premiere

have you an adblock or any other ad blocking plugin/programs? if yes, turn it off

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 11:19 AM

ok, finally I'm in, trying to catch up, lol...

thx Megi,
but I got it without changing anything...
:-D

s-t what is solution to math? x4 x3 :2 not working?

hmm.. I thought the last puzzle was as below - but that didn't work :(

SPOILER

x4, x3, /2

3 word puzzle look at bookshelf

color puzzle look at stove buttons

x4 +232 :2 doesn't work either

Purple key is harder than usual.
1st step can be *4 or +87
2nd step can be *3 or +232
No combination is working for me

Everything else was easy for me this time, even the picture, which usually takes awhile!

@ Puzzled.. not working for me either

Sorry guys spoke to soon, not out at all. Thought I had the black key when I had the sequence, but didn't work.

Tried
x4 +232
+87 x3
+87 +232

But they all don't work?

why is purple puzzle not working...?

I have tried every combo.. +, x, :

nothing has worked so far

Roberto, the top right piece being all white can be tricky...

These games are usually so flawless -- but there must be a flaw here?!

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 11:33 AM

same here, L&G...
(btw, caught up, lol)

Hiya! how late am i?

I think it must be a fluke from the programmer as I usually get these right, and so do you guys.

loading.....slooooowly :(

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 11:35 AM

May be a bug. I'll come back later. Good luck all

Crowbar? What crowbar? Not findin it!

Got it. The problem was in the tree.

ok.. I am quitting. Has to be a bug!

you get a crowbar after solving one of the puzzles. Don't remember which one. (red, green or blue)

Yep, quitting too.
Pink key puzzle is not correct.

just watched the video walkthrough the numbers are 203 ..... 609.??

Glad I'm not the only one having problems with the # progression puzzle.

Oh noes! I'm having probs loading the game, and you're having bugs IN the game! This is so UNLIKE Gamershood :(

Thanks Ting ting.
But it doesn't make sense for the first part.

So it is; +29 and x3. and the +29 is wrong.

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 11:47 AM

Rachel,
had the same problem (in FF), but after refreshing a few times, it worked

ting ting,
I saw that too... what kind of math is THAT?
:-|

if there were a 0 in the first position it would make sense.

If you think the sequence starts from zero it makes sense.

Sorry, it wouldn't. My bad.

Not like any math I've ever done... lol

i know it dosent make sense but it gets you out the door ....lol

It's not wrong. If you assume the preceding number was zero, you get 29 with +29 and 116 with 29 x 3. So the first unknown number is 203 (174 + 29) and the second unknown number is 609 (203 x 3). Tricky, but not wrong!

Roberto, the crowbar must be from the green key that I don't have yet... grrr

And we know what happens when we assume... lol

well done to Jim...thanks

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 11:55 AM

Jim,
at my calculator 29 x3 = 87
and not 116 (second number)
this is 29 x4
otherwise the pattern is wrong...
;-)

Thanx Premiere! Finally in!

Lol Jim. That would work indeed for the first part with 'assuming' the first is zero, but then the second part is wrong; 116 isn't 3x29, but 4x 29.

Anyone still battling with the Pink Key? I'm working on it now. First one is 29x4=116

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 12:03 PM

lol, Rachel,
that's the bug!
(btw, look at comments above)
;-)

thought about joining in but i can not do math even with no bugs lol

Finally got the elusive green key, which led to the crowbar, and on to the orange key...

Hmmmmmm, so the last number is 3 digits, which means, the second part of the sequence is NOT x3, but +232, but it still doesn't give me the black key!

S-T True,
With Jim's assumption, we would get 203 / 812 instead.

Grrrrr - getting ALL this way to meet a BUG! @&^$&*#^(@

But Rachel, you can still get out with 203 and 609. Ting ting found a walkthrough somewhere.

any orange key hints?

Thanx S-T! Refreshing now to see if they've fixed it. Feels weird not being able to finish a Gamershood properly. Even with incorrect answers.

lynmilly,
Don't remember what that one was, but if it was the word puzzle then look at the books.
And if it was the number puzzle then look around there are 4 different coloured digits all around. I 'think' I remember the white one was on the washing machine and the brown one on a book.

I doubt it. At first, they need to KNOW about the problem. And since it's a helluva lot of effort to contact any of them (and plus, get to the right people) the only luck we may have is in getting one of them to look in here and read our "bug reports."

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 12:17 PM

lol, s-t,
for the ominous (video-)WT, it's the link top right on game screen...
;-)

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 12:19 PM

29 X 7 = 203
174*7 1218/2 xd

I'm not so sure about that Arbeitslooser.
The maker of these games first had his own site (before he joined Gamershood). I think it was Rhotuc or something like that. And in those days he always read the comments here and made changes when we complained.

Lol Leepton.
And what's the logic behind it?

How about a very far-fetched and complicated explanation.
The sequence is;
29-116-348-174-...-...

29x 4=116
29x12=348
29x 6=174

and then;

29x 7=203
29x21=609

- x7 because 29x4=116 and 116x3=348 and the 4+3=7
- 21x because in the first two step we did 4x and 12x. And 12 is 3x4. So to get 21 we do 3x7.

where d = the square root of eleventy seven

       Anonymous  8/31/11, 12:51 PM

very clever, s-t!
ROFLMAO

Yep you're right Stryboh.
The sequence was mad by an evil genius;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pUyZ6sdHEk

'mad' had to be 'made' in my previous post but I guess it doesn't matter here, both are right.
