hey! so far 2 keys from board, chimney lamp, green flask, lighter & pin from basin

placed chimney lamp and flask on counter in 1st scene

pin used on cupboard with h2o and calcium. calcium can also be placed on counter

got pin from the water box ..used it on glass cb ...put the Ca & green fluid beaker on the table

there is also keys behind blackboaard

and lightned chimney lamp. stuck now with another key and water. anyone else playing?

hey raasti!
hammer in bottom center of 1st scene

and a periodic table

tumbler from left cupboard in 1st scene (use hammer)

aLSO got hammer ,litmus paper ,periodic table

book from left drawer (view where green flask was) --> litmus paper inside

periodic table goes on blackboard

periodic table on board

place tumbler on the left of water beaker & pour H2o from your inventry

& dip litmus paper in it to get code for cb

it doesn't matter in which scene I am, the pipet is stuck on middle right of screen. can't take it back...

get tong ,test tube & pipette ..place all the thing near the chimney & you will get hint for final code

and out after simple maths :)

hello Casual are you out or still struggling with pipet ?

Hi raasti, where did you put the water? On the table beside the green liquid and the Ca?

POP, place the tumbler on the other table, the one with the wash basin...

@ escapism there is beaker with water in 1st scene you will put blue glass there & then pour water in it from your inventry

yeah, had to restart. out now, too. thanks

@raasti: water goes on front table in 1st scene

& blue glass is Tumbler

Thanks, raasti, found it, out now too!

Some quick spoilers:

4 digit number: SPOILER6666SPOILER

3 digit number: SPOILER20x17=340SPOILER

it's either Gate Escape or this ?? anything between ??

Even though I had already looked at the periodic table, several times.....I had to look at it again after getting the clue from steam, before code would work on the door.....
They can sometimes be a little annoying...but I like these games! ;-)

Cant find the spot where to use hammer. Help please.

(BTW, it always confuses the hell out of me when people speak of 'first scene' and 'second scene'. In my WTs I normally avoid this term and say "in the scene with the grandfather clock", because numbering is ambiguous.)

FINALLY I got it!!

That so-called "first scene" was the rear wall where you picked up the calcium. There is a cabinet left of where you picked it up which you can smash with the hammer.

I hope this was a less confusing explanation this time.

I keep trying to place things on that counter but it just won't let me.

Oops, I was trying on the wrong counter...

I'm giving up, I can't find anything. I don't see any periodic table, or any litmus paper, I'm stuck with a stupid key that doesn't open anything.

Point taken, walkthrough comin'up. Hopefully it's worth the trouble at all, because for the gross of people, everything below the 2nd page is as old as yesterday's newspaper.

ESCAPE FROM CHEMISTRY LAB - 123bee

{"editorial"}
Finally there's a nice new game from 123bee, which does deserve the game 'pleasant' and gladly does not follow the overused "disturb some object at the ceiling by smashing it with some object or animal (e. g. a bird) that messes about at the ceiling, causing something to fall down" principle. Neither will you have to collect stupid puzzle pieces here. Instead, you are locked up in a chemistry lab and you will, of course, have to mess with some test tubes and/or chemical agents (Thank goodness no secret agents, which is already a comfort!)

Enough talking, let's start the experiment...(in the truest sense of the word)

{ lab }

Zoom left of #1 of the two pitch-black WASH BASIN (the one closest to you, half-concealed by the ever-perfectly working inventory bar) and get the HAMMER lying next to it.
Zoom out, zoom inside WASH BASIN #2 (the one in the middle of the screen) and pick up the PIN off the bottom.
Zoom on the CENTER WORKBENCH and get the CONICAL FLASK (with green liquid), leaving the other alone, it's useless.
Go left to ...

{ office }
Swinging around the BLACKBOARD on the wall will reveal two keys, KEY #1 and KEY #2.
- HINT: Doesn't the blackboard look a bit too 'empty' to you??
So let's check out the desk so we can get rid of this insane weight those keys are imposing on us. (Not?) Anyways, unlock the left middle drawer of the OFFICE DESK and get yourself a LIGHTER. OK you got the delinquent now, but delinquents need a victim, don't they! You find it in the right middle drawer - a BUNSEN BURNER (called "chimney lamp" in the game). Also pick up KEY #3.
Back to the right hand side to the ...

{ lab }
Use KEY #3 on MIDDLE BOTTOM CABINET at the location where you picked up the hammer. (I'm going to leave this for you guys as my little brain challenge, by letting you figure out that location.) You'll find KEY #4 and a PERIODIC TABLE MAP. (You can see that it's all coiled up, so you won't see much unless you go and attach it somewhere, huh?)
Zoom on the REAR WORKBENCH (with a lone flask with light blue liquid standing on it) and open the upper left drawer with KEY #4. You'll get a BOOK (looks like a cell phone opened up in your inventory). Click on the BOOK, inspecting it more closely. Turn pages "the Japanese way" (from back cover to front cover) and you should find a LITMUS PAPER. [ADD. NOTE: A litmus paper is used in chemical experiments for testing acidity---a.k.a. pH value---, so in layman's terms, it would turn all red if you dipped it into your salad dressing (due to the vinegar) and all blue if you dipped it into some soapsuds.]
Zoom out, so you can see the whole lab again. The second last from the 8 cabinets on the rear wall will be your next target. Zoom on it, think you're a burglar, picking the lock with your PIN and ... hey presto! get the CALCIUM BOTTLE and the WATER BOTTLE. (An extra thanks goes to the maker for explaining to us that H2O is water! I would probably not have been able to finish the WT without this information. Hey, for real!) Zoom out, and now zoom into the center part of the cabinets. Use the HAMMER on the cabinet with a kind of light shade (or dust?!) on it and get the TUMBLER.

Next to come will be the preparation part, so get your hands clean and let's go to work!

{ lab - PART 1 - center workbench/table }
(Note: a certain order appears to be mandatory. It may even be a fixed order "hardcoded" by the programmer.)
Put BOTTLE WITH WATER and TUMBLER on the table. Click WATER BOTTLE and it will automagically pour (excuse me: "decant") into the TUMBLER. Put the LITMUS PAPER into the liquid and you can see a number code. Wow!
Head left to ...

{ office }
Use code on TALL CABINET, get the TEST TUBE, the PIPET and the pair of TONGS.

Go right, back to

[PART 2]

{ lab - rear workbench/table }
Put CONICAL FLASK (w/green liquid), the BUNSEN BURNER and the CALCIUM BOTTLE on the rear workbench. Light the BUNSEN BURNER with your lighter. Now add the TEST TUBE, the TONGS (holding you(r) tube in place) and finally the PIPET. You will automatically cause some of the solid (?) calcium to be given into the flask with green liquid (hydrochloric acid?) and get a CLUE FOR PERIODIC TABLE.

Back to

{ office }
Attach PERIODIC TABLE MAP onto blackboard and combine the clue you just got with the numbers you see. (Solution below.)

Go right twice to ...

{ elevator / exit }
Enter code and ESCAPE!

Warning: solutions ahead. Don't read them if you want to think yourselves (if you can)

SOLUTIONS (in a nutshell, really not worth the trouble to give long explanations)

- tall cupboard - 6666
- exit - 340 ('Ca' (calcium) is 20, 'Cl' (chlorine) is 17, and the clue said Ca X Cl, so multiply them and that's that)
