Halloween Escape 3 is the third chapter of the new point and click escape game series sponsored by 1001Arcade.com and JuegosDeEscape.net You managed to escape the first room with a key. Me too...need lots of help, but love these games!!
Two red gems and two green balls so far..
Look in the book and combine with the telephone colors for the chest number.
Found 2 green balls - one between two pumpkins. There's a hint on the walls under the fire for the shapes puzzle (round puzzle on wall)
Get a shovel with that....

metal rod is actually a ... knife? cut pumpkin with it
Green hands are a clue, but doesn't work on skulls....

I thought the knife would carve the "blank" pumpkin, but not that, either...

Also, in the door view - there's a metal rod. You get knife with the 4 green balls.
So, the metal rod carves the pumpkin, not the knife. Hmmmmm
I forget where i found the first green ball. There's one way down at the edge of the bottom screen in one of the views.
@Zoe: green hands work for skulls, look at the thumbs...
Where do we use the shovel?
@easygoing, I don't understand your clue for the telephones and book clue the numbers in the book are identical except for one number
colour code, combine number of blocks on the wall with the coloured rounds. Each colour has some "sticks" around. Hope you know what i mean.
..and out. The four green balls give the final tool for the fourth gem.
You can count the teeth on pumpkins for a code, but that doesn't work on the box either.
Oh, you DO use the knife on the pumpkin anad get a red gem...someone already found that, I guess

the round color code - combine it with the square signs in the same view

I am so bad at these games! I have 3 green balls, two red gems and still can't get the phone code
@Easy as always I was over thinking it! I was using the number on the phone to direct me to a number in the book grrrr!
and found my 4th green marble...behind the pumpkin Sheesh! what is up with my head today!
So, one has to finish the first two games in the series to be able to play this one?

@easy, no, they give you the key in each level whether you played the previous level or not
I know because I haven't played level one or two...because I am so bad at them!

you were not, there are always at least two ways how you can combine the clues like that one, so just got lucky the first time.

I can't get these skulls right. I've studied the thumbs and it should be completely obvious but I'm at a loss. Help?

It's the number of teeth from the 4 pumpkins on the windows.
The way I see it they should be turned R,U,L,U

Combine the numbers indicated on the phones with the colors from the book: first number is green, so look at the green phone first, the number on it is 2 I think and so on.
isnt that the code for the code box?

Ah the color code, yes, sry:
Look at the round color signs, they have teeth on them which are matched with the square symbols to the left on the same wall. The first symbol is 3 squares, so the first color is blue and so on.

Opening scene,
Phone, Blue, 4.
4 Pumpkins with 4,1,3,4, teeth.
4 number box.
4 color box.
4 ball box.
Hand with thumb pointing Down.
Go right, door scene,
Phone, Green, 2.
2 symbols on lights, Dot + Waves.
Hand with thumb pointing Left.
Metal bar in most right window
Ball behind stone right of hand.
Go right, Skull scene,
Phone, Red, 9.

Go right, boarded wall scene,

Change symbols to,

Use metal bar on Big pumpkin for first carving.

Note the colors on right side with ‘spokes’
B/3, G/2, Y/5, R/4.
So color clue = BGYR
Go right,
Place 4 balls and get Knife.
Put BGYR into color box and get Gem.
Put 2941 into crate and get Gem.
Go right twice,
Set skulls the way thumbs were
The chin pointing -D,L,D,R. Get Gem.
Go right,
Use Shovel on wall three times and get a 4 number box,
use pumpkin teeth clue 4134 and get Key ( For next game)
Go right, use knife on large pumpkin and get the last Gem.
Place Four gems at door and Exit.
Out with no help, although I thought the number should be 2947 and got lucky
