there's a number sequence above one of the boxes - I think we have to complete it and enter the 4 digits

nokra u put them in the box where's there's a light flashing
count the first and second number and look at the second row... than seceond an third number... and so on

Well, I sure wish I had a screwdriver! I have no idea for the grid puzzle!
Wandernde I can see in the walls the numbers 3556
There is 356 in large print on the level 1 walls...but that doesn't go on the grid, does it?

I tried that...and where are you getting 9 from...I see 3556....help!
escape girl after drawing a number you have to press the yellow button ( u have to do that with every numbr u draw).
If u get it right a light will turn on

I can't get on the ladder?
nokra go to scene where u can see the 6, then look left.. u'll see that it's not a 5 because it's "back" is closed

I'm trying to get the code to the left of stairs in level 2 right but I don't know the order...
WOW! I have been working on the dials for a while...I got the orientation correct, I think....but the lights are killing me...I even have the game zoomed very large and still can't get those, anyone can do a screenshot?
NINI....I make it N when you get on level 2, right...that would make the one to the right E, then S, then W?

I now see I was turned around....so I tried what I saw in the east dial on the left one...still didn't work...I am hopeless here! lol
What happens when you get it right? I don't know , but I have tried each one in all of them and nothing happens!
Hi guys - is there something we have to do first to make the dials work? Even with the screen shot, I can't seem to get them open
if you open them, the wires are swapped around.
East and West straightforward, but in South one of the wires is missing
nokra don't forget to click center every time

Got it! Nokra, press the buttons on the right panel of letter in the right order to activate the dials
Also, South dial keeps closing on me - although I suspect something would need to be fixed there
So connected the one wire from south box and now what? What order to push buttons left of ladder?

When u click the 1st correct symbol it stays turned on.. continue doing that
it WAS a bug - so unfair. restarted and now it works

Can't find clue for buttons left of ladder :S
For left panel, you need to trace how the wires are rearranged throughout the three boxes (East, South, West) - need to take notes.
But now the exit is all functioning - all that needs to be done is get those pesky circles right...
What do you think the clues with the circles are for?

Oh, and then input the order you used on the right hand side of the ladder.
so the first one on the right hand side was the second from above, so go around the thee boxes and see where that wire ends up (it ends up the 3rd from above) - so that's the first one you push
Stuck with the exit puzzle - too many circles with too many patterns in them
Lorenzo, with that the order i get (from top to bottom) is 4,3,1,5,2 but it doesn't work

I see a clue between lvl 0 and 1, not btwn 1 and 2. I'm missing one - I think it's the circle with only one line

Not sure I understand the compass clue...
the circle with one line is in the wire box (South)
I'm trying to see which direction each symbol is and then using dial clue on safe door to know the order
i tried the same, but there's no sign in NORTHEAST, which is one of the compass clues...
and there are tow on the northside on level 3
+ and L are in 270º
stripes and diamond are in 90º
z and | are in 180º
X and o are in 0º

Finally after a pause I got those five buttons right and now I have the last puzzle which seems to baffle everyone. Grr.. this irritates me.

When you've seen all 8 symbols in circles (note their directions N, E...), imagine you put them in compass order
------------- N = X and o
W = + and 3H---------E = Diamond and diagonal
--------------S = 12H and sort of Z
you can deduce what is NE
on end door compass shows W NE S N
stage 0 and 1 ladder is South
stage 2 ladder is South to go downstairs and North to go upstairs

use compass on floor to determine symbols directions
level 0, on wall you can see symbol diagonals in right circle= E
on wall you can see symbol 3H in right circle = W
level 0=>1, on yellow triangle you can see symbol Z = S
level 1, on the right of ladder click up to see diamond = E
level 2, when you open south dial, you can see symbol 12H in left circle = S
level 3, click up you can see symbol X = N (ladder is N)
click on yellow triangle where a ladder drawn to see symbol o in right circle = N
on wall you can see symbol + in left circle = W
OK. And now please give the right order.
I'm too tired to go through the symbols once again.
This is a notekeepers nightmare. :D
I also don't get the order of the symbols. I assume the pattern repeats as W NE S N W NE S N, but which symbol goes in the first place and which second has be stumped.

Notice the symbols above the 8 places for the symbols. Its says on 270, 45, 180 and 0. So according the things that you have already explain on the 270 are the symbols + and L. Then for the 45 you have to notice which symbols are close to 45. So its circle and diamond. On the 180 are | and Z and finaly on the 0 degrees are the X and once more the circle. You do not have to use the stripes.

Why does one have to use the circle twice at the gate? That's not obviuous to me at all.
And wile I understand the order of the groups (W NE S N), the order of the individual symbols for N and S does not seem to follow a certain rule. It obviously does for W and NE (circle position).

boy i am impressed with anyone here who figured out anything on level 0! everything i read above makes no sense to me......have fun guys!
I went back in time and played the early games in this series; it started in 2005! #1 is quite good, #s 2 & 3 not so much. They took a long time making this one and it shows! Great graphics, smooth interface, excellent if frustrating puzzles. It is much appreciated.
How do you get on the ladder?
for ladder, in level 0 you have to see hint numbers (above boxes)
complete suite to find 8916
enter 8916 and go 2x right, push button to get ladder
