i'm around raasti but nothing much to say ! :D just used the antenna to get the orange circle above !

@ nokra Eaddict explain it just open antenna & grab it ...

so wht to do next ?

I entered an alcove by clicking a couple of things....thought I died...but didn't ...Not a clue what I am doing....lol

I cannot view the items to open the antenna!

POP...the stupid "about item " is off the page!
I made the game fit my screen and didn't see it!

finally nokra you made some progress but im still clicking & clicking .........

it's a tough one for me i admit it ! :D

Yep...thanks...I am giving up now....can't make any sense of this game...definitely language or something barrier .....lol

me too giving up definitely some barrier ...3 smart people are saying that ..must be something wrong with game ;)

lol yeah i think it's a something barrier nothing to do with language ! :D damn it not even a way to start !

i'm just trying to figue out the relation between the symbols next to the elevator with the same ones on the box !! NOTHING AT ALL ! n to make it worse we need two different SD ! lol

You are close E-Addict. Find the symbols. Start with the first one and (in your mind) draw a line to the next one. Along that line you will cross a > or <. Find them all and you have directions to give the boat.

Anyone still playing? Thanks szarra for the hint on the boat! Now I was able to obtain another ring and a wooden lid from the boat cabinent. No idea what to do now

after giving directions to the boat open the closet and take wooden stuff. Put blank paper on the pot foe clues

       Anonymous  9/16/12, 3:19 PM

Flip the lid and stop the throwing stars! :)

Place wooden lid in right green thing inside the little room to catch the shuriken.

use the wooden thing on the right side of the ninja stars, take the ninja stars. Use code on paper for a green circle

use ninja stars on pedestal for a clue of the clock

I've got everything but the clock -- the hint isn't working for me and I need that pink ring

I swear I had tried that szarra! Haha thanks

Philomena - Look carefully at the shuriken. Ignore the blue and green.

look at the big hand of one of the ninja stars, so put the big hand on the clock on that position

Used the paper in the water and gave clue for the blue slider puzzle after catching stars. That gave green ring

the color code was tricky, but fun

what boat? where did you get a boat?

At evans, zoom in on the picture on one of the closet doors. You will see a picture of a boat that needs to get to the island

I can't get the clock code still. Been lookin at the ninja star and trying all sorts of combinations. Not sure what I'm doin wrong

For the clock key, one of the shuriken has a longer part, think of that part as the longest pointer in the clock

For the clock, look at the smallest and the bigest
arrow

I can not affect the boat on the closet, I have a go button and left and right arrows but they don't do anything.

Sebas, are you there ? can you give a hint for colors please ?

I now think I understand the clue from @szarra...but nothing happens!

For boat ....

RLRRRLRRL

Following the symbols I get LRRLRLRLR...that is from top to bottom....what am I doing wrong, please?

WALKTHROUGH

Go left
Get BANNER and use "about item"
Get BLANK PAPER
Go left twice
Extend the pointer in your inventory
Click the window and use the pointer to get an ORANGE RING
Click the mat to get a COLOR CODE
Click the strip of symbols to get a clue for the boat puzzle
Go right three times
Note the screws on the door need both a flat and phillips head to remove
Click the tablet and use the symbols to get a pattern for the boat puzzle
Go right three times and solve the boat puzzle (solution at bottom). Enjoy the animation that indicates that despite paddling on either side of the boat the little man continues to move in a straight line
Open the closet
Get the GREY RING
Click on the pot to get the ROUND TABLE THING, you can examine it and turn it around in "about item"
Select the BLANK PAPER and put it in the water to get a HELPFUL NOTE
Go left three times and go up the shaft
Place the ROUND TABLE THING on the right hand side, covering the shuriken shaft
Click on the orange podium and thwart the rather juvenile anti-theft system
Click on the ROUND TABLE THING and collect the RUINED TABLE
Remove the SHURIKENS from the RUINED TABLE
Click on the orange podium and use the HELPFUL NOTE to solve the puzzle (solution below)
Collect the GREEN RING
Back out and go left
Click on the spindle on the short tower
Place the RED TIPPED SHURIKEN and rotate the arrows to align with the red triangle
Do the same for the BLUE and GREEN
This gives you a hint for the clock
Go right three times
Click on clock (solution below)
Solve the clock puzzle using the previous clue, and straight up guessing
Open the window under the clock face and use the exacto knife to get the PURPLE RING after an unnecessary slicing animation
Go right three times
The wall face now has both eyes glowing, so click his nose to open his mouth
Get the TEAL RING
Collect the HUNK OF WALL FACE MOUTH from the ground and turn it over for a clue to the PASTEL OLYMPIC RING PUZZLE
Solve the puzzle and push the button
Go left three times and click the glowing DRIVER circle
SHADOW GHOST SAMURAI will appear and some blah blah will happen
Go left
Use the SHADOW GHOST SAMURAI from your inventory on the screws on the door
He will open it, and provide you with your next set of tools for the next installment of the series (or for helping you put some shelves up, who knows)

PS anyone who knows how to get the time for the clock please post!

