Yeah, don't see how to translate the black card to the creatures. I am doomed to wander the frozen caves forever.

ALLLLL of you are wondering about the puzzle pieces ofcourse ... don't tell me you didn't bother to watch them in detail .... snif.
They are dutchies in traditional clothing. Just wanted to let you know that, now back to H.

Both black card are in very right scene, one from making all dots red and one is in middle of scene a little bit to the right (little black dot)
omg, was looking at wrong black card. finally found the one with the picts of the creatures. Everyone, look again in far right room. very tiny on right stalagtite. NOT the card with the 1234 and squares.

Found it - far right screen. Below right of opened compartment - sort of on the smaller rock resting on the big rock.
There are 6 dots, right?

Just went back and double-checked. Not on it actually but in the little dark gap between the bigger and smaller rock.
I know Arrie - Ainars is very mean with his/her dark patches.
can't find E paper anywhere, but have one space that won't open.

Unbelievable slow IE at the moment, was writing a WT, will refresh now, it isn't working at all this way.

Frozen Cave Walkthrough i.o.w. all hints combined ...
Scene 1.
Remove the 4 obvious blocks, push the buttons. MIND YOUR HEAD. Get the brick (IE working fine now, phew ...)
Remove 2 stalactites, get puzzle piece (pp) 1/6 and number 1/4.
Scene 2.
Remove the two obvious blocks, get pp 2/6 and 3/6.
Remove stalagmite, get doorcodepaper D.
Scene 3.
Hit the crack up high with the brick, get the octopussy.
Remove the marked block up high, get F.
Remove the stalagmite, get pp 4/6.
Scene 4.
Click 6 small buttons (5 on stalagmites, 1 on white part), get a black paper. Now, there's another one. left of the small stalagmite on the right, move your mouse to the left of the rock there, Observe closely, it's there ...
Visible is a pp 5/6.
Start using Octo, get number 2/4
Scene 3.
Octo gives number 3/4 and E.(block left under).
Scene 2.
Octo gives number 4/4 + coin, J, and two cards, use them on right cube, gives B.
Scene 1.
Octo gives A.
In left cave use the two black cards, gives H + coin.
Scene 3.
Place the 4 numbers, get butterfly, enter the gate, get I and ,pp 6/6.
Scene 2, place pp, get C.
Place butterfly, get thingie and coin.
Scene 4.
Place thingie, get medal and G.
Scene 3. Place medal, get coin.
Enter the gate, place the number and find some sunshine ...!

Thx smarties for pointing out 'got C paper from clicking on puzzle even though pieces still missing'. I couldnt find that piece anywhere. And bedankt Arrie NL for the great WT!! And ofcourse Ainars for another good game.
Excellent...Did not realize about the stalagmites needed to be removed.
good one, didn't enjoy the golden one but this is deffo more of a Ainars game :D
