bigtank - you need one more. check the drawers under the lamp and the left chair next to the table

SwissMiss - no it wasn't. We only had one SD game this week. Maybe he's working on a really good one... we can only hope
perhaps he is on a well deserved holiday - kids and all lol

Clicking on the box didn't work for me either. Had the gold key in inventory; can't drag the box either. Suppose it was a fitting end to this game.....
I also need one more nail..but have the one from the chair and under the table with the lamp....any other suggestions...thanks.
I can only drag the box around, but can't open it or place it anywhere...not fun, this one.

Nails;
- Drawer under the sink.

- Next to the coffee maker.
- On the most left chair.
- Inside the bottom part of the clock.
- In the left drawer of the most right table.
- In the top drawer of the blue nightstand (left, next to the bed).
- Inside the last hanging cupboard.
Thanks small-tool! Now I can't get my box to do anything at all...just stays stubbornly in the inventory. How frustrating.
Same issue with box. Can't place it anywhere or even send it to the middle of the room. Clicking on the box then key won't work either. Played twice... I quit.
Box stuck in inventory and cant drag it any where or cant get it to screen to put key in, must be a bug in this game.

You have to put the 8 nails on the big brown box and then hammer them in. And then you can take a little box and if you haven't got a bug you should be able to click that new box and use the key on it, to get the key fot the door.
4 points! Ok, it wasn't the longest game, but there's also no bugs at all. That needs to be appreciated.

I had no bugs either, but it seems for some kind of browsers it does have a bug. A lot of people couldn't about item the box to use the key on.
Odd that the game has a "logic" tag yet the game itself goes against logic. Using nails to open a box? Hammering a nail in the grooves around a lid on all sides only serves to make much harder to open because you're essentially wedging it shut! Games2rule? More like Games2drool.
Lol DarkenedHeart, but I beg to differ.
I think the nails were hammered in slightly slant and because you do one nail first and then an other on another spot you open the lid bit by bit.
Just like how you open a paint can by using a screwdriver.
Just kidding.
12 hours later, tried it again, still has the same bug :( I hate hate hate being that close and NOT being able to finish!
Played in IE, Chrome and Firefox but still couldn't open the box.
On a positive note: nice hammer action :D

FULL WALKTHROUGH
For nails [copied from 'small-tools']
- Drawer under the sink.
- In the sink.
- Next to the coffee maker.
- On the most left chair.
- Inside the bottom part of the clock.
- In the left drawer of the most right table.
- In the top drawer of the blue nightstand (left, next to the bed).
- Inside the last hanging cupboard.
Then obtain hammer that is in the top drawer facing you.
Go to the large box and hammer in all 8 nails using hammer and get the box inside.
Collect symbols:
-On the oval table
-Cupboard directly facing you
-Under lamp
Click the circle of symbols next to the door.
Obtain key.
Use the key to open the box and get the door key
Escape!
