So far: blank paper, key, crowbar and blue ball
Used crowbar and found another key and blue ball with "t". Used key - gave another ball with "e".
Ball "s" from using flower color code. Used paper on candle for another hint.
Ah first key is used on piano for ball "l"
Hint from paper used on 3-digit-box gave a rope.
And out!
Two endings:
Use rope on balcony: End
Use balls on door: Happy End
I saw 2 endings.

I have 4 balls now but missing I.
I don't get it at all. All I have is a blue ball with A on it and the paperclue. Don't get the flowerbox. Which colors do I need and why.

Got bad end because clock stroke 12....

And replayed this time finding the crowbar behind the fireplace. Could have sworn I looked there.

go left
Click right of the base of the fireplace
Get the CROWBAR
Take the dark blue ball from the center of the right flower vase -- A BALL
Note the box on the fireplace needs a color code
Go left
Use the crowbar on the boarded up window
Go onto the balcony
Note the flower pots
Lift the third flower pot from the right for the T BALL
Lift the rightmost one for the SCROLL KEY
Back up
Use the scroll key on the right safe for the E BALL
Go right
Zoom on the fireplace and then on the box on the mantel
Enter the colors
When you have them correct, you can click the lid of the box for the S BALL

Go left
Click left of the box that needs the number code
Find the STAR KEY
Go left
Use the star key to unlock the keyboard of the piano
Find the L BALL
For the normal end
Open the back of the piano and take the BLANK PAPER
Use the blank paper on the candles for the code hint
Count the number of candles, flowerpots, and small tables in the room
Go to the scene with the balcony doors
Enter the code into the left box for the ROPE

Go to the balcony
Use the rope on the railing and click to escape
For the happy end
You don't need to enter anything in the 3-digit code box
Instead, zoom on the panel to the right of the main doors
Place the balls in the correct order to spell a word begining with C

Oddly enough, the happy end takes less steps than the normal end
