Hm. missing one hat. Havent't used the bolt nut yet, but no idea where to use it?
Nvm. out now. Had to use the bolt nut on the shears and then on the plant/leafs in front of the couch.

- one part of shears on plant next to bed.
- second part of shears, from doing the rhombus shaped grid
- bolt nut, behind books next to couch.
- working shears; from putting the two parts together and then putting the bolt nut on it.
- corkscrew; between pillows on bed.
- axe; from doing 3-coloured circles drawer.
- hammer; behind pillows on the couch.
- screwdriver, on the apples/peaches in the cupboard next tot he couch.
- end key; place all 8 hats in the hats drawer.
CODE HINTS
- 4-digit; behind painting and on clock.
- 3-coloured rings; on footend of bed.
- 8x8 grid; behind pillows on couch.
- rhombus shaped grid; in the mirror on the cupboard next to the couch.
HATS
- GREEN, from doing picture drawer.
- PURPLE, from doing 4-digit code drawer.
- YELLOW, from using corkscrew on wine bottle.
- ORANGE, from doing the 8x8 grid drawer.
- BLUE, from using the hammer on the skull.
- RED, from using the axe on the door below the clock.
- WHITE, from using the 'fixed' shears on the plant/leafs in front of the couch.
- BLACK, from using the screwdriver on the pencilholder on the desk.

i have green blue red yellow circles from under the picture so I thought 5436 is the four digit number...but it is not, what am I missing... have all the hats but this one...

You need two parts of the shears. First combine those and then put the bolt nut on.
dang ... nvm ... got it and out! did that "rombus" thing 8 times correctly! before it worked!