BOAT PUZZLE:
Starting at the bottom symbol follow the pattern on the stone tablet to get an order for the left/right directions on the puzzle. Hit > < > > > < > > < and then Go

ORANGE PODIUM:
Follow the note in numerical order, click middle left, upper left, middle right, bottom middle, upper right, and then the middle blue dot

CLOCK PUZZLE:
The left side dial needs to be clicked until the sliver of sun is on the right side, in the second position. With random guessing I found out the time is 11:10

PASTEL OLYMPIC RING PUZZLE:
The colors on the HUNK OF WALL FAcE MOUTH correspond to the COLOR CODE. There's even a handy arrow to help. So the first line is blue slanting down to the right, find the blue square and then see that there is an orange on the left and a grey on the right of it. So the orange ring goes upper left and the grey goes down and to the right of it. Follow this pattern to get (from left to right on the top: orange, green, blue, then bottom row: grey, pink.)

@evans, look at previous posts. You have to look at elevator buttons and correlate these with the tombstone thing. Im not too good at explaining this, but follow each symbol from the elevator on the tombstone. In your mind, connect them with straight lines and you will cross arrows (< or >) These will give you the left and right directions to give the boat. Hope that helped some :)

For the colors, look for the primary colors (like on the back of the broken metal piece). Note the colors on either side. (example: yellow has gray and light green.) Start with the colors on either side of blue and put the left color on top and the right color on bottom. The bottom color should be the color left of yellow. And so on. Hope that made sense....

TY @gazoline....lol

I am just living in a L to R /top to bottom world! lolol

@Nokra :))

TY for much needed Wt, @sarah!
my clock stopped at 10:10 ...just in case anyone had a problem.....

wow it's a pleasure playing with u guys ! szarra .. edgar .. seba .. thanx !

trying this one, looks good...

What? A clock with a SCYTHE? :) Could make a nice gimmick for a occultist's birthday, I guess ;P (these guys love everything about death)

yeah many weird things indeed .. a samurai shadow as a multi scredriver !! :D but it includes some interesting puzzles !

I loved the "screwdriver scene". I dare say almost American rather than Japanese (because to me it's more American 'style' to make every unspectacular action a big show)

Great game, whatsoever!
(Even though I hate those "to-be-continued" cliffhangers, lol.)

Thanks for the help with the clock/shurikens and the invaluable hint how to "handle" the tombstone!
That one had caught me in perfectly.

For clock,

Look at the mini tower thingy (where you put the 3 shuriken).. longest spike and shortest spike

can anyone explain how you are getting time for clock ?i placed all shurikens but how to convert that in time ...

oops ok i got my answer after reading mythyr post

i hate to admit but i dont get color hint how you kno which color is on top or bottom .?

@raasti: The hint comes from three (well, seven to be exact) items: The broken "teeth" plate, the color mat, and the five rings.

Flip the plate, and you'll find an "S" which corresponds to the "S" in the "mouth". If you follow the zig-zag part from S, it's like there are four color stripes connecting five points, which corresponds to the five rings.

You can find the four colors from plate in the color mat. Notice that these colors are at the center of the color blocks, while the side colors are from the rings. Think of them as connectors, connecting the colors from the rings from left to right, following the arrow on mat.

Combining all these clues, you get the following visual hint:

S
[1st ring].....[3rd ring].....[5th ring]
......\........../.....\........./
....[blue]..[yellow].[red]....[green]
........\....../.........\...../
.......[2nd ring].......[4th ring]

S
[1st ring].....[3rd ring]........[5th ring]
......\............/.........\.........../
....[blue]..[yellow].[red]....[green]
..........\....../.............\......./
......[2nd ring].......[4th ring]

Sorry for multi posting, thought I should redo the hint to avoid confusion. =[

By the way, wonder if anyone notice the game is influenced by a novel/anime called Fate/Stay Night, and "Driver" is a parody of Miyamoto Musashi, a well-known samurai (for Nitenichi style and book of 5-rings). XD

Thanks a lot for hints and WT but...completely stuck with > <
I can't understand the way to get the good order

@seb:
First look at the symbols next top the elevator, and remember the sequence, following the arrow.

Next look at the stone monument, and locate the corresponding symbols (which has only one for each on the monument). Now, follow the sequence (horizontally, vertically or diagonally), and you should come across the arrows from one symbol to the next.

Visual hint:

C
|\`A
|`\↓````F
↓``B``/
D---→E

@seb --
1. Look at the symbols by the green "elevator" (where the color mat was)
2. Note that the bottom one is an arrow pointing up
3. Starting with the symbol above the arrow and going up, you have:
- a sideways hourglass
- a crescent
- a fat T
- a star
- a pentagon
- an hourglass
4. Look at the "tombstone" in the opening scene
5. Find the symbols in order. The sideways hourglass is in the 3rd row. The crescent is directly below it. Between them is a ">". Then the fat T is diagonally up. Between (in order) is "<", ">"). Continue in this manner to complete the series.

Very difficult game -- Thanks @Sarah Brown for the walkthrough that enabled me to escape to the next room! Otherwise later gamers would have found MY ghost haunting them in this room!

LOL @Shunko Kuda -- 2 explanations. More of us need to learn how to post picture links, which would be very helpful in this case.

*next to

Redrawing hint *sighs*

C

|```\↓````F
↓````B``/
D---→E

@PuzzledinCA: I see, point taken. Will do that for the following picture hints. Need to remember the necessary HTML code I guess, if that's the posting code used here. =d

Retry with your help :) and got it !
Thanks a lot for 2 explanations

thanx Shunko Kudo for explination .......i never consider S the part of hint .thanx again ...
