found 3 books, opened some drawers, found part of a number clue and now stuck

There's a key on a hook which opens a cupboard to get you a remote control.
Same here. Also have a remote, but don't know how to use it.
Switch tv on - red button on the actual tv - then use remote.
put flower in a blue vase for a color code.
Out - will look back in a few minutes if you need any more help.

what to do with books
Well...I only found 2 parts of the code, and can't figure out the color code for the black and white chest of drawers. Clickfest...boring.
Theres a bug I think, no flowers except a brief flash when I click on the vase. Had trouble loading it as well.
