Awwww...thanks @premiere...I had not clicked the moving bush ....that was cute!

Haha, very sweet!
I like the way she has developed a fondness for the tree since her close encounter in its bowels last time. ;)
And the bears as backup against the little green woodcutter? Fantastic!

So she saves the tree's baby and plants it in a new pot at her own home.
I suppose the lurking bears are wondering if she's got any porridge, chairs or beds spare to make up for her own vandalism in their house?

The little guy in the pond? The Lady Of The Lake's child, perhaps, premiere? ;)
He came in useful, at any rate.

This was a marked improvement. It actually let me pick up most of the objects myself, and it was a lot less linear.

As for the guy in the pond, he's a reference to an old fable about a poor woodsman who drops his axe into a pond. A spirit appears from the pond and shows him a gold and silver ax, asking him which of the two he dropped. Being honest, he says that it was neither of them, just an ordinary ax. The spirit rewards his honesty by giving him both axes.

It seems to me as though Minoto and Sakura are having a contest to see which can be weirder; a "Weird-Off", so to speak. At least for this week, I think Sakura wins.

Thx TBTabby,
for the explanation - now I remember the fable, too!

Oh I have to...I really, really do :P Steinbeck and F. Scott Fitzgerald are beckoning me to stretch my artistic...what? Oh...I beg your pardon....apparently, Edgar Allan and/or Bram Stoker, or perhaps both, are reaching through the .... oh never mind... Shall we get on with this .. ahem....*Tale of Three Bears with cameo appearances by Goldilocks and the Woodsman*..... :

TRULY FRACTURED FAIRY TALES AND OTHER SUPERFLUOUS COINCIDENCES

I was walking through the woods one day when, foresooth, I stumble upon not only an unknown fair-haired maiden wrapped, tangled, snagged, mangle...but I digress. I stumble upon a fair-haired maiden entangled in what appears to be a tree branch??? what? Okay...well, shall we continue...wait!!!! What is this by the tree? A *gas lighter* and *rubber cup*...not to be critical but my toilet plunger looks remarkably like that *rubber cup*...but what do I know... I notice a path to the left leading to a house...so, I walk boldly to the door and .....OMG!!!! What the....three bears and would someone please make hyper-manic baby bear STOP dashing back and forth and back and forth and back and fort....oh, the vertigo! A hasty escape takes me back to the fair-haired maiden still wrapped up in the tree branch...I have fallen into a bottomless hole and I do not see a rabbit anywhere ..... *rummages through knapsack to find something with alcohol....I guess Nyquil will have to do*...

Alright...perhaps it is the Nyquil, but waving the toilet plunger...oh fine... *rubber cup*... aimlessly in the air inspired the tree to loosen its grip on the fair-haired maiden and drop her to the forest floor :/ I am still dizzy from the furry flurry so I take the path to the right and lo and behold, plopped on a tree stump beside a pond, a ... woodsman? with an unlit pipe in his mouth...? Oh...well eureka! I dash back to the tree and grab the gas lighter and make fire in his pipe....oh NO!!!!! He yanked the axe from behind the stump and rushed to the tree and is now trying to bring about its demise....ahem...chop it down :/ Fair-haired maiden is plastered against the tree, making a brave stand against cretin woodsman...but, oh LOOK!!!!! I have some pliers and a ....oh geez....where am I anyway!!!! a PLATE...a white plate! So....back to the house with the manic flurry of fur and....voila....I short out the microwave with the fish in it and throw the plate on the table .... *takes another swig of Nyquil*.... oh....WOW!!!! I click on the three bears and I have just captured the family...oh your guess is as good as mine!

Well here we are...back at the tree... I summon the bears with my mystic mouse clicker thing...apparently the woodsman has panicked, especially at the sight of junior, and flees, leaving his axe and ... whoa!!!! a shovel too? Now what....? Oh...yes, the shovel! How convenient it is to see a plant to the right of the tree....and look at the fair-haired maiden dig a perfectly round hole and lift the plant out of the ground....oh well great....bear family and fair-haired maiden rush off on path to the right to who knows where...what do I have to lose, I have come this far... I follow!!!

Part Deux: Fractured Fairy Tales and other Superfluous Coincidences

Everyone is staring at the pond....a stab in the dark or is it the Nyquil speaking to me...oh anyway...tossing the axe in the pond seems to be the thing to do so.... ? YIKES!Some little man with his tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth...he must be tired from swimming up from the bottom....oh pffttttt!!! Onward and forward...with an encouraging click of the mouse thing, bear family and fair-haired maiden jump on poor, worn-out man's head and rush off to the right leaving behind an empty watercan and a hammer...I no longer question anything here :P However, in a moment of lucid thought, I fill the watercan with water from the pond, then rush off to who knows what!

Over the pond and through the woods...to whosits house this band of .... oh they all rush to a house on the other side of the pond and through the woods where, of all the...! Fair-haired maiden just flings the poor innocent, almost-dead plant on the ground before dashing through the door. Well, well... some cracks on the side of the house beckon the use of my handy dandy hammer that I no longer question the origin of, *pause*....WHACK pulls up a chair to watch the show ...mouse races out of side of house as cat on a hot tin roof leaps to ground and chases mouse, knocking down barrel in the process... I could not make this stuff up...*where is my Nyquil*....!

In another lucid moment of thought I think to myself...look at that poor almost-dead plant and look at that barrel and isn't it amazing how they seem to be made for each other....oh don't ask and stop laughing! Suddenly, fair-haired maiden flings open the door and waters the plant which magically grows and....what....that's all there is????? Alright, that cat has to know the way out of here....this is a dream....RIGHT? RIGHT? I know I spotted an Asylum a few miles back.......

@irishenigma. I dont know what Nyquil, is but I either had it before I played, or wished I had.

Brilliant. Thanks for the laughs.

@irish, you don't post very often, but when you do: WOW! roflmao! Thank you for your FFT&OSC!

ok Minoto.......what's up here....???? the game is too short, and its NOT making sense any more..lolol and Im one of ur biggest fans, but...ah...com'on!!! a little logic...pleeeeezzze.....

Haha! Time for Ellie to dust the crowbar off and break open the doors of the Museum of Walkthroughs again perhaps?

This is most definitely worthy, yes?
