lol! Would never have thought of that in a million years! So if we don't have a barcode scanner on our phones, we're out of luck... unless we have people like you who do...

btw - were you able to combine the hook and string?
I love it - there are two strings. one connects the speaker, the other with the hook

hi@clio! The battery goes in the remote, which you get from the big orange picture with the squares on the bottom. I opened it by chance - never saw a code for it

Oh yes it did..lol. I cheated via comments from Roberto for the rest. I had the 3D glasses, but after your hint about the remote..they were gone? Was hoping they would help me read the 'bar-code'
oh hang on...sorry...i used them to read the orange lamp didnt I. Sorry if I've confused anyone.
the hint for the lines on the orange picture are from the "sound wave" lines coming from the speaker after you attach the wire..
I don't understand how game makers can think that everybody has a cellphone and especially a cellphone with a scanner !

Was a good game until the end; I rated it a 2 because not everyone has a bar code scanner on their cell, or not everyone may want to download the bar code scanner to their computers.
I agree Pascale and Seawall! I tried to download one once to my cell and it wouldn't work, because my phone isn't a "Smart Phone". Although I must say the link that DrLee posted did work, but I was always under the impression that those 'bar-code' things were only for cellphones.
I thought the bar code scanner was really surprising and original, actually. I was going through the game, thinking: "Why does every game have you find the same items? Again with the remote that needs batteries, again with the number code," etc. Then that popped up and it felt like a real scavenger hunt. Then again, I have a code reader on my phone. :) I may very well have been peeved if I didn't and couldn't get one.
I will follow Seawall by rating it a 2 too.
Sorry Sir/Lady Developer but this is simply a thing of brazenness ! As some people like to ONLY use their cell phone for calling up people, not as a cheapo organizer or whatever. So they may do with a cheap Samsung: neither camera nor barcode scanner.
And hell, they live on.
Sheesh.
Anyone still playing this one. I can't find the place to put the code in. I feel so stupid.

As I also only have an age-old cel just for emergency calls, I needed that number for escaping without more help.
Well, I'm subscribing to the view of some players above about the bar code reader/cellphone...!

I would also like to comment about the barcode: please don't put elements in a game that not everyone is likely to have. Just because someone has access to a computer does not mean they have access to fancy phones like that. Also remember that not everyone has their own computer and are limited in what they can download on whatever computer they are using.
