Got a few items. Lit the lamp and put cross in frame. Don't know what to do with the others things yet.
Wanted to put the cross in upstairs bedroom but can't cause 'the devil is here'???
In the girl bedroom cb you can place the bear. But even after putting the cross in the frame I cant put the bear. Devil is here too. grrrrrr

Collecting more stuff, ultra violet lamp, 2 keys, crowbar, matches, camera, picture frames. Put yellow figure in window sill in liviing room. Used toy key, but he spins around and ofcourse the devil is here too.
Put camera on tripot and the ghost comes out. Dont know what to do with her.

have crowbar, had 2 crosses, lost both in first room when I place one on top of another, have match, lit lantern, placed yellow guy in windo, cut hot cakes in kitchen, got key...can't use crowbar or lantern, read Catqueens comments, I think I agree with her....maybe come back later....good luck
I opened the door where the devil came out. Now can't get into any of the bedrooms any more. I have a lit lantern, but still can't go into the dark room. Stuck. I have a second cross, but can't find anywhere to use it. Door with two keyholes doesn't work.
wow you guys found a lot more than me. so far just one cross and a chisel. can't go anywhere else or use the chisel either.
you need match in dark room to light the switch. How do you get into room devil came out?
where is girls bedroom or dark room. I have a key that wont open the door by the kitchen and a door upstairs with no key hole or door knob?

I have 5 picture frames, a crowbar/chisel, a blacklight, two keys that don't work anywhere, a toy bear, two crosses, a purple book, a knife, lit match, and a lit lantern. Can't seem to do anything with anything. The purple book shows a pie chart with numbers, but don't know what that means. Also pictures of rooms I can't get into anymore...I'm getting ready to quit, too.
Somehow I found two gold keys and escaped without using most of the items I collected. Is this right?
Where did you find purple book? Knife cuts pancakes in kitchen for key. Black light used on clothes in girls bedroom for clue to box on fireplace, and in dark room on door to find key hole. I have 3 keys that can use no where, camera I put on stool, and when ghost walks through you can see hidden box in wall, but don't know how to get to. Have crowbar, teddy bear, and 5 picture frames.
game is glitched. I am stuck in the kitchen now and can't back out. Giving up on this mess.

However, other than placing two crosses on walls, nothing else works. Can zoom in on windows in a bedroom that has a rose in a vase on a cupboard that needs a 4-digit number. But nothing happens when I do that. Two places need 4-digit numbers now - this bedroom and the living room...
Oh, in this room (rose in vase) you can click on the pillows for another cross. I tried to put this cross in the wall, but it just says "devil is here"
Zoe -- if you have two gold keys try using them on the door with the double locks in the first scene (with the fireplace) and see if you escape. It seems odd, but that's what I did and I got out without using most of the collected items. I don't know if that is how the game is supposed to end, but it worked for me!
I found a wind-up key under a dark blue/purple chair in the bedroom with the girls' dresses.
If you move the girls dresses and use the lantern on the back wall you see an image of the toy bear, but when I try to put the bear there, it says "devil is here". I'm thinking I have to find the devil and do something. The camera took pictures of the devil...can't seem to figure it out.
Cee Pluse - when I try to use the keys there, it says "devil is here" and nothing happens.
Oh, and I said something wrong above, the living room doesn't need a 4-digit code, but a shape-like code...
Also, I put the wind-up key in the yellow doll that I put on the windowsill in the living room, but when I wind up the toy, it says "devil is here" again.

Move the siling lamp in the dark room and a x mark appers on the floor to the right. Use crowbar and get a photobook.
Can also move minute hand on all clocks. No clue what time to set for.
the purple book is in the attic - when you go upstairs and zoom in on the door, it opens and you use the lit match to turn on the light in the attic. I'm not sure , but I think I used the blacklight, or I clicked on the light in the ceiling, and a red X appeared on the floor to the right...used the crowbar/chisel there. Also on the door to the left, I used the blacklight and a keyhole appeared above the door handle.
While the camera is taking pictures from the ghost who is floating through the room you can take the key in the grey box at the wall.
Of course, neither of my two keys work there....

