Oh dear, what a sound. And off with it.
Hi. Went left and found a wrench (spanner) and a lever. I plugged in the machine and flipped a switch, but nothing happened yet. Went right and found switches, but they didn't turn on the lights.
Live game?? Woohoo!
So far I have rope, a lever, a jack, a hook, a peice of wood and a wrench. I plugged in the maching in the left screen. Switched out the lightbulb from the main screen to the one on the right.
Now I am stuck.
go to dark room and switch on two lights
used wrench and found a handle in the right scene
My screen was so dark, I couldn't tell that there was even a picture on the main screen. I had to tilt my computer way back to finally see that switch. Thanks, Jerold or I never would have known it was there!

Got my jack set-up under the desk thing, but I think I'm missing something.
Opened the thing with my wrench, but I didn't find anything. What am I doing wrong?
Frozen scene with piece of wood, jack and lever or handle under the desk. Should turn it but can't. Can't do anything. Won't start again.
Where did you put it? I have tried a dozen times and it hasn't worked for me!

Oh, found the handle, thought that it came from using the wrench. Now I have a wooden handle from using jack. How do you use lever on machine? Tried many times, but nothing happens.

Finally the wire moved. I must have clicked it a hundred times before.
POP now I have the wooden handle, key, hook and rope.
Oh, it's not frozen. You can turn it by holding the mouse button.
Things to remember
At first turn only the lights on. (I couldn't move a wire otherwise)
Move the jack after placing it.
Jack works by dragging with mouse right to left.
I have the same problem with the jack as @sue27. Everything is frozen.

Now it seems I need another key.
use the lever on the part of the machine that looks like a surfboard. make sure you turn it on after that to get the water flowing

OK hook attaches to end of rope
hang rope on the dot above the door and use wooden lever to the left of the door.
Try aiming for the red arrow with the mouse - total fiddle faddle, but I finally made it work. now I an't mend the wires!
I seemed to have drugged the mean kitty, but I still can't get the key. I think I need a number code for box first.

Hmmm. Maybe my game is just frozen because I can't back out from kitty now.
@LNS you have to be sure the switch on the left scene is OFF before you can mend the wire.

It seems that spraying the cat was a bad idea.
Not sure I liked this enough to start over. Good luck to the rest. This game is not as good as cafe cafe games usually are.

oh! It let me back out somehow but now I can't get back to the cat to get the key.....
NM now I am frozen on the zoomed out scene of the cat. grrrrrrr

you can get out - the white down arrow appears intermittently, i finally clicked sort of left ish and now zoomed back

Before I sprayed the cat I gave cookies(?) to the dog (don't zoom in, place the plate on the floor) and got a key that opened the bottom drawer in same view to reveal a mobile.
short lived triumph, can do nothing now - giving up
cat's key opens top drawer for charger.

can't place plate of cookies on floor in front of the Dr. Seuss dog, zoomed in or not.
can't even hit dog over the head with the baseball bat. No fun.
I quit. It kept freezing on me.

Hi all... And am out..... :)
frustrated with not being able to give the cookies to the dog. So I ate them. And then I went back and climbed out that window in the original room. Out by clicking X in upper corner. too buggy!
Don't try placing cookies near dog. Right place was somewhere left on the floor.
For those unable to give the cookies to the dog... On the zoomed out view, place the cookies near the small square on the left hand side of the floor. Then zoom into the dog and click the dog, to reveal the key for the bottom most drawer... that has the mobile...
What am I suppose to do with the moble ? plugged it in tried switch up and down walked away and nothing happens. Im thinking that is where you find the code for the box.?
@ Alice - Yep... once you connect the mobile to the charger, make sure that you turn the switch on. Once the switch is on, I had to press the top left key of the mobile, and it said - "Low battery - Charging" or something similar to that. Then I press the top right key, and this code was displayed on its teeny tiny screen... had a tough time reading the numbers... :)
zoz you are too funny. My game just committed suicide and I am having to start over.
I finally made it out, but certainly had to use all of the posts for help. Not as much logic as their games usually have. The light switches were very tricky. I really didn't have any bugs, but again, those switches, and where to place the rod on the machine would have been impossible without help.

