I have wood in the fireplace and a lighter, how to light the fire? all I have left to find is the 4 number code and how to do the checkerboard under it.
there is also a gift under carpet, first scene
candle in bear after putting eyes and nose (find in balloon with pin)
3 presents give a lighter (order in book)
light candle gives a "5"==> hint to open left cb and got gasoline
so sorry... you must find the sack first and cut the ribbon with the glass piece, i'm replaying 'cause of bad memory

put a ribbon on Christmas tree (found in box with 3 shapes)
(finally realized the "5" was the hint for the cb.) :P
wood in sack (open with gass piece found in dustbin), add gasoline and light ==> 4 numbers code
Have gasoline, lighter, and broken glass...now that's Christmas!

cut sack open with glass piece for wood
put in fire use gasoline use lighter
gives you 4 digit code
sack is in cb under candle
key for cb is in left drawer opened with triangle, circle, square (seen on Christmas tree after placing ribbon)
where are the matches

To get lighter zoom on top part of fireplace, put 3 presents on the shelf under the wreath and ball thing while still zoomed in. it will get you a lighter. took me forever to figure that out.
So where's the ribbon.....after reading the hints the ribbon is on the sack..which is in cupboard...but you need a key from the triangle circle square cabinet and you can only get the code by putting the ribbon in the tree. This makes no sense. Pls someone help me.

also where is the small Christmas tree for the box?
and where to use the door knob?
ah - knob used on platter with lid in second scene - gives small tree
which when added to brown box with bells & star give red ribbon
then sack, wood, 4 digit number then key and out...
