got a thread from that yellow blanket and the paper click - but cant undo the bolts over his feet
just keep on clicking on them with the paperclip

@SwissMiss, I'm missing the cup between green and purple
I think the "thread" is heavy rope
I keep trying to use the bleach and peroxide on the dirty cup with no success (in the closet)

@MaryD, you have to get out of the rope, then take paperclip from the note to get out of the bolts.
now found a hook on hatstand and a bucket
I'm guessing the note by the closet door gives red-black-gold/yellow and are for the safe, but the only numbers I have are yellow and purple.
Am getting really annoyed at the hand/magnifier switching!
Horrid navigation. Keep getting that rope stuck to my cursor. Still missing a cup I think.

found a 3-digit box and a 7 digit box but stuck

Giving up I think. Got the walking stick stuck to my cursor, only got rid of it by 'viewing' it, and it informed me it was a 'nice smelling bar of soap' LOL.
Oh got it stuck again and it has admitted this time it's a crowbar...

if you are stuck with some of item on the cursor - click hand
if items get stuck - just click on the hand again
Sorry, the walking stick was a crowbar, from the drawer. The ice will come out of the freezer if you poke it with the dart.
When things stick to your cursor, you have the click the "hand".
I only have 5 cups: dirty, yellow, green, purple, and black.
one can put something on the little table next to freezer but have not got the item yet
I know about clicking back on the hand - but some things just won't come off the cursor.

Which drawer -- I got a cup from one next to the bed, and the rest are locked.

You can brush the rubber duckie in the closet, for whatever good that does.
Something stuck down under the mat but can't get the glue remover to get it! Have tried everything on that glue remover.

No Swiss Miss, in the bottom drawer of the wardrobe thing - I think you have to get it open with the dart, there is a crowbar and a pice of soap I can;t take.
Finally found 7-digit safe (under tall chest)
Sorry, not the soap - it's a bottle of medecine. You have to zoom twice on the drawers to open them I think.
It's a useless crowbar anyway. Won;t smash any of those stuck drawers and doors!
Here's where my cups so far are from:
dirty cup -bed stand
black cup = yellow bin
yellow cup - green jacket on coatrack
green cup - gray laundry basket
purple cup - clothes closet (3rd garment from left)

Anyone use the hook yet? Have tried to fix the rope to it but am told it would mess it up. It's a naggy sort of game...
Some cups have numbers on them (seen with magnifier). Navigation is certainly cumbersome.

Numbers on cups don't seem to be for the 3-digit box, but maybe I'm wrong.
How did you heat the dart???
Other peeves: why worry about messing things up if you're trying to escape a kidnapper? (I'd be using that crowbar to break through the wall or door!) And he has good taste? When all his clothes are red and green?!
Maybe heat with matches, which are in closet, but I can't pick them up.

just get blue cup under the mat with glued dart...
yay .. progress .. after heating pin, you can remove heat block from fridge with the crowbar and use it on the table next to the fridge

I'be been playing this game for around an hour now and all I've achieved is a pot of hot water LOL. And I only got that with a lot of help!
just cleaned up dirty cup with soapy brush and got one number in it...
Having trouble with the 3-digit code. I've tried combinations of what I think it should be, but nothing is working.
Cups + lamp code seem to have code for the 7-digit box.
What colour is poison? Can't get that 3-digit box open..

@bagus: I am guessing poison is green, but I don't see a number on the green cup. If poison is black, then maybe I have the honey color wrong, but I still can't open the box.
@Unknown: how to open the tall cb? Dart and crowbar won't do the job.

@guru and @bagus: thank you, this information is helping. It's late for me, I've been at this for over an hour now, and I'm getting frustrated. This is probably one of my all-time unfavorite escape rooms at this point. :(

For the 7-digit code, the lamp provides the color order (clockwise). The numbers are on the cups as discussed earlier.
@catqueen: brush is on top shelf of closet (door near the poem). Brush is behind rubber duckie.
Ok, I'm stuck. Can't take the hot plate from the refridgerator. It seems that I've loosened it, but I can't touch. I think that I need to melt the ice to clean the cup with the water and the soap?

