Orb jar 2 spaces to the left.

Here's something interesting, sound and music turned off on its own and cant bring it back.

sweet. thanks SD

anybody found the map? I found so many things but can't locate it, where it was...

I think I'm stuck right now. Cant find map, and cant seem to find another key other than red. Have two gems, book, shovel (used), hammer, crow bar, and orb jar.

I found a room that didn't have an arrow attached. In there was the silver key.

Yea! Im in!

hi nokra =D I've found the red, green and blue gem and still searching for the map

yellow gem with shovel outside in rain

I'm beginning to think there is no map. I'm pretty far, have five gems and no map.

crowbar used on boarded window for red key

purple gem with flashlight from the first scene all to the right

I'm in the gold key room and there appears to be nothing in there.

green gem with flashlight under the stairs

white gem with flashlight in first room over the start

Hi, guys! I am looking for the place to use the hammer....

LOL... my son is also playing and he can't find the flashlight... I have forgotten where it was... anybody help please =)

Once you collect all 7 gems, spaces appear for them. Cant find the spot for the white gem though.

POP! And out! There was no map, but it was pretty easy to navigate. I'll stick around as long as I can to help.

The hammer was used in I think the silver key room on the machine. I think it gives you red gem.

LOL...I just found the up arrow from the raining yard....lol Got silver key now!

I like the added mystery of NO map! ;-)

please... anybody remember where the flashlight was? its the first escape game for him and he is desperated ;-)

I think it was on a ledge somewhere to the left of the start. I really dont remember :(

Can't find the flashlight. I have the orange gem from the red Lex box

found it =D where the purple key was... same room... right of the typewriter

Sorry about the map! I forgot it, but it's in now. :)

@sabine,TY for the flashlight! I was looking all over for it!!!
...now, can someone help with the box in the typewriter room? I don't see any clue yet!

YAY!!!!! Thanx Sabine for the link!!!

i miss the orb ding :(

Yay, a Self-Defiant game to wake up this morning! Thanks SD. :)

Going in.

have 6 gems, got into all rooms and stuck! think i am missing a gem.....

YEAH... so glad it is a SD-game as a first one for my son... he always laughed about my addiction to the games..now he is faszinated, too ;-)
Thanks SelfDefiant xD

Argh... Again, my cursor doesn't change on the hot points so I cannot see if there are any. It makes it much more hard!

I'm gonna need help, for sure!

OUT bit only 50 orbs

I didn't take the hot spots out of this one, it could be your browser.

Cant find the spot for the white gem, help

cannot find white gem either.....anyone know where it is?

It was in a side room on the far right. I think it had the wheelchair in it.

Yes SD, I'm sure it's my browser and I don't know why it does that. Sometimes I can see hotspots, sometimes I don't. It's all very mysterious for me. :)

For now, I can still go through the game by clicking like mad everywhere! lol

I am only missing the green gem....does anyone remember where it was?
Use the flashlight in first room above the start for white gem!

nokra... the green gem is in the leftmost room from the beginning... look with your flashlight

i can not figure out what the trashed room upstairs is for...i have clicked everywhere...i found the gem under the stairs but i dont understand the room

does anyone know where the hint for the levers are?

Green gem is in 2 rooms left of start...use flashlight!

I didn't know you were still there, @sabine TY!
....lolol I made #43 on the leaderboard! lolol

Phew, I got out with (almost) no help! Is anyone making a walkthrough?

I finished with 60 orbs. The orb meter looks big enough for 100, but there's no way I missed 40 of them! I'm guessing that was all of them and he just didn't change the meter.

where is the gold key?

white gem goes in D

help! I can't find Gold or Green keys!

I have all Gems, but cant' find where to put yellow and purple ones. I still can't get into 2 rooms. is it buggy? need 2 more keys gold and green

Where is the clue for the box in H?

