Language barrier doesn't seem to be a problem so far, but I'm stuck at the black/white checkers puzzle. Can't get #1 to stay white.

ok, so the b/w checkers puzzle is actually a small reversi board where the rules of that game apply. start with w and alternate the colors, except for moves 5 and 6, where they both are w.
Finally got it! I'm out.

Crap! Forgot that I didn't do anything with the green/red/blue buttons on the wall. Must have to do with the stars, right?
Where the can opener came from was indeed very funny :)
Btw. imho the hand/foot coloured snakes puzzle was difficult too (kept getting confused between left and right).

Yep the green/red/blue buttons on the wall are about the book. It's just putting the 3 stars on the correct places. But you can only do that after you have opened the door without going out, so the lights go off.

For good end, get doughnut before going out after putting star
stuck at hand/foot puzzle. would be nice for someone to give me a hint for that, instead of just saying it was hard.

You have to see it as the hands of the guy lying down and not from your view. So basically it is when a snake is left it's on the code panel the right hand or foot.
Played again to explain a bit better.
The first two snakes that come up are:
- Blue (hand) top right.
- Yellow (foot) bottom left.
On the code panel that would be:
- Blue (hand) bottom left.
- Yellow (foot) bottom right.
Do all eight snakes/colours (in order they pop up) on the code panel and then click ok.

just needed the Reversi hint (thanks s-t) the rest was not difficult this time.
But I wish Gatamri would go back to his hours-long escape games you had to take a half day off for ... this is a bit sparse.

Just wondered whether I really needed to feed the cats or not.
NO! Got same "starry-sky" ending without feeding the cats nor using the can opener.
So I think there must be a third ending where you actually do need to feed the cats...
Confused here! How do you work out the codes for the safe and the cupboard? Thanks in advance.

I have done - thanks - but no wiser. I reckon the first one is the right hand. I really ought to be better at these games by now. But it's very rare I finish one by myself.
How did you get out without feeding the cats? lol They show you how the Reversi board should look when you finish inputting b/w.

Thanks Szarra - how did you work that out? And I still haven't got that cupboard door open. I should be sorting out my own cupboards, not fretting about virtual ones.

Well, apparently if I use Lizard Rage's hint which contains the correct b/w sequence I can do without the cats scene ;)
minxi - After you remove the staples in the book, click the right arrow to turn the page and you should see the monkeys.

In case you haven't read it, it was about would love to take the credits, but it wasn't my hint etc.
I'm not getting the star buttons... Can someone just spoil that one for me? Please?
For the stars buttons;
You have to do all the other codes first and then open the door so the light goes off.
Then use the book hint to see where the star is in every constellation.
Then on the buttons, click a button till that star is on the correct place. Do the same with the other two buttons.

BTW if you guys have too much time on your hands, you may try to click ON the cats when they eat their food, your reward is a nice (VERY modern classical) "cat symphony" :P

I am lost. I have some kind of whistle with a smile on his face and a can of cat food. I have opened the cupboard, opened the hand/foot/colors box. Stuck. :( I think it's something to do with the hole in wall but nothing works.
Oh. Of course. The *obvious* secret fifth hole in the crotch. How didn't I know that? ;) lol

if someone reads ... I can't open the cans, even though I have the can opener (at least i think that's it! ... or it's a whistle? .. oh my! o_O). and do have to place the doughnuts somewhere?
thnx to Millie, I used the whistle, took the can opener, opened all cans .. and can't put the food on bowls.
alcaro, whats the thing with you? what you mean place the doughnuts somewhere? do you have them with you? that means you are done with the game. if the game doesnt let you feed the cats is probably because you already bruteforced the code the cats were the hint for. just escape man!
.. because I solved (helped by hints) the reversi board and opened the door before seeing the position og the cats. If you really cant figure out .. just give a search on Youtube and you'll find a good walkthrough. :)

haha, I got same "problem" once. But then I translated the Japanese underneath and it said "It's no longer relevant" and then I knew the score...
