Put the pink box on the yellow vase thingee by the door and you get a 'cat-in-the-box'. F is under the lid on the floor. @ SM

top green box for c, think i opened it with the feather thing i had that i tickled the cat with!
For c you need to stick the duster in the green box. But try poking the cat with it first for a laugh :)

SM, I quickly replayed it: yes dusty feather thingy is in brown drawer, you need number code for it. Look above the curtains for hint for code...

MissBrasil: Do you have the clue with the letters in a circle you can twist? When you turn it over, you see a hint with a window that can be opened to let the sund shine in.

Sorry MissBrasil to leave you all alone here, but I think we need some japanese speaking reinforcement here. My guess is that there is a hint when you click at the bookcase or something like that, I think I see a code in the books too, but can not guess what it should be...

clicked on colored doors in abc order..got seed packet from B and an A from purple door. Progress!!

When A door is open, click on the door again. A Is on back side of door. I'm stuck now :0(

Found the "a" -- inside of light blue door!
click on the doors in alphabetical order again and get a toy mouse. in about item, flip mouse and move switch to "on". Cat plays with mouse but I STILL can't get the key!

whoa, but mouse knocked books off shelf and have SD now!
I'm stuck after using SD. I can see in my CB some losangles (red yellow and blue) and that's all.
use sd on thing in bookshelf to get color code, then use SD on desk and remove drawers and replace them in the right order. bottom drawer has a pot you can put the seeds and nut in.
can't open my desk drawers..?!?!?!
finally out! seems the seeds were for catnip, ha!

@nini xD use SD on side of desk to remove screws, then you can open the drawers. Each drawer has a color. Take them out and replace them according to the colored diamonds on the bookcase.
I hope I never have to hear that music again!

@Puzzled in CA, wait until the toy mouse knocks all the books off, then take SD and use it on the back of the middle shelf. Then you'll have 3 diamonds, I think R,Y,B (not sure about the order). Then use SD on desk, etc.
Puzzle just click cbs in order abcdef (do it twice)

I've planted the seeds, but can't find a place to put the pot.
The circle thing disappeared -- must have been hint to do the alphabetical doors.
Oh! Click on the pot one more time -- crazy, happy kitty! LOL
Puzzled after placing pot u need to click it in about item view to make plant grow, after that put it next to cat.
Wow, so many had to suffer, to stun the cat with the flower pot! I will complain to Greenpeace!
so i came back to it and managed to get out!!! wasnt easy! but yeah, catnip to distract the cat!!! should have guessed that one!
Late but I just finished this. Very nice game.
@Irchik: You didn't hit the cat with the flower pot. There's catnip in it. One of my cats loves this too, and believe it or not: after playing with it for 15 minutes he lies happy on is back just like the cat at the end.

found the A, cant flip the cat toy over , I clicked all over and it wont flip over so I can move the switch.