nevermind i figured it out
There is a light switch to the right of the top right corner of the door
You may need to tilt the screen to be able to see it
Click to zoom in on the switch
Then click the left button only
This turns on the light over the door
Get the COIL OF ROPE from the right side of the wall
Click the florescent light bulb tube in the holder on the top of the left wall
Get the LIGHT BULB TUBE (you can only take it if the power is off to this light!)
Turn left
Get the WRENCH/SPANNER sticking out to the left of the pump base\
While here, you can also get the LEVER to the right of the glass tank
Place the lever (more like a piston than a lever) on the right side of the top of the pump – you can see one is already on the left, but the right one is missing
Note! You can only place this if the pump is off
Go right 2 times to the dark scene
Place the lightbulb tube in the holder to the right of the green vent
Zoom on the lightswitch
Click only the left switch so the light is on
Zoom on the bottom of the generator machine on the left
Use the wrench/spanner to remove the cover
Click the purple wire to connect it (I think you can only do this if the power to the pump machine in the other room is off)
Get the WOODEN BOARD from the right open door of the cabinet
Get the HOOK from the left open door
Click the bag on top of the cabinet to find the JACK HANDLE
Get the JACK sticking out from the left side of the green blanket
Go left 2 times
Zoom on the cord/plug of the pump machine
Click the cord to plug it in
Now click the switch to turn it on
Get the KEY that floats up
Go right
Click the cord in your inventory for the about item view
Add the hook
Place the rope/hook on the top wheel over the giant safety pin over the door
Zoom under the desk
Place the board in the desk opening
Put the jack on top of the board
Click it a few times to move it left
Put the handle in the holes in the top
Click and hold the handle and drag the mouse following the red arrow to turn the jack
When the table lifts up 2 times, click the WOOD HANDLE that is now free
Place the handle in the machine in the back left corner
Click the handle to drop the inner door
Use the key in the outer door
Click to enter room 2
At the bottom of your screen is an arrow to turn around – do so
The very mean kitty has a key, but you can’t get it
Get the SPRAY BOTTLE from the cabinet to the right of the bed
Zoom on the kitty and use the spray on his face
We are going to be hopeful, and think kitty is knocked out and not dead @__@
Get the KEY
Turn right
Zoom in on the plate the chest on the left
Get the PLATE OF COOKIES
Back up so you are not zoomed in
Place the plate at the very bottom of the screen in line with the foot of the chest
Zoom on the dog and click him so he moves
Get another KEY
Zoom on the chest again
Use the key from the cat on the top drawer of the small chest of drawers for the CHARGER
Use the dog’s key on the bottom drawer for the PHONE
Still zoomed in, put the charger in the plug at the upper left of the screen
Click the switch to turn the power on
Put the phone next to the end of the charger and click to connect the 2
Click the phone to open it and again to have it face you
Click the top left button to turn it on
Click the top right button to see the code
Back up and turn left
Zoom on the safe beside the orange box
Put in the code

Zoom on the door lock and use the key to escape!
Tried twice and froze up both times while spraying the putty tat. It's a shame it did that I was enjoying the game.
I loved it too a lot...But developers: TEST YOUR STUFF. This reads: THOROUGHLY.
Otherwise I will give you -3 stars, (wanted to rate 5 but I'm now sticking to 2)

Thanks a lot for your feedback.
We tested the game 3 days in a row and after several changes the developer sent us this as the final (bug free) version.
The bug with the spray and the cat seems to be erratic. We experienced it in the previous versions but we didn't in this one.
We'll transmit your feedback to the developers.

I think the "error" could be that you mixed up the versions? You might have kept the working one on your non-public server but uploaded the buggy (=previous) one to the public server.

have tried playing twice now and it has locked up both times on spraying the cat in the face.. cant get the key and if i click the down arrow to get out of the scene it locks up solid after that
its a shame cause there are so many escapes i wont play any more and there are one i still like to play.. but have no choice but to abandon this one

that was one buggy game !!! It had good intentions and cute different not mind blowing number trips that you have to google a mathematical wizard ..but frustrating...
I didn't encounter any bugs, but my tiny system was blatting along at 100% CPU usage most of the time, which freezes my mobile broadband.
Now, most people have stronger systems than mine, but this might be why some people are having problems?
I HAVE to control my pc through the task manager as any more than 22 processes crashes it.
The only frustration I had was with the power switches needing to be in specific positions for other things to work.
It takes about 5 minutes for me to restart each time, not including internet reconnection time, and as I wasn't sure what my problem was, I had to refer to kitkatfox's walkthrough in the end and found out it was the switches. [Thank you, kitkatfox] =)
Having said that, I did enjoy playing this, overall. =D