Stupid me! I thought the white door was the End door. But it's just a closet. Found brush now and have soap from 3 digit box (thx guru). Missing 1 cup. And I must say the colors on the lamp are terrible to see.

Aaargh! I SWEAR I tried to take that pinkish stuff from the coat hanger a bazillion times and it didn't work. Got the ovenmit now!!

Like I said it's very pixely. Go hatch open with key and after a thousand times finally got rope on hook near window. Click point of hook or it won't stay on.

Once you've opened the hatch with a key, attach rope to hook to get out.

How were we to know poison is green?
The BLACK bottle in the closet said it might be poison.
I guess maybe you're in a house and the bad guy is elsewhere in the house? (to answer my earlier peeve with the "plot")

You have a choice of languages at the beginning. (I didn't test the rest)
There are some challenging puzzles to solve
Unfortunately, many of these are either pixel hunts or strange ways the writer wants you to do things
You have two cursor modes -- read tutorial after you pick your language
(I didn't notice the bit about the hand turning blue when I first played)
Beginning
You're tied in the corner of a room and bolted to the floor
Fortunately, your captor flunked his knots class
Pull the loose end of the rope to remove it
Look at the note and take the PAPER CLIP
Use paper clip on the bolt -- now you're free to explore the room
Take the rope -- it's a good strong rope
Go right to the bed scene
Play with the right pillow until you get a RED CUP
Check out the bedstand on the left
The lamp has a color clue inside
The bottom drawer has a dirty cup
Look in the yellow bin on the right
Digging through the trash, find a BLACK CUP
Go right to poem scene
Note poem on the wall
Try the door -- it's unlocked and a closet
Admire the captor's clothes and find a PURPLE CUP (3rd from left)
Note there's something on the shelf (upper right)
Click to see shelf
Of all the items, the only one you can take is the BRUSH (behind the duck)
(optional: brush the duck)
Note the 3-digit safe box
Back out of closet and go right
Look at the green jacket
Check the pockets and take a YELLOW CUP (lower right)
Take a mitten
Take upper hook
Look under mat and see something glued to the floor
Go right
Take lower DART from mouse picture
Rummage through the laundry basket to find a GREEN CUP
Go right to tall cupboard scene
Note glue remover stuck to the floor
Look under cabinet and click loose board
A 7-digit safe box drops out
Use dart on upper drawer for a CROWBAR
Go right
Note locked chute and window
Go right to refrigerator scene
If you click the very top of the refrigerator, you'll find a hot spot
Use the crowbar, then the mitten to remove the HOT ELEMENT
Open top compartment
Use the dart to take the ICE
Open the bottom compartment and take the POT
Zoom on top of table
Put hot element on table (use glove, kind of clunky)
Place pot on element, then ice (which melts)
Use dart on element to heat the tip
(this is the last scene)
Walkthrough Part 2
Take hot dart and dip in the glue remover (why?)
Use this to soften the glue under the door mat to take a BLUE CUP
(That foam mat must be REALLY thick to hide a cup!)
Looking at cups.
You can't use the hand on the cups, only the magnifier.
Each cup (except the dirty one) has a number on one of the 4 views: inside, bottom, front, back)
(left to right in inventory)
Red (inside)
(dirty)
Yellow (front)
Green (back)
Blue (back)
Purple (front)
Black (bottom)
Solve the poem, then use the related numbers to open the box in the closet

Get a bar of SOAP
Use soap in water pot, then brush
Look at dirty cup, then use soapy brush on it
You can now find the orange color (inside)
Return to the color clue in the lamp:

Use the cup numbers to open the 7-digit safe

Take the key
Use the key on the chute cover
Place the hook above the window
With the chute door open, you can attach the rope to the hook and make your escape!
