Hi, This is a new escape game developer. All your feedback is welcome.
Thanks for playing.

Thanks, @Claudia.....
I have got nothing , so far...LOL

scrolling carefully and slowly...I found a blue key!

Hi nokra...I cant find somewhere to translate the braille. Been googling.

found a small silver key that I can't reach on the right side of drawers

need 3 letter code, 4 digit code and some scissors for the red key!

ohwah...is it morse code??

HI Nokra and clio rose!

is it braille? I was trying to see it with my tired eyes

Must be morse!! oops..the pic says 'Samuel M'

I've been looking at morse code and can't figure it out.... seems there are too many dots and dashes?

I think I need another coffee

Hi Jo-Ann. Good luck.
Too tired for this one. Night

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 8:26 AM

Morse decoder translates it to:

"Nothing to do"

if it is morse code, then is the first number 6? I'm having a tough time figuring out where one number starts and another ends

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 8:28 AM

Blue key hidden in painting, top left.

@Jonesy... guess I was way off! lol

Hello all,

got a blue key from the 3 color picture.

blue key givesSD

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 8:30 AM

Blue key gives screwdriver from dresser.

SD gives key - gives scissors - gives key

4 digit code gives ruler

Drag key over drawers, gives SD

where do you use the sd?

POP lol

Behind picture with man is a colour code

Definitely Morse code...but too small for me to read...lol

red key gives a picture of keys

picture in inventory has morse code on it

got the 4 keys now trying to figure out the letters

Use scissors for red key. I need another green key.

morse code translates thanks for to play??

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 8:34 AM

Ooops, sorry folks, my parameters were wrong om my Morse decoder.

Should read; "T H A N K S F O R T O P L A N"

@SM how did you get the other key? Do you mean the silver one beside the drawers?

I got a ruler from 4 digit drawer.

yes - turn the painting around - you get code for 4digit drawer

with ruler you get the silver key

where did you get 4 digit code??

forgot to do the 4 digit code

now have 4 keys and a three key picture

Where is silver key ? Nothing beside drawers....

sd gets green key

green key gets scissors

zazie - a bit pixely - its left of drawers - dont zoom in

@Zazie, don't zoom in, there is a hot spot on the top left of the drawers

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 8:40 AM

Hotspot for silver key is top-left of dresser.

why can I look at the ruler in my inventory? am I supposed to measure the keys? Tried, didn't work

I have blue, red, green keys and the picture in inventory....now what?

how do colors translate to 4 digit code. if you go by painting it should be 2312 but it does not work.

thank you all, got the key, now what ?

red key gets key clue paper... and stuck...

evans....on the keys are numbers, enter the numbers like the colours back of picture are.

@Evans, on the back of the painting it shows 4 colors, look at the numbers on the keys

evans the color clue is behind picture in inventory - then its the key numbers

please, @zazie...how do the colors convert to numbers for the drawer?

@Nokra, do you have the silver key?

on the front of the painting is some morse code. does it mean 3?

@Nokra, the colors aregreen red blue green
the keys have numbers too

got the 4 keys and 3 should transfer into a 3-letter-code

tried the colors of the wall - and transformed keynumbes to letters like 2 = B but no luck

yes jo-ann - its a 3

so stuck with letter code. Drawer 1 has picture of 3 keys. On picture (with key 3 on back) it says 3 (in morse, top left) and drawer 4 has picture with 4 keys. Where is the clue in that?

I entered "KEY" in the door panel but it doesn´t work.

thanks Zazie. Now what?

four digit code isn't working for me. I put in 5425?

tried SAM as well - but nope

LOL...just figured out how to zoom the items in inventory!!!!! LOL

nokra, look at the man´s picture in your inventory, turn it. You see 4 colours, then enter the numbers of your keys in the drawer like the colours show.

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 8:47 AM

Hmmm, you can "about item" each key by clicking the green behind them.

Each key has a Morse code on them.

why can we look at the ruler in inventory? that must be a clue

5425 worked for me.

and out !

click red button after entering the numbers.

@ Zazie.. thanks must be a bug.. restarting

look at the keys closely and read them from top to bottom

C'mon Swiss Miss give! How did you get out???

Thanks @Jonesy, didn't realize I could about each item, thought it was just the ruler

evens - the keys have faint morse on left side
they make letters
its ---. and ..-. and .-..

are the markings on the key marking which letter in the name Samuel?

SM i don´t understand....

for the ones who have not got the morsecode handy

spoiler spoiler

SPjOIfLElR

Thought those letters would be J, L, and F, but that's not working.

cant get the morse code off the keys.

Oh i am too lazy to google :)

Zazie - highlight the keys - the colors are according that wall-thingy cyan/green/red

look at the cyan key highlighted
on the left you can see ---. thats a J

do the same with the green and red

Seawall - its right - but look at the colororder like the painting

Thanks SwissMiss, i am out too :)

had to click the door several times to open it after inputting the letters.
Thanks for all the help.

but why the order 2 5 4 for the keys?

Yvon - look at that big painint at wall - the colors are cyan, green, red

so take the keys with the same color

JFL not working either.

Arrgghhh... out finally. that game beat me up, obviously morse code is not my strong point...and I need more coffee

thanks for all the hints!

Thanx SwissMiss for explaining.

JFL working but click the doorknob a few times

THANKS! @swiss!!!!got it!!!!
color order from picture, combined with morse code on keys!

I printed out the morsecode some time ago because it always comes up in games - so I have it handy lol

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 8:59 AM

Ahhh, the colour order on the painting!

I forgot about the painting.

Out too!

Put in JFL, and clicking that red button like mad, but nothing happened. Must be a bug; really didn't care for this game too much.

