Cult Escape is another point and click room escape game developed by Dina Gjertsen from Shattered Games. Hmmm... I opened the shade and got a grenade, and then I saw something disturbing.
at least the disturbing thing has a key.
the grenade pin is a key - and here I thought I was about to blow myself up.

there's a pencil sharpener in one of the hallway rooms @Kapnias
the sharpened pencil is used on the legal pad in the "Church of Currency" for a four digit code.
yes i found it soz also a strange meter at the couch ant turn on the floor lamp for colour code
ahah, there are some shelves with historic dates; 1760 has a pistol, 2011 has a toilet plunger!

wow, so many rooms. so far I have a VHS tape, a handle with a crystal at it's top, a meter, a pair of pliers, a cup of Kool-Aid with a poison sign, a battery, and a key from a money purse.

Hello zoz. The handle is used as a club. I have a meter, battery and an ATM receipt. also need 3 more times from clocks.
@mykegs, did you get the ATM receipt from the ATM? I still wish I could get back into the original room. Where was the 8 ball?
I like the knife with the star date under it. Where was the VHS tape? The VHS player is under the TV once you find all the times.

I don't remember where the VHS tape came from. I just restarted so I could go over the first room more thoroughly before going into the hallway, so I'll let you know where I find the VHS

the chocolate bar and the cactus dont need anywhere , you ll need the colours of them

I went up the elevator and got recaptured by the cult. Ahhhh!
i cannot find all the necessary times to unlock the VHS.
I couldn't find anywhere for the battery or meter.
Sorry, I'm still playing catch-up. Now have the ATM card and the poison pill from the room at the end of the hall, and battery inserted into meter. This seems to be one of those games where you have to do things in a specific order.
So far, I have 7:00 and 12:00 for the times...
Rudi, The times to unlock the VCR are on the Red alarm clock in first room, White ATM receipt from the ATM, pool ball clock by the elevator.. and I forced the fourth time.
red time at the first room

also, the meter tells a clock time. With the battery.
its not black its blue and its for the meter now i saw it
Finally found the way back to the first room - through the "Heaven's Gate" door.

I put the card in the ATM and put in the code from pad but nothing happens - I cannot get the card back or cancel the code or do anything
buggy??
I think there is a time machine ending maybe? lol

@darcus: you can't escape without the video tape, it shows the final code for the elevator.
After entering all the times, a VCR is revealed and that's where the VHS is used.
Where in the hall is the VHS tape.. thats the only thing i'm missing.
i did find it, i was mistaken, I guess i played it before the drawer was open. slight glitch. i knew the code.
I did press enter and all the other buttons too lol
had to go out of the room and in again and then it worked

@mykegs: VHS tape (if I remember correctly) is in the hallway on the floor in front of the walled up exit (just click down when you look along the hallway)
@MyKegs, the VHS is at the brick wall at the opposite end of the hallway from the room with the elevator and the 4x4 grid.
Duh, NVM.. There's a red arrow in the hall to turn around.. didn't see that first time through.

are the x = white or grey - both dont work

the blank buttons are white in the top left section and grey in the bottom right section swiss

@Swiss, do you mean the 4x4 grid on the wall to the left of the elevator? The colors are the same as the colors on the bookcase in the first room (I can't remember them now :(

NVM found the blue meter it is in chruch of currency room inside sofa ....
blue meter is under center pillow of the white couch in the currency room
now i got the vcr,,,dont kno wht to play on blue meter
so the escape is that you get recaptured? booo

Note pattern of lights. (Blue on, red off, green on, yellow off, white on.)
Go back.
Click on file cabinet to close up.
Drag key with dollar sign to lock to open. Something will fall.
Go back.
Collect key from in front of file cabinet.
Go back.
Click on center door to close up. (Flat Earth Society.)
Drag key with globe keychain to door to unlock.
Click on door to enter.
Click on pizza box on table to close up.
Click on box to open. Note clue. (Kill the plant.) Go back.
Go right twice.
Click on pool ball clock to close up.
Drag 8 ball to empty spot on clock.
Clock with move. Note new time. (7:00)
Go back.
Click on snowglobe on right. Drag time machine handle to snow globe to smash. Collect pill bottle from inside.
Go back. Go right.
Click on flat globe to close up.
Click on flat globe to tilt. Collect ATM card from base. Go back.
Go left. Click on door to exit to hallway.
Click on rightmost door. Click on door to enter. Click on left side pillar. Collect pencil sharpener from base of pillar.
Go back.
Click on pencil sharpener in inventory to examine. Drag pencil to sharpener to sharpen.
Click on legal pad to examine. Drag sharpened pencil to rub on pad and reveal code.
Code is 6-6-7-9
Click on blue meter in inventory to examine. Click on top of meter to flip. Click on battery compartment to open.
Drag battery to battery compartment.
Click on top of meter to flip. Meter is now on. Note time on meter. (12:00)
Click on pill bottle in inventory to examine. Drag pliers to bottle to open. Collect pill.
Click on coffee cup in inventory to examine. Click on lid to open. It's full of Kool Aid.
Drag pill to cup to make poison Kool Aid.
Go back twice.
Click on door that is second from the left to close up. (Church of Currency.)
Click on door to enter.
Click on plant to close up.
Drag poison Kool Aid to plant. Plant will die. Collect small doll from plant. Go back.
Click on ATM at back of room.
Drag ATM card to slot.
Click on keypad twice to close up.
Enter code from legal pad and hit enter.
Code is 6-6-7-9
Go back.
Take reciept.
Go back three times to hallway. Click on door that is second from the right to close up. (Heaven's Gate.)

Click on shelf with bronze colored buttons.
Enter the code from the lamp.
(on-off-on-off-on.)
Note time on alarm clock (3:00)
Go back.
Click on small doll in inventory to examine.
Click on doll's head to reveal USB drive. Close inventory.
Click on bottom shelf, second from the right to close up.
Drag usb to usb slot.
Go back.
Note colors pattern of shelves.
(Color pattern top row: black, white, gray, yellow. second row: grey, gray, red, gray. Third row: green, blue, gray, orange.
Fourth row: purple, gray, brown, gray.)
Go back. Go left twice. Click on door to exit.
Click on center door twice to enter Flat Earth Society room.
Click on grid of buttons on right side of screen.
Click on buttons to turn them the colors of the pattern indicated by the shelves in the Heaven's Gate room,
When the code is entered, it will say "Elevator Unlocked."
Go back. Go right twice. Click on door to enter hallway.
Click on red arrow to turn around. Collect VHS tape from near brick wall. Turn around again.
Click on rightmost door (Grand Lodge.) Click on door to enter.
Click on altar, then click on yellow panel to close up.
Click on ATM reciept in inventory to examine. Note time on reciept. (11:00)
Click on clock puzzles to open panel. Enter times from various clocks.
Red clock - 3:00 (from alarm clock in Heaven's Gate Room.)
Green clock - 7:00 (from pool ball clock in Flat Earth room.)
Blue clock - 12:00 (from meter in inventory.)
White clock - 11:00 (from ATM reciept in inventory.)
When code is entered, panel will open and reveal VCR.
I played this the whole way through without help and it was just hard and just easy enough to make it my new favorite game - LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!! Thanks SO much!