To follow this walk-through it is important that you collect the map!
First go left 1 time to collect the map this room is labelled room D on the MAP.
Next go to room A to acquire the SACRED JAR (which enables you to collect orbs if you didn't know)
Next make your way to room M. Once there get the SHOVEL( in the left hand corner)
Then make your way to the room labelled E. Once there collect the CROWBAR and use the SHOVEL by selecting the SHOVEL and clicking just before the bottom arrow, By doing this you will obtain the YELLOW GEM.
Next go to room G and use the crowbar on the boarded up window to obtain the RED KEY.
To use the RED KEY go to room E where you will find the door that is opend by the RED KEY.
then go to room J and collect the HAMMER.
then Go to room N. in room N there are 3 doorways that you need to click to enter. in the first room (the one closest to the bottom arrow) you will obtain the SILVER KEY located on the window sill.
in the second room you will find the BOX CLUE you should memorise this or write it down so you do not forget. in the last room there are just a couple of orbs.
Then go to room H and click the box next to the typewriter this is where you need the BOX CLUE. click the boxes untill it is like the BOX CLUE (w=white B= black G=green)
W G B
G B W
G W G by Typing this you should get the RED GEM.
Then use the SILVER KEY on the SILVER DOOR to the left of the room.
In the new room use the HAMMER on the tip of the machine to obtain the PURPLE KEY in this room you will also find the FLASHLIGHT.

Finally escaped!! Thanks SD for another great game!

As per typical, I get interrupted with guests, during a live one! *sigh* Anyways, for the first time in an absolute AGE, I managed to get out without any clues at all!! True I did only get 58 orbs though LOL! THANX SD!!

Next go to room L and use the PURPLE KEY and collect the SCREWDRIVER from the window sill on the far right of the room.In room O use the FLASHLIGHT to obtain the GREEN KEY. Then go to room P to get in use the GREEN KEY.
From there click on the box on the wall.
(if you collected the BOOK from the room with the wheelchair then use the BOOK and match the symbols in the order that they are in on the book pages.
Once you have opend the box by using the order S with circles on the end, eye, Male symbol with 2 arrows , Y with a line through it , cicle arrow thing , female symbol (sorry about my horrible description)
once you enter this in you will obtain the GOLD KEY. use the GOLD KEY to enter Room Q.
Go to Room A and use the FLASHLIGHT to obtain the GREEN GEM. gO TO rOOM D and use the FLASHLIGHT to obtain the PURPLE GEM.use the FLASHLIGHT in room F to get the WHITE GEM.
then go to room M and put the lever's on the box in the order 3 5 6 by doing this you will get the ORANGE GEM.
Then go to ROOM J and use the SCREWDRIVER to obtain the BLUE GEM.

All you have to do now is put the gems in the gem slots
ROOM P - PURPLE GEM
ROOM J - RED GEM
ROOM A - ORANGE GEM
ROOM D - WHITE GEM
ROOM H - GREEN GEM
ROOM M - bLUE GEM
and finally ROOM Q - YELLOW GEM

and all that because of that darn lover - who sure hasn't heard the end of it lolol

My turn now! A narrative of the latest from Selfdefiant...

The Asylum Variable

Well, that party was a disappointment—to understate it. I come upon an abandoned asylum—a little investigation is sure to lift my mood. But, what’s this? Oh, dear—trapped again.
I believe I will start this one with a left turn.
Hmm… not much here but some pretty purple orbs onto which I can’t seem to hold on… I wonder what’s to the left of here…
Huh—a pretty jade urn… Another orb! I’ll catch you this time! When I try, the orb is sucked from my hands into the urn… Honestly, I should have seen that coming… It’s kind of dark, and even my excellent night vision can’t pick up on everything in these places. Back to the right, then.
I catch all the orbs here, briefly revel in my small victory, then continue upwards.
Yay! Rain! I do so love rain. I’m slightly surprised to find myself outside, but… oh, well. Oh—a crowbar. That’ll come in handy at some point, I’m certain. I gather more orbs—it just does not get dull watching them get sucked into the bottle like Jafar at the end of the Agrabah level in Kingdom Hearts—then move up again… Only, the door is locked. Back to the entry, then.
I imprison the ors her, but—seeing little other option—decide to turn right.
I discover a dead end… but, more prisoners for my urn and a map! Well, back left, then up.
More orbs, but… Hmm… I thought I saw something glittering under the radiator, but I’m not certain I want to blindly stick my hand under there… The door up is locked, so I turn right.

