how to get past the guardian? I've tried giving him the wheat...

@Philomena - you need to make bread. First you need to grind up the wheat somehow, then add water and then bake.
I sort of figured, but haven't found any water yet or the place to bake...
where do I find the water? I can't get past the guardian to the mountains nor are there any other scenes with water
Head back to the witch for water and fire to cook with.
I have clicked everywhere in that scene and nothing, nada zilch

Okay, grind wheat with complete skull, take flask to Grandma to get water, combine water and flour, then bake raw bread on cauldron.

Runes??? I have 2 runes on pedestal after using magic ashes...
I've found four of the runes but there must be more...
That was quick OUT, use the magic dust on objects you need 6 rune symbols to get the book
How do you know you found 4 runes??
one rune on smoke stack, one on tree, two on guardian

Oh, I get it now. Use magic dust on smokestack, tree, guardian and book pedestal. Then enter them in that order to get the book.

How do you grind the wheat the skull won't do it

Join the skull with the bone, then the complete skull with the flour.
Unfortunately, I don't find any water.
Sorry, I meant the complete skull with the wheat.

im stuck already found a flower,spade,empty flask,soil,placed soil and flower in cauldron cant seem to do nothing else
ok filled flask used on tree
used spade below tree see skull but cant seem to do nothing else,tried spade every where,water not doing nothing
picked up amulet and skull but not enough clues here wat to do next.help please
now i can get past tree tried loads of times now i can
and out symbols at end were tricky as ther were small
i cant pass the tree ..i hav skull ,flask filled with water
