  1. Small, give us a hint for 8?

    ReplyDelete
  2. I hope I don't have to know information about theses books in order to solve level 8. I haven't read most of them.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I tried deleting books with double letters, Call, Doone, etc. still nothing

    ReplyDelete
  4. The title says "He will have a title" so I think the answer is the title of a book itself that a man wrote.

    ReplyDelete
  5. maybe the titles make them pairs. Like BLACK Beauty and WHITE Fang could be twins.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I dunno, cause the rest don't make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  7. i stuck on 2 any hints?

    ReplyDelete
  8. still no idea for level 8, but have to go for now. Yoli thanks again for a fun and challenging riddle!

    ReplyDelete
  9. @ noa, there are many hints on the first page. You will find the answer quite amusing ;)

On level 8 there are quite a few 'twin' possibilities: Colours, names (the way they are used) same author, animals, gender etc..

Maybe title refers to a peer of the realm such as Lords Byron or Tennyson!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I tried to make pairs by how many letters each book has in it's title, but I can't seem to get a word from what is left over.

    ReplyDelete
  11. i found some but i can't get fharther

    ReplyDelete
  12. I don't think it's about pairs. I think it's going to have to do with the letters in the book titles, but not the content of the books themselves, since the other questions were like that.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Just Wickie'd all the authors, no twins. That puts that option to bed.

@lightsmagic, good thinking, I'll have a look at that...

    ReplyDelete
  14. Noa, we're not allowed to outright give you the answers to all the levels if that's what you're asking for. There's only so much we can tell you. The rest you have to figure out yourself. That's what makes riddles fun! That "Oh duh!" moment when you figure out how to do a puzzle. If you have a legit question, then try to be more specific than "I can't solve it. Someone help me." every time we give you a hint.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @noa: use kik = lol to change the first letters of the names of the foods pictured. Hint look at your keyboard.

    ReplyDelete
  16. @noa, when you say you found some, what do you mean. If it's the names of the fruits, see EnJoys post on 6/5/12 @ 9.48. The use the Initial letter of each and move 1 place right across your keyboard..

    ReplyDelete
  17. Okay, letters in book titles are (across and down)
    11, 16, 15, 11, 9, 11, 8, 16, 12, 13, 10, 12, 18, 10, 4 and 17 (I think).

    Any help?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi Again. Trying to catch up. I am on level 5 (flowers) Do I have them right

    1. Carnation 2. Chrysanthemum or Dahlia 3. Godetia
    4. Lavender 5. Rose 6. Tulip 7. Iris or Snapdragon ??

If so, I put them in order of rainbow and then what?

    ReplyDelete
  19. That's what I did earlier rambler. I crossed out the pairs of numbers, but couldn't get anything from what was left over.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @enjoy. red 1 orange 2 yellow 3 etc

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hi @ queens, good luck and hurry to level 8. Yoli has set us multi possibilities for finding the answer lol

Got to go for a few minutes, back soon...

    ReplyDelete
  22. i did what you say but is tells me it's worng

    ReplyDelete
  23. 2 is a dahlia, and 7 is violets, then you organize them in rainbow order (pay attention to the title for the indigo/blue difference), and then pull letters like rose=red=1=first letter in "rose"=r

    ReplyDelete
  24. noa, what did you enter and whom are you referring to when you say "you"?

    ReplyDelete
  25. h.... and i mean rambel

    ReplyDelete
  26. the answer isn't going to be 1 letter. Your answer is going to have as many letters as you have pictures of fruit.

    ReplyDelete
  27. i know it is h and 3 more letters?

    ReplyDelete
  28. No. Name the 5 fruits you see.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  30. grapefruit,yummy,blubbery,banna,tomato

    ReplyDelete
  31. it is not yummy it is sweet potato

    ReplyDelete
  32. @noa is see you are a non english speaker as you first language, check your spellings. and use google images to help you

    ReplyDelete
  33. never mind i got it thanks

    ReplyDelete
  34. Umm, no. Yummy isn't a fruit, but it'll do for now since you only need the first letter. The first one is not a grape though. It's a Mediterranean fruit called a date. So your 5 fruits are: Date, yam, blueberry, banana, tomato. Then shift the letters over 1 key to the right like you would to go from "kik" to "lol".

    ReplyDelete
  35. @ lights thanks for the hint on 5. That was what I was thinking but didn't have the flowers 100% correct

    ReplyDelete
  36. in 4 i don't know what to put insteadof a1a
    i know it is rome

    ReplyDelete
  37. @noa, use Roman symbols for the numbers and you will get letters, then anagram them for a 5 letter word, for a1a ignore the letters, just use the number.

