  1. well, I clicked on the blue button with 3 stars instead of the green button with 1 star. I hope that wasn't a choice between easy and hard!

  2. Hmmm, semms like a MLPG (Major Language Problem Game) to me. The only thing I can do is to look at the picture/tv with the dancing man and choose several choices in japanese/chinese...

  3. I don´t get this game at all, big language barrier i guess. Will have to skip thisone.

  4. LOL zoz, I clicked the 3 stars as well...

  5. japanese writings - middle
    date - top
    8000

  6. The only thing I found out so far that the answer with 8000 seems to be right. Bruteforcing...

  7. I got that too @Megi! But what did getting the right answers do???

    ReplyDelete
  8. impossible to play!!!!

  9. And the 8-12-15 seems to be right. Dunno what happens though...

  11. in second room now (the door to the right of the door with fish) and I've got more questions to guess! @escapism, I agree: MLPG

  12. Ah, one of the doors opens...

    ReplyDelete
  13. everytime you answer a question correct another door opens

I have two other rooms open now just by random guessing

    ReplyDelete
  14. LOL zoz, yes MLPG! In the other room now too, same game: click 290, then twice middle (I think), plus got a number on the back of the chair...

  15. Number opens third door

  19. Out too. Guessing game...

  20. Ok, think I understood one thing: You only have to guess one of the solutions, then you can open the next door (Jo-Ann said that earlier, but I understood it wrong and tried to answer every question right)

  21. @zoz&all: concerning the stars: I'm playing the 1 star version, and it is the easy one, there are some riddles missing (no fishes, no number needed for the blue door so no hint on the chaie, no maths etc...)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Anyone get the blue door (with the shapes) yet?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I haven't found the clue for it yet

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ok, soloquizing here, so by all... ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Andrea: just count the corners of the shapes and do the math.

  26. Ah, couldn't see your posts, Andrea, weird...

Look at my spoiler from 9:01... Or Casuals spoiler. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Andrea: You have to solve the riddle first, then the picture moves so you can see the hint with the math...

    ReplyDelete
  28. maybe it's a good game if you understand japanese, but the fact that we could all get out by guessing kind of argues against that. I'm giving it one star.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thanks escapism, casual -- but where did 1497x265 come from?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't think the developer should be punsihed with one star, only because we don't speak japanese. on the other side it would even be easy if it was in english...but nice graphics: 2 stars!

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Andrea: as I wrote above, the hint appears when you solved one of the guessing riddles on the screen. Then turn around, and you can move the picture (when I remember it right...)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Which riddle?
Actually, my blue door buttons don't click so I apparently haven't solved it yet

    ReplyDelete
  33. Andrea: did you see the shape hint escapism mentioned before?

    ReplyDelete
  34. OK, I'm obviously lagging here lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. I assume you're meaning the stone thing with the yellow button below. Hmm, I thought I got through all the questions on the screen opposite. Will try again.

    ReplyDelete
  36. OK, got the screen now and opened the stone thing thanks

  38. Out! Thanks for the help!

  39. Replayed it and so a correction to my hints above: it is not a picture that moves but the stone wall moves when you pushed the knob, then you can see the shapes hint.

  40. Personally, this wouldn't be considered as an EG. The main objective for this game is to get people to know Tokushima of Japan better through quizzes, and they put in a little EG element for normal difficulty.

In level selection, 1 star is easy (quizzes only) while 3 stars is normal (quizzes + puzzles).

Below are answers (visual spoilers?) for each batch of quizzes, hopefully able to help escapers to focus on puzzle-solving. Just answer one corrrectly will do for each.
