not really, @addicted....lol

it says - if you do not speak japanese this game is very difficult!

hi @swiss...did you get anywhere? lol

Is that your kitty on the copier ?

I have never understood why the creators of these games can have English in parts of the game but not in all. This game asked if I wanted to play with sound on or off! Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and solve it :-)

For those who want to try to guess, I used nciku to enter the characters under the picture:
夕日を見ている侍
which google translates as "watching the sunset"

If you break the last character to a new line you get
夕日を見ている - "watching the sunset"
侍 - "samurai"

This may be a reference to a Japanese song.

I also looked up the pronunciation of the Japanese numbers 1-12.

1-Ichi/iti 一
2-ni 二
3-san 三
4-shi/si/yon 四
5-go 五
6-roku 六
7-nana/shichi/siti 七
8-hachi/hati 八
9-ku/kyu 九
10-zyuu/ju 十

11 : juu ichi (joo as in juice + itchy)
12 : juu ni (joo + knee)

夕日を見ている侍=A samurai who is watching the sunset
You can see the sunset in the west.
West=西(nishi)
So, ‘A samurai watching the sunset’ means ‘A samurai who is watching west’.

‘A samurai who is watching west’ is ‘Ni-Shi-Mu-Ku-Samurai’ in Japanese.

Ni=two
Shi=four
Mu=six
Ku=nine
Samurai=eleven《侍=士 士=十(ten)+一(one)=十一(eleven)》

So, the answer is 2,4,6,9,11.
