I don't understand how to put the colored sticks in the thing on the wall

I've got eight sticks. Guess I need two more to spell X-mas but I can't find them. (Jennifer, I just kept putting them on and removing them again until they went into the position I wanted.) Can't do anything with the window and can't find a key for the bottom drawer. Can't figure out an order to turn on the tree lights, if that's what I need to do. ??
I have seven light sticks and no clue what to do now. I presume that the X-MAS sign on the bird is a clue
where did you find the key? I cant find them?
thnk you have to collect enough sticks to figure out a code or word?? :P
The key is in a mound of snow by the right of the exit door
so far got sticks from
1. Right side tree
2. Drawer
3. Using shovel on snow by bed
4. Using bucket on puddle
5. Twiddling the right eye of the snowman
6. Behind the books
7. On the square blocks
found pink one on the second part of the room on the wall between bookcase and door
RSA..and 1 near the bed leg
is there a second key somewhere??

Are we supposed to turn on the Christmas tree lights in a certain order? Is there a key for bottom drawer? I have 9 sticks and stuck :(
If you click on the middle of the right hand tree it zooms in
i think I have eight sticks... RSA what did you mean by 'right side tree'?
the 3rd tree there is spot to light in the middle
When you have all the light sticks placed it will give you the order for the tree lights. No key for bottom drawer

there's a key in the tree with the lights - switch them all on - not sure if there's a sequence, but there it was - hope its the last stick!

Light sticks....
Under front edge of bed - cyan
In the left xmas tree - blue
Beside the mirror - purple
Poke the left snowman in the eye - green
use shovel on snow heap - brown
use bucket on pool of water - red
Behind books - yellow
Between bookcase and door - pink
Click square on ic block -D Orange
Use key from small heap of snow by door - L Orange

Get shovel and bucket from screen two.
Collect all the light sticks as above.
Switch on the fan and look at the bird in the cage.
Arrange the light sticks in the frame to spell out the word(s). Click the switch. Use the colour order given to turn on the Christmas tree lights. Take the key and leave.

-Click on right tree
-Corner of bed
-Right side of mirror
-Puddle (use bucket)
-Top drawer of mirror (Use key from snow lump on second screen)
-On wall between the bookcase and door
-Behind books
-Square on chair (Second screen)
-Snow lump near bed (Use shovel)
-Move eye of left snow man
Then turn on fan and click on bird to find "XMAS" written on its body

-For the 'A' you put the stick diagonally (If you are confused) and then when you spell "XMAS" correctly, it will show you a pattern and use that pattern on the middle tree and you get a key.
-Use key on the door and you are FREE!

When you click on the tree on the far right, so that it is zoomed in, what then? Where is the light?
orange, blue, red, green is the order of the christmas lights. no walkthrough needed!!!