TY for purple book place, and key in wall! Now I have 4 un working keys! Yes you can get out using 2 of them, but there has to be a reason for everything else, so I re-started!
I can't do much of anything now because it always says "devil is here" I don't know what I did to get that, but I can't even get out like you guys did!

Clue for box in living room is on clothes in closet! hand, star, wolf, fish. Have to see clue for it to work.

I wonder if the pie chart (first page of the purple book) is showing us which way to move the hands on each of the clocks? If so, which clock is #1, etc.?

Yes, I tried to figure if pie chart had something to do with clocks, but still stumped on that!!

For some reason, the key that I got from the shape box just worked on the door in the attic, and it said "devil is exit" and now I have another door opened that has a black room and I can't go into it, like the door that the ghost came out of where the camera is. But still when I try to do things like put the toy bear in the cupboard, it still says "devil is here"
Me, too. I got this key at the beginning.
My devil is still at the attic. But the devil is now disappeared by the window, where the yellow toy guy is standing. I've turned on the key again and now the devil is away.
i get what the clocks are for it's so that u can release the devils
to place the teddy bear the clock had has to be at 7
The clocks have to be set as in the photo album . 1st picture of room is set at 10 mins pas. 2nd room picture 15mins past 3rd room picture 30 mins past and so on. Hope that makes sense. Keys can then be used. I am still missing keys though

was messing round with the clock hand by going trying 12 first than trying th number counter clockwise till it worked lol
now i need to find one more cross to put over the bed and a way to unlock the door in hallway with the clock and the 4 digit code for the bedroom digit box
I'm doing what velovan said with all the clocks and have now used all my keys! I think I need to find some more because there's still a door that I can't get open in a hall upstairs.

also, in the attic (where there is a swinging light) there is a cross on the wall that you can take off.
I had the clocks set by book, but never tried keys!!! Still can't get the wind up toy room though. Should be 2-3, but doesn't work. And what are picture frames for??

Got living room.(Clock hand on 7) Now can use exit keys, but still wondering about 4 digit code and picture frames. Might just leave and come back later and see if anyone figured them out.

The hand worked on 7...........spun toy, window opened, said devil has left, toy does not spin any more, window is black, when I try keys says devil is here, but there is nothing I can do in the room any more!
Still need 4 digit code for cupboard in bedroom. Have 5 frames and don't know what to do with them. Also need key for between the 2 bedrooms.

ok found a video walkthrough but still don't know how that person got the 4 digit code apparantly the video says it's 5643
and apparantly u put the picture frames at the attics doorway that leads to the room with the swinging light
wich means the 4 digit code come from the picture frame why couldn't i have been that smart to figure it out on my own lol

zoe u gotta put the pictures at the doorway of the room u turn the light on than use the match on the one that is one the wall after the ghost messes pictures up than u can use the 5643 code

I googled "dare devil house escape walkthrough" and got the video, but I can't post it here because it goes to the wrong game when I do.
I couldn't find the spot where to put pictures until I saw the WT. But if you click at the very top of the stairs, but not in the doorway to the attic, you can see the floor and that is where the picture frames go.
i think there is different when you play escape mode then the full mode

Cee Pluse - I think when you play the "escape mode" that happens. When you play the "full mode" then you have to open all the places for the devil to get out before you can finish the game.
I think I placed some crosses correctly by sheer chance, because I wound up the toy on the windowsill, the window opened, and it told me I escaped. Didn't see half the stuff you guys did...
I played again till I was at the point where I left yesterday. Got shapebox in livingroom open and got key. Went to the attic and opened the door with the key I got from the box. Now I'm out but havent use all the other stuff. Hmmmmm

the game keeps freezing in the kitchen after I put the camera on the tripod
not bad game... the only thing I had major problems was with placing the frames... affirmation of the correct clock times would have been nice... I didn't know why mine was working and no one else's was
For anyone who comes to play, this game is a bit weird. I finished without using a lot of items. Use blacklight on clothes in bedroom for box hint. Use key from there in the dark room. use the blacklight on the door to see keyhole. And out.
You can escape many different ways by the looks of it. Setting a certain time on the clocks seems to remove the devil. I just escaped by placing the teddy behind the dresses. I think I moved the clock hand next to the wardrobe to 7, can't be sure as I was just hitting and hoping
