Star is on one of the wall draped things - right hand side - keep trying to zoom.
use bottle on Santa and set him free
get the key to the door on right zoomed in on wall paper (scene with door)
how do you break the bottle?

the key is on top zoomed in of corner. keep clicking around for it. the bottle is broken on the blue table in door scene. takes a couple tries
found thread - just wave bottle at blue table-zoomed in - door view
ok i broke the bottle, do you mean in the same view where you get the star for the key?
got key for desk drawer in bed (use bottle)
@wityblack i guess so. still cant find the star. the key is towards the bottom in that view

it was a bug, it worked when i restarted it
wahoo! well now im stuck with a gift bag, thread, presents and star
you can zoom in to the top right corner in the tree room, but i can't seem to get anything from it
it looks as though it is another bug, where i am supposed to get a key
yeah i noticed that too. you can zoom in on the door too but cant get anything. i guess you need a key for that part

Out, but never opened the cupboard!
Put 7 presents in bag from desk, wrap with string, give to santa. then look at star in inventory to get key.
Restarted 2 times but still no key. Was looking in the same view where I got the star.
Clickerdy click...don't like it so I quit.

Just click on it in inventory.
