I'm in!
Yay! Another Ainars.
Help with vertical/horizontal clues please.
I am having a tough time with Vertical/Horizontal thing! Anyone can help?
LOL @jenn...I usually understand these...but something is wonky here....
Just click on the coordinates. The number turns upside down.
stuck in the same spot
thought we would flip over just the 3 numbers, but nope
It doesn't make sense yet....it may never!
There are two papers for code.
@Peggy, I flipped the three, but not working.
What am I missing?
Ahhhh 2 code papers. Now I understand! off to look more
Got if after a few tries. Yes follow coordinates vertical then horizontal and flip that number.
I got both papers...someone spoil it if possible! TY
missed the dirt above the bed
now have SECOND paper lol
vertical / horizontal are coordinates. Top and down numbers.
The two papers have the vertical and horizontal switched. Don't confuse them.
Two papers works sooooo much better! lol
@Nokra if it says H 2 V 3 then find the horizontal line 2 and go over 3
Well...spoiling it would be like the clues..... lol...I finally got it!
Missing 8th paper
Nokra, I thought the same thing. I wanted to spoil it but I would simply repeat what the clues say.
acckk missing code paper #1!
Doh! code paper #1 was still in its safe, forgot to grab it! lol
First in,last out! :D
That took WAY too long! lol
Roberto, 8th paper comes from solving the two color puzzles in first scene.
Out! Phew!
Many thanks Peggy!
OK, got it. There are a total of 6 numbers to flip.
I was confused cos on each paper the horizontal line separating the upper and lower rows didn't go all the way across, so I was trying to figure out how to get an XY out of 3 digits. The only problem is that one set of coordinates isn't possible... so I just swapped, and it worked.
I love Ainars, but wish he wouldn't keep rehashing his old games
Out with no problems but never opened 2 hot spots in the bathroom.
im missing papers 1 and 7 have a blue triangle gawd knows wat thats for
just seen where triangle goes
im out BUT has ainars messed up theres 2 squares in bathroom yet mouse reacts to and a puzzle not opened in scene 3 near door
Well I cant seem to find brush to clean spots...Help Please!
shaz, you DID use those doors. The one over the door gave you the #6 code, the ones in the bathroom, I think, gave you clues to other puzzles. I don't know why the mouse continues to react to them, but it does.
Lisa, the brush is behind the crack in the wall in 1st scene.
OK found it...Out now
Please I don't get the code with H/V, please help!

Thanks Ainars--this is just what I needed tonight!
Sorry, but Ainar´s games are essentially all the same. I think the high rating is undeserved.
It's the familiarity that I like about Ainars games.
still can't fathom the green co-ordinates - i always get confused with numbers - my head is spinning : (
got the right numbers eventually but was too hard!
for anyone that has the same problems
first down column - second number
second down column - top & bottom numbers
third down column - third number
fourth down column - second number
fifth down column - bottom number
sixth down column - no numbers
darn - pressed on the exit arrow by mistake and now can't get back to the game - obviously wasn't meant to be!
souless, there should be an "X" at the bottom of the number pad of the exit door. Press that and then the "X" on the screen where the door is NOT zoomed in. That should get you back to the game without restarting.
Peggy - it's more than famliarity, Ainars is using old games and just changing colours.
@Peggy: I agree so much with you! Ainars is like an old friend!
missred: so what?
I wonder where paper #7 is? Anyone?
Brilliant as usual
pop..found it in the bathroom!
Thanks Ainars!!!
where is the crowbar?
Zoe, if I wanted to play games that I've already played a year or more ago, I wouldn't be on this site looking for new ones.

Dave:
It's the people that play the games who rate them. So, even though you don't think Ainars "deserves" the high rating, the EG gamers obviously don't agree with you!
Dave: Ainars does some terrific games, check out his older ones on his own site, Gongtats, such as Lielpils Castle, the Collapsed House series, Nuclear Experiment - you'll love 'em, guaranteed!
Thank you so much Souless Minion ... never gotten that on my own
Yes thank you Souless Minion I was so stuck on that H/V ...I still don't get it LOL! Still love Ainars games old or new :)
They always confuse HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL. Horizontal is side to side, Vertical is up and down. This game, like all their others, uses the terms incorrectly.
thanks for the hint H/V. Love this games. Thanks Ainars.