Hmm… Boarded-up spaces are always suspicious. Luckily, I have a crowbar! I remove the barrier to reveal a red key! I make another right turn.
I find it very difficult to resist thieving this glorious typewriter… Focusing again, I see a locked file box with a square grid on top nearby. Well, moving on… Sadly, the door to the right is locked, so I must move back left and then up.
Hmm… Another dead end. But, hey—there’s a shovel. A locked box, also—levels code… It seems this little safe belongs—er, belonged—to someone named Lex… I pause, contemplating a Superman joke, but shake it off and head back outside.
After digging up most of the yard, I finally find a yellow gem. Pocketing it, I unlock the door and re-enter the building.
I stumble upon a creepy wheel chair with a book on it. I never can resist investigating a book… Odd… most of the pages only have strange symbols, and one has an unusual letter-number code… Pondering this, I turn left.
There’s a conspicuous bathtub here. Is there something sparkling in the drain? I can’t reach it now, sadly, having no way to remove the cover and investigate… Oh, look—a hammer. I get to smash something again. Hooray! I move back one room and head up.
This corridor must have been the housing quarters for the patients. The first room has a silver key, but I’m too curious about the rest of them to go dashing off to open any doors. The second room has a strange pattern of Xs on the wall… It reminds me of the box by the typewriter… The last room I see that has anything in it has… not much, really… Back in the hall, the door up is locked, and the key I have won’t fit…
I return to the typewriter room and, on a hunch, use the Xs to open the file box. Inside I find a red gem. Next, I unlock the door to the right.
A flashlight… with working batteries! What luck! I hit the conspicuous pipe with my hammer and knock out a purple key! I backtrack three rooms and unlock the door leading upwards.
Ah, the trusty and versatile screwdriver. I pause, then shine the flashlight about (I again pause to think of my British acquaintances—shine the torch about). Finding nothing, I move on.
Stairs and a locked door are all I find here. With a sigh and a hunch, I backtrack twice.
I shine the light under the radiator to see a white gem. Suddenly, I remember Lex’s box, so I turn right then move up.
I check the code in the book and use the name to shift levels, numbering from the bottom. Clicking the button on the side, an orange gem pops out of the bottom slot.
What next…? I guess I’ll just run about with the flashlight to see what I’ll find…
Back by the stairs, I find a green key. However, it does not fit this door…
At the first dead end—to the right of the entryway—I find a purple gem.
In the dead end to the far left—where I discovered the urn—I illuminate a green gem.

I unlock the door beyond the housing corridor to find an… interesting paint job… Hmm… Is that a lock box on the wall? These symbols remind me of those in the book. I adjust the box symbols accordingly, open the box, and obtain the gold key. Back to the stairs!
There does not seem to be much of anything here. I pause to contemplate my situation… and realize I’ve not used the screwdriver anywhere… I then remember the bathtub drain.
I use the screwdriver to open the drain and find the blue gem!
I straighten, looking up to see a place to set the red gem in the wall.
Setting the final gem, I feel a sort of shockwave of energy which seems to radiate from… the front door! I pause only to snatch the fabulous typewriter, then dash back to the entryway, and…
Freedom! With every escape/freedom cliché from the mass media running through my mind, I run off into the… uh… dawn, I suppose… or early morning, at least…

(And, for those who may be wondering, yes-- that was a math joke from an English major. Also, I do indeed have excellent night vision.)