Ok, not matter what I do, I cannot open the four digit code drawer. I put in 5425 then clicked the red button. Tried in FF and Safari... anyone else have the same trouble?

EnJoy, I got the puzzle you're stuck on in FF, but I could never get the door open with the proper code. I think the developer has a little work to do, just MHO, and Claudia did say he is new, so might just need a little more practice.

sorry no Enjoy - 5425 is really right - but did you get the keys and did you turn the painting around perhaps there is no shortcutting

same with the doorcode - perhaps one has to look at keys up closely and have the first drawer open before it works??

Computer is very very slow today...takes a minute or two to post a comment....thanks for all the great help, everyone!

Good game for a first...I liked it!

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 9:03 AM

Here's a nice Morse Coder / Decoder,

http://webnet77.com/cgi-bin/helpers/morse.pl

I had no problems and I quite enjoyed the game

what I did not like is having had translated the whole sentence below painting - thats a waste of time

@ Swiss.. I have followed the correct steps, must be a bug just for me :)

I followed all the steps as well, no shortcuts.

sorry for you two - just hope the gamemaker reads through the comments and checks !

I had no problems....I agree with @swiss...maybe you have to look at (zoom the keys) the clues before you use the codes! I like that in a game because, what is the point of just putting the spoilers???

make sure you used all your keys. so JFL will work

I had to enter the letters with the top arrows (not the bottom ones) in order to escape. I had used all keys but when I used any of the bottom arrows to enter a letter, the door would not open.

Hi all!

I liked the game and had no problems with putting in the codes.

Most problems I have this evening is posting, because blogger won't let me in for several times!

I think, we should encourage the new developer, he's on the right way.

I ussed the bottom arrows too - no problems with it!

Poooohhh, blogger seems to be working now.

       Anonymous  8/24/11, 11:34 AM

I think it's a very nice game for someone who's just starting developing.
You have to do things in order to get out. I like that cause you have to use all your items, instead of reading solutions and get in and out.
My compliments!

No walkthrough?

There is now.

Click your flag of choice to enter.

Go right.
Zoom in on the picture with cyan [pale blue], green and red sections [then rummage around in your desk drawer for your "Anti-Gaudy-Glare" Shades].

If you study the picture carefully you can see an oddness in the very top left corner. You may even recognise the shape as a key, so click it.

If the dots along the bottom frame of the picture look suspicious, you can copy and paste them into wordpad to see that it's Morse Code.
I've got the whole code written on my notebook, so I translated and it says "Thanks for to play". That's nice =)

When you mouse over the key in your inventory you will see that the green background lights up.
The only way to view this key is to click this green background, NOT the key itself.
Have a look.
The text says it opens the second drawer, there is a number "2" under the name, and you may just spot the morse code down the left side of the key's leg [what else would you call it?]. Anyway, it's dot-dash-dash-dash, which is the letter "J".

Close the window and go left or right twice.
Zoom on in the drawers and drag the key up over them.
A drawer flies open into your face and your screwdriver awaits.

Back out twice and go right.
Drag the screwdriver over the gold-framed picture and it springs into your inventory, along with a green key and the screwdriver.

Study the green key to see the number "5" and more morse, which translates to a letter "F". The text says it will open the fifth drawer.

Close the key window and examine the picture by just clicking right on it in the inventory.
The name Samuel M. is at the bottom right, and the morse code at the top left translates as "S" "M", but this is just the guy's initials, and another hint to look out for morse code in this game.
Click the bottom right-hand corner of the picture to turn it and see four coloured lines on a "photo of a broken key". This is the hint for the colour order of a code. G,R,B,G.

Go left, zoom in and drag the green key up.
Flying drawer offers you your scissors.

Back out and go left or right twice and drag the scissors into the view.
Examine the red key. See the number "4", morse code for the letter "L" and text saying it will open the fourth drawer.

Back out and turn to face the drawers, zoom in and use the red key.
This shows the last clue for the 4xdigit code to open the middle drawer.
The numbers are above, and the order, so enter them on the drawer and get a "Samuel M. stick", which is a ruler.

Back right out to the full view of the chest of drawers and mouse just over the top left of the top drawer - cursor change will point to a new view of a tiny or distant key.

You can't interact with it at all until you use the "stick" to reach, so drag the ruler to it and it's yours.

Studying the key says it will open the first drawer, so back out to zoom in on the front of the drawers again, then drag the silver key.

This shows a picture of three keys, and the order is from the colour sections on the gaudy picture - B,G,R.

Back out twice, turn to either side twice, then zoom in on the three-space code on the door.
See that it requires letters.
The morse code from the coloured keys go in the order from the hideous picture, so enter them, click the open doorway and begone!

Thanks, Claudia, for posting this, and thank the developer for us.
I like the way things needed to be done properly in order to progress.
Very nice game with some crafty little puzzles, and virtually no pixel-hunting.
Please give the developer a pat on the back from us. =D

lol loved the walkthrough, Rookwings. And I needed it -- I found it tough to see things in the game.

Good game, but a dumb brain today. :P

I agree that we support this new development, because we need new ideas for games to escape. And to be his first creation of this excellent ... it made me sweat lol
And I read his blog where he recounts the games ... that imagination is! It makes you be in the game, like a novel ... I said that is dedicated to writing mystery novels lol, but I see you decided to venture into something you love: Games Escape.
Juacofl Congratulations!!
Indeed JFL has to do with himself lol

I hope the owners do not bother if I share the link to your blog .... http://juacofl.blogspot.com/

dew,

Congratulations to joacofl for his first game!

He is a devoted player to point and click escape games and has great ideas.
Give him some time to practice his programming skills and you'll be rewarded with quality puzzles in the games.

Best regards.