GAME NOTE:
If you want to complete this by yourself, you have to be prepared to click every unsuspecting pixel and investigate everything, especially in your inventory, at least twice -
or just look at this walkthrough for where you get stuck. =D
Walkthrough part one:
Right.
Click away the two orange speech arrows to start escaping.
You are faced with a grumpy-looking cat that spanks you the instant you try to get that key.
Hm. Which little kitty will NOT get his gourmet sardine pate for tea tonight? That'll be going on my toast after all!
Notice the pelmet decoration [the semicircles above the window with shapes on them] and count the number of points/angles on each shape [a circle has no points].
The small square cupboards on the right are different colours.
Click the brown one [lowest, centre] and see a panel to enter a 5-digit code and a semicircle similar to the one on the pelmet.
The points on the shapes are your numbers, so enter them and click the semicircle below. Back out and click the same door to find a feather duster [It just LOOKS like one, okay?].
Highlight the duster and click-and-hold on the cat to give him a bit of exercise, and you a bit of amusement.
Now click on the other small doors to open them.
The yellow one contains a letter "b". Click it to splat it onto the outside of the door.
The others contain nothing for now, and the green one [top] is locked.
If you click the wall just next to the desk, on the right, you see three screwholes.
Back out and use either side-arrow on the main view to turn around.
Click the big poster to the right of the door to get a wheel on a paper.
'About item' this and see a short sequence of letters with "b" and "e" in circles.
The comments said to turn this paper [I think] but I never found out how to do this, and I didn't need to as I was already out when I read that.
When you click the paper the sequence moves around in alphabetical order [I've no idea why else this is a clue].
Click the "G" at the bottom to close the view [it's actually an arrow going anti-clockwise] and click the little car on the bottom shelf.
It moves, revealing an "e", so click to put it on the cupboards.
Walkthrough part two:
Turn to the door view again and click the salmon pink box on the second shelf up. Knock the glassy thing down [no idea why I did this, but it might be important] and notice a blue diamond on the back of the cabinet.
'About item' the box and see two holes in the base.
Two prongs are sticking up out of the cone-shaped object on the right of the door, so plonk the box on top of that. It fits, but you need to click it again to operate it. =)
A droopy cat-in-the-box sags out to the side and the lid pings off, so click that to find a light blue square underneath. The zoomed in view shows a letter "f", but when I played, clicking it had no effect the first time, so I turned round to find that cat swinging from the pelmet!
I gathered all my sneakiness and clicked the key but the dreadful cat scythed my hand again!
It went back to resume its gymnastics and a brown fly "zizzed" out [I heard the sound, it was definitely a "zizz"].
Click the chair to move it and find a seed on the floor [a zizzing seed?]
Get it.
Now turn around and zoom in on the blue "f" square again, click it to send it to the cupboards and pride yourself in a job well done.
Get a bit desperate and randomly click around to discover a "d" on the bottom right corner of the salmon pink exit door. Click it to move it and then have another ponder.
Try the "feather duster" in the hole in the green cupboard door and see the item vanish from your inventory! YAY!
Open the green door to find a "c". Click it to bung it on the outside and deduce that the bottom left greyish-purple door should be the "a".
Repeatedly slamming that door will get you nothing, so try the doors in alphabetical order.
Have another go or two at the cat while you tear your hair out for a while. You need to do this before you make any further progress [I found that out during replaying to write this. Yes, the developer wants us gamers to really suffer with all those scratches!]
Try the doors in alphabetical order again and get a bag of compost from door "b"!
Make sure you have nothing highlighted in the inventory or nothing will happen!
Walkthrough part three:
Next, I made the curtains open and shut repeatedly by clicking anywhere on the window, then tried the doors again.
Behind door "e" we find a mechanical mouse.
'About item' this cat toy and click to turn it.
Nice clue here, "on" and "off".
Click the switch and close the view.
Use this toy on the cat - he darts about, creating havoc, and you end up facing backwards, but he has knocked the books down!
So, he does have his uses then!
Get the screwdriver and use it on each of the black dots around the grey area on the second shelf down.
This exposes a colour order, red, yellow and blue from the top down.
Turn around, and while you're at it, click the "a" door once to open it, then click the edge as the open door faces you.
Your "a" at last! Don't forget to click it to move it.
Now, attack the screws on the side of the desk with the screwdriver.
Back out and open the three drawers. Click each one again to completely remove it.
The linings are coloured.
Now apply your wisdom from the shelves colour clue and replace them properly.
Do this in any order, as long as red ends up at the top and blue at the bottom ;)
Now the big one below these will open and give you a flower pot.
'About item' the pot and use the compost on it, then the seed. Click this assemblage once more for your magic Super-Fast-Sprouting-Catnip bush to appear. Close the view.
This is one nasty cat, and you may well feel like cracking the lot over his head, then burying him among the roots, while you half bleed to death from all the scratches he's dealt you, but this is overkill.
Use the plant on him and take advantage of him in his "altered state" by stealing his precious key!
Where's your ego now, cat! Muahahaha!!
Resolve to get him neutered the next day, then turn to use the key on the door.

Out with Rookwing's help. Screws on the side of the desk were hard to find, and I never thought to keep retrying the doors for the mousie.
