Well, this changing scenes thing is annoying, isn't it? :)
Lol stuck already! Got a safety pin from book in the hay. Surely I don't have to stick it into the firefly? I lack the eye hand coordination for that!
Oh - didn't see arrow to bottom of room - use pin on lock and get into next room. Is it one of those 'doors' games maybe?

Is the room changing effect that bad? I though it made it nicer.
I have an empty jar which I assume is for the fireflies, but I don't know how I'm supposed to catch them.

You can take the barrel back, trying to figure out what the second use for it is.
Where should I use the hammer? Going round in circles at the mo.

Ahh i don´t like this maze like scenery, erring around and why the 4 shape box don´t open ? I have found the clue in the room with food.
No, that's where the hammer was. I haven't found the jar yet.
In the scene with the tub, there is a crack in the wall you can use the hammer on.

You can catch the bugs with the jar... You have to be quiiiiick...
Caught 3 green flies and used it on dark hole somewhere to get a key.
Well, I need the knife to cut the rope and the jar for the fireflies. Any help? And the click count is getting annoying.

Anyway little annoying with the changing scenes bit, but can get use to it :) Moving on..
I had collected and placed all three gems and then one of them disappeared!
For rope you need a sword from one of the knights, can´t remember which one.
I placed all three of my gems, but nothing happened. Then, when I went back to them after looking around, my blue gem was missing. Bug?
Still looking for the hammer.
I'm scratching my head. Got the pin and the key and no other inventory. Where did you find the jar? How do you move the barrel? Also finding hotspots that are confusing—on the wall below the lever the hot spot reads "The can't use this it will break."
Anja what was your shape sequence ? I have square, triangle, diamond and circle, but box won´t open.
I will NEVER catch the fireflies! LOL
Really not getting anywhere fast lol, have only used the key on gate and can't find or do much else!

cathy - take a bar from one of the windows and stick it in barrel. That empties water so you can lift it. Use it to reach the high up lever.
Lurker -The hammer's in the box after you use sword on rope.
JoC...get a bar from the window in that room.....
My blue gem also disappeared after going back to shield :-(

This big black hole when you change scenes is annoying.
Ahhh - once you've placed the 3 gems it seems like nothing's happened but the exit door opens. (Think I went right from gems scene)

Mousehole is in room with shelf with many jars, behind the shelf.

gmm - mousehole was behind some bookshelves. Think it was the one with the bottles/hourglass.

Started over and didn't place any gems until I had them all. Then the exit door opened for me, but the shield still displayed the message something must go here.
I caught the fireflies by observing their path and put the mouse on the path and then just clicked when the FF came by.

Was clicking like a loon trying to get last green fly, then realised my jar wasn't 'highlighted'... lol shame. Really slow on this game, but enjoying it (and getting use to the scene change)

Have you given the shield to the knight near the start? That was my last one. Can't remember the others,
POP! LOL, I thought I tried to give the knight that shield before...guess it was some other one!
Oh, crud! I put the first 2 gems, then when I found the purple one, the blue was gone...guess a replay is in my future? LOL

Restarted, and it's much better without the iris effect. There was no hotspot on the odd bar in the window, which is where I got stuck. Once I had that lever, the rest of the game was easy.

navigation was a nightmare in this one.
I enjoyed it! Too short, though.
I placed the gems and then went searching for what to do next. It took me a while to figure out all I needed to do was EXIT. :-)

Well I finished. It was funny! Didn't know I was out until I almost fell out the door. BUT I didnt know how to start without someone telling me about using the pin! LOL. Much fun
Solved color code box and just plain stuck now.
Finally found bar used to poke hole in barrel.
Use barrel under lever to open wooden door with no lock.
5364 roman numeral code on scroll.
Sword from knight with yellow and blue feathers.
Use sword to cut rope for yellow chest.
Use roman numeral code on yellow chest for hammer.
Use hammer on crack near pool.
Use jar to collect lighting bugs to see in hole for key.
Take shield from 3rd knight.
Gold key in chicken legs.
Find cheese and use @ mouse hole for green gem.
Use shape clue to open 2nd gold chest. Highest pan to lowest for order.
Give shield to 1st knight. He poops out a purple gem.
After placing gems move right twice. Exit door is open.

SD games are my favorite but this one started out frustrating. Got stuck at beginning because there was no hot spot on the window bar, had to come here for clue. Also couldn't find place to use hammer but that was my fault lol. Rest was fun, even if I didn't know how to get out after placing gems. I don't mind the changing rooms as long as the castle isn't too big to get lost in!
Stuck. In the first room a book I can't read and a fly I can't catch; in the second room a torch (stuck) a barrel too full and a hole too dark...
Got out with almost no help. Thanks for the great hints regardless!