    ReplyDelete
  38. ignore the A's noa. Only change the numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Anyone still working on this?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hi jbg, any further forward on level 8?

    ReplyDelete
  41. No Rambler. I've ran out of ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Me too. There are so many possibilities!!

I'm gonna play around with a bit more, then I've got to get ready for work after the lonnnnnnnng bank holiday weekend..

    ReplyDelete
  43. Right, one thing I'm going to try before I go is publishers. It's a long shot I know...

    ReplyDelete
  44. i did changed but nothing help on 4

    ReplyDelete
  45. Miracles do happen - I got level 7 without looking at any hints... :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. @EnJoy: Now if you could solve level 8 for us it would be great. lol

    ReplyDelete
  47. i am stuck at 4 i did a lot of cheinching but nothing

    ReplyDelete
  48. @noa: You need to change the 5 numbers on the page into 5 letters. Think Roman.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I am looking at 8 guys.. and looking and looking. I will let you know if anything clicks.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Level 8, my idea about publishers was a wash-out. I got a couple of MacMillans, but they were the only link ups.

    Hmmmmmphh!!!

Yoli, throw us a frickin' bone here, we're starvin'..

    ReplyDelete
  51. Welcome to the 'Stuck Party' Joyce :o)

    ReplyDelete
  52. i can't find the letters

    ReplyDelete
  53. @Rambler: Yoli said that level 8 is not the number of letters and that it is definitely something with the titles.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @noa, try this

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_numerals

Convert the numbers to letters and make an angry word (5 letters).

    ReplyDelete
  55. Here I go. Behind as usual. :P

    ReplyDelete
  56. @jbg, okay.

There are still many possibilities with the titles though..

    ReplyDelete
  57. Welcome @stealthy, catch up quick!

    ReplyDelete
  58. i did this it it's worng i start with the 1?

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'll go as fast as I can but I'm sure someone will be out before I even finish level one :p

    ReplyDelete
  60. Level 4 Help for Noa:

    Signs with numbers on them.
    Sign 1 = 500
    Sign 2 = 1
    Sign 3 = 50
    Sign 4 = 1
    Sign 5 = 5

You need to convert these numbers into roman numbers. for Example w/ sign 1 is 500 which is "D" in roman numbers. Do this for the rest of the signs.

    Use this website for help:
    http://www.onlineconversion.com/roman_numerals_advanced.htm

You will get 5 Letters, then you need to unscramble them.

    Use this site to unscramble:
    http://anagram-solver.net/

That is about all I can give you without giving you the straight answer which isn't allowed

    ReplyDelete
  61. @noa, 1=I, 5=V, 50=L and 500=D.

    ReplyDelete
  62. YAY Ninji to the rescue!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Level 5 hints

you see six objects - now think what "element" is in each compound. Look up their symbol on the periodic chart. You will get 11 letters. these 11 letters make up three words. There is a very good hint at the top of the page. As mentioned in an earlier post, the last word is alone. the first two words need to be unscrambled from the rest of the letters.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hello Yoli :o)

    Nudge, nudge..

    ReplyDelete
  65. :) Congrats on the game yoli! Although you should have made a ninja version that was easier! :p

    ReplyDelete
  66. hey - I finally get to level 8 and you're all still here! Thought I'd still be catching up :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Level 6 Hints

    7 flowers (all different colors)
Name the flowers - hint orange is dahlia and indigo color one are violets. Yellow is godetia. the rest are pretty easy.

Now google rainbows. and arrange the flowers in rainbow color order 1. red=rose, 2. orange=dahlia and so on. then you take the first letter of 1 Red - Rose = R, the second letter of 2 Orange - Dahalia = A .. continue on and find all 7 letters.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Stuck on level 8! No idea.. eyes glazing over :0)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hey @annaby, welcome to the Stuck Party.

    ReplyDelete
  70. in 5 i putt the 3 words but it's worng i follow the clues

    ReplyDelete
  71. thanks @Rambler. I'm only here because of all the great hints that were left along the way.
I'll be of no help whatsoever!

    ReplyDelete
  72. @annaby, new minds are required, I'm sure you'll help!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Level 5 further hints.

    3 words- H- S--- Alone

Look at hint at top of page. Do not put any spaces in your answer h-s---alone

    ReplyDelete

    What do you already know?

    ReplyDelete
  75. We don't know Jack... trying to correlate the book titles somehow

    ReplyDelete
  76. We need to know evrything. lol

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hey @Yoli, we've tried loads of stuff, see above. But nothing fits yet..

    ReplyDelete
  78. LOL! You are using the titles

    ReplyDelete
  79. use the full titles and you probably should write them down!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I have them all written down and I can see a few correlations, but nothing stands out as an answer..

