Stuck - haven't used the alarm clock and have found the robot thing in the cupboard but don't know what to do with that.
jtcw, you need a toy key for the leg of the robot.

I've turned the chair, and I'm sure the clock must be the clue for that but just can't get it! Feeling very stupid...
jtcw: the clock is not important in this game. There is a clue under monitor. You need to take it to put in the code. Robot gives code for chair.

the clock is a red herring you need the code for the cabinet the clock is on you will get the code for the chair inside
Dont forget to take the key from left curtain.
Catqueen - your clue that we had to TAKE the code rather than just look at it was the was the hint I needed - out now - thanks!

To use robotkey, zoom in on his leg and turn a few times.
I'm clearly being really dull here - have taken the code and got a ring with it. Can't open bottom drawer or find toy key for robot. Can anyone help any further or am I now at the stage where I just need to keep trying?
Have to go now. Hope jtcw will get out too.

I got Robot, now stuck. Have nor key for Robots Leg, no Key for lower drawer... i am missing some keys!!!
O.K. it just was buggy. Reloaded and now out!
Jule - that is exactly my problem! Reloading seems to have no effect though.
I have a silver key from chair, i think, but it doesnt fit the robot's leg nor do i know hwere to use it...

Yay, finally out. The problem was that it was too sunny earlier so I couldn't see one important detail.
Game gets one star because you need to physically take the birthday clue in order to open the drawer.
where do you use the silver key from the chair?

In case someone else is wondering. There's 3 drawers at the desk, close the others to see.

took me a while to realise the book had TWO pages!!
Ring won't go in glass of water so can't get any further despite clues. Not impressed.
