ok stuck...have sword and apple. cant get past monsters in the city and cant open the treasure chest....found like a robot and opened it but obviously i need to put something in there like some kind of battery?? who knows :)

yes same casual, maybe there is some kind of order or using a different weapon

Hi all. I have sword, apple(used), staff, canister(used on robot), and key and stuck.
finished the game. short, but sweet.

you have to rescue the guy in the lake, he'll break the chest open, if I remember correctly

I've read all the comments twice and can't figure out how or where the sword is. The cat raises a stick, but just shrugs shoulders. I can't get any further. All anyone says above is that they "did" things in the beginning, and then started giving hints later on in the game. I can't move beyond the cat raising the stick. Frustrating. I quit.

Thanks...that was easy, once you know you can do anything else but get punched out by these head-tilting zombie guys.
Zoe don't feel stupid -- I too was irritated by these folks and then never entered the scene with the church again, so I couldn't find the sword.
Now that's a weird game!