    ReplyDelete
  81. OK guys lets try this (Look at all the titles as one big puzzle and count how many times a letter appears) Kill the Twins, for example if T appears 19 times thats a letter we need because its not even. Even # of letters is a letter we dont need) I think this is the way to go. Remeber LOOK at all the titles, lets see what we have left....

    ReplyDelete
  82. @ Queen. how many times a letter appears in all the titles?

    ReplyDelete
  83. I've got a spreadsheet going on this one now lol

But I have to go to bed now, goodnight all and thanks for all the clever hints and tips :o)

    ReplyDelete
  84. Finally on to level 9 now. Thanks Queen.

    ReplyDelete
  85. yes, it worked, cancel out letters is how i did it, use Notepad, write out all the title, then cross out doubles you will have 7 letters left that anagram to answer :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Clio,

    ReplyDelete
  96. thanks Queen finally worked

    ReplyDelete
  103. Really? Is this like Jon's riddle where we are allowed to ask proper questions? If so, here goes. What am i supposed to be looking for in level 3? I thought it must have something to do with the word "it". Have tried taking it out of the one of the words and anagramming...but nup.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Hi again all, I think I know the movies for 9, but not sure about the last two speakers

    ReplyDelete
  105. "it" is used only one other time in the text. remove it then anagram

    ReplyDelete
  106. What is the 5th movie? can't get that one

    ReplyDelete
  107. I have Day Watch as the 5th movie

    ReplyDelete
  133. Hi clio, yes elements are right

    ReplyDelete
  134. Hi Clio...
Level 5 Just anagram their symbols, three words

    ReplyDelete
  142. clio, just use the sentence

    ReplyDelete
  143. Arrghhhhh.. I had used spaces. Thanks Donas.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Has anyone noticed that on level 9, you have to click a link in order to enter the answer? This is different that the first 8 levels? Maybe, I'm going crazy! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  145. Eric Knight,
Don't worry about that. That's only because FreeWebs only allows ten pages with the same start URL.

    ReplyDelete
  146. You are not going crazy Eric as Mr. Tool said! But, when you do go to that answer page you will get to see the infamous piddles gallery!

    ReplyDelete
  147. Thanks ST. I thought it might have been a clue. Due to it, I tried "please", "answer" and "answerplease" . . . none of course worked! Stuck . . . depressing. Marching on though!

    ReplyDelete
  148. Finally on to 10. Thanks Yoli, that movies FIRST, finally clicked

    ReplyDelete
  149. Spill it Donas. Movies first makes no sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  150. jbg, only look at the movie's first word

    ReplyDelete
  151. I just noticed that, but I still can't get anything from that.

    ReplyDelete
  152. nevermind I got it now. I had the wrong last name.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Is there an egg on 10?

    ReplyDelete
  154. Got Level 9! I'm stoked!

    ReplyDelete
  155. I don't know Donas. Did you find one?

    ReplyDelete
  156. got a contrats page, but it said "Well done......but is it really done well?"

    ReplyDelete
  157. look for something wrong

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yoli, thank you for a great riddle. The first of many I hope!

    ReplyDelete
  159. I tried that Donas, but I don't get a word from those letters. Is it 6 letters?

    ReplyDelete
  160. Is it the letters that are wrong or the ones that they are supposed to be?

    ReplyDelete
  161. I have tried both. Maybe my letters are wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  162. ok I have seen both endings now. I had some letters switched. Finally finished.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Thanks For the amazing riddle Yoli.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Thanks Donas. I had the right letters all along, but for some reason I switched some of them around so I was mixing up answers.

    ReplyDelete
  165. YAY JBG! Big Cheek Pinches!

    ReplyDelete
  166. OK, I'm on 10 too! Where to go from here.

    ReplyDelete
  167. @Eric knight: look for something that is wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Sorry, I'm on to 10+. Oh, what to do?

    ReplyDelete
  169. I'm here. Still trying to figure out what is "wrong". The banner keeps changing and the "yoli" part appears to be the same. The only thing I came up with is in the well done part. However an anagram from 1 to 3 words gives bad results.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Hi @Eric..

    Just compare the song names...
I'm here, if you need more. Feel free to ask me

    ReplyDelete
  171. GOT IT!!!!! Excellent Game! Now I'm going to watch the video! For those who like this type of game, search "Tim Tang Test". Last time I checked it had 200 levels and no one has got close to finishing. There is plenty of "live" assistants who can help you though. I made that one to level 75 or so before I gave up. Hope you do better than me!

    ReplyDelete
  172. I think we played.....and beat Tim Tang Test on the darkside.....google riddlechat....

    ReplyDelete
  173. how do you getting into anything riddlechat? I don't see any way?
