Bookshelf, you can push all the books in except one which has a symbol. Selected that symbol on the spinner; nothing happened? Then I looked again and door was open. Truly a mystery palace.
okay, found the key to the desk which gives me a stand? I am sure the wall safe has to be the final step.
need two more cubes. star and daisy as shown on gold frame.
There is a key under the closest lamp. That gave a stand. Not sure what to do with the stand yet.
need a knife for the wall panel.
placed the stand with 3 shapes, lit the 4 lamps. and now?
playing with the books (the stuck one) got the wall safe open, I guess.

Out. Put all cubes on the stand (hint for order is yellow picture in the background. turn on all the lamps and "squeeze" them by hitting the middle part. They will emit a beam pointing to and reflecting from the middle cube. This beam finally opens the secret compartment high up on the wall.
Where is 3rd cube? Got wall safe and to left of books.
I have found only one cube (near the bookshelves) and 2 light switches.
I only have stand and first cube.. plodding on .. you are all so fast!
NVM. Found it. Top of middle pillar on right.
switches for wall safe...
1- on the table on the left with the lamp on.
2- Orange sofa facing the fireplace, bottom right corner.
3- Bottom right corner of big picture at the back
4- On the little green chair next to door and bookshelf

Got cubes from cupboard, wall safe and top of pillar

Just can't find third cube - have got the safe and pillar ones. Looked all around the bookshelves.
Oh no.. haven't got the wall safe open yet, I mean the cupboard. Silly me. How DO you get the wall safe open? Is there a knife?
3 Cubes in stand, are they connected to the
Secret place?
What do you mean squeezing the middle part? clicked all over the lamps and the cubes but nothing happens

I'm stuck. Can't get that third cube. All my lamps are lit.
KatrinFix- click the lamps on the tables, sort of three quarters of the way up (does that make sense)

Finally out, there are 4 lamps to 'push down' (probably a better way of explaining it than 'squeezing') once you have all 3 cubes on the stand

One of my lamps just skips around the table and the others do nothing. I have switched all the switches on and off... I am lost now.

All switches are down, lamps are alight but nothing happens - am still missing a cube. Maybe I should restart!
I swithced on the moving lamp on after the other
3 lamps were beaming and it worked.

ok it worked for me once I had opened the cupboard (from bookshelf) and switched all 4 lamps on... if it does not work for you then maube have to re-start! (

Had the same proplem but worked after pushing the last book (the yellow that you couldn't push before)
habe das gestell,dann alle 3 würfel eingesetzt und dann alle lichter angemacht,alle 4.trotzdem passiert nicht und oben das fach an wand ist zu. habe mehrfach durchgespielt und erst alle lichter an,dann alle cube gesucht und eingesetzt und auch umgekehrt.aber nichts.kann einer bitte helfen?
Quick Walkthrough
Start off by clicking the table on the right hand side and click the switch so the lamp comes on.
Click on the bottom right of orange sofa (facing the fireplace), and click that switch so the lamp closest to you turns on.
Click the big painting at the back and click the switch on the bottom right to turn on the lamp in the far right corner.
Click on the little green chair in-between the door and cupboard at the back and click the switch on the bottom left of it to turn on the lamp on the blue stool.
Now click on the books on the bookshelf at the back and push all the books in that have a symbol on them.
Notice that one book doesn’t go in, this is the first clue to the circle next to the bookshelf.
There is a photo frame on the right hand side with pictures of a clock and flowers (and that symbol in the corners); you need to have a look at it before the cupboard will open.
So go back to the circle and put that symbol onto the arrow, it should open and reveal your first cube.
Next click the lamp on the red table closest to you, you can move it across and get the key from underneath.
Go to the desk on the left and use the key there to get a stand.
You can click the middle pillar at the top, click it again to get the second cube.
Go back to the bookshelf and push in that final yellow book (that would not go in before) and that should open the wall safe on the right wall for your last cube.
Click on the blue stool in the middle of the room and place your stand there.
On the yellow photo frame at the back it shows you the order to place the cubes on the stand.
Once all placed, go round all 4 lamps and click the neck of them so they shine a light at the cubes.
Once all lamps have been clicked, they will shine up to the secret compartment which has the key to escape.
Get the key and use it on the door, and you escaped!!
ok so it wasn't a 'quick' walkthrough, but I think that is pretty much everything :)
