       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:34 AM

Roberto, I may have bad eyes. Or..maybe wearing beer goggles. I just saw the micro mini dark triangles in the hex puzzle. Finally understood what you and Zoran meant. Thanks. Got the star thingy now.

Finally worked out the hex puzzle LOL

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:37 AM

---2----5--

McClio me hearty triangles

Evans - use knife on bottom pillar in statue scene

Can't find a clue for the 3 levers that you can turn (in alcove). Any hints please?

I'll come back when someone is willing to help

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:39 AM

i used the hammer on the wall - there is a circle - and now what? my hammer is gone...

For 3 levers, up,right,up

@evans. Left turn from the door on the bottom right

Tania - look at the bottom of the the pillar thing opposite side in the same alcove. Point the dark squares (not handles) in the same direction

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:41 AM

okay - use clues from hexagon to click on the bridges nad get knife. WOOF!

Tania, see the base of gray statue...across from where the handle puzzle is. Handles represented by "V" in arrows of the clue.

Need clue for 6 levers now. Have not seen that yet.

@ Estefania Clue for bric wall in hexagon room down right

It seemed like several clues were reversed from what made sense to me, so if it doesn't work the way you think it should, try it the exact opposite and it will!

Clue for 3 levers. In shining ball hall, click on left aparatus and click down.

Star goes under the cystal ball, which gives mini hexagon. Mini hex goes under big hex for three-pronged fork. Fork goes under female statue, turn it..and she spins which gives a key.

Evans, clue for levers is on base of a pillar. But it was one that seemed like it worked in reverse, to me.

Estefania - there is a clue under a shelf next to the dolphin. Follow the arrows on the brick scene and press the brick where the arrows tell you. Start at the circle. Ex... press third brick to the right...etc. Make sense?

thank you. I can progress now:)

Thanks Pirate McBlondie...im slow typing..and slower in brainiacalness....still catching up. LOL

For levers - place each lever where the space is in the clue

got the levers now what is this round ball for?? I am definitely feeling dumb today!

Round ball goes on the plant where the "eggs" are

Put ball on plant.

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:46 AM

okay - working the slider puzzle @ Ross Elliot: did you get it? I am trying the squares clue but not sure how

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:47 AM

BTW: the clue for the levers is not reversed: they have a red arrow showing the position.

where do you use the knife?

Use knife on base of pilar, right side of door.

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:49 AM

@juslokin: knife in statue room base of right column

on RT post of exit

out finally, that was a little more bewildering than usual, but fun still.
Thanks for all the helps peeps.

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:50 AM

@evans: slider clue?

And out..

Estefania - see my post above. Place the levers where the space is in the clue

I am out but never found clue for levers - don't know which pillar you mean, I checked everyone and the only clues were for other puzzles that I had already done.

stumbling along....Key goes in ..key hole (i was shocked and surprised)...for a dolphin which goes in the dolphin shaped hole (whoa..what were they thinking?) which gives a hammer. Hammer bashes the wall on the right of the crystal ball. Stuck now....need to read back in the hints of what to do next.

those symbols are hard..

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:54 AM

thanks miles1, but what clue? the square one? that's what I am trying and still not luck

CR clue for wall R3U24LU1R3D1

LOL Tania read comment above yours

EStefania 3 positions for levers so place as per spaces on the block clue

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:55 AM

@clio_rose: on the bottom of the hexagon there was a clue that will tell you how many bricks to move starting from the circle: 3 left, 2 up, and son on.

square = no slider
no square = slider.

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:56 AM

@Leroy: i am not at the three levers; i am suck at the slider puzzle

SORRY R3U2L4U1R3D1

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 7:57 AM

Thank you! Roberto!

@Leroy, that is not the levers I was enquiring about, but thanks for the LOL

Ummm..im stuck. Nothing in inventory. Only a circle with a mini circle, on brick wall i smashed with hammer, on right of crystal ball. What do i do next please?

finally out LOL I think heat here fried my brain...

This comment has been removed by the author.

ball goes in the thing with 6 yellow eggy things

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:00 AM

clio: check my post at 7:55

Time to click the bricks clio. lol

clio you find clue for circle and bricks on the bottom of something but cant remember which...

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:03 AM

I am finally out, thanks Roberto for explaining the slider clue!!! I will stay a little bit to help

HOLY MOLY..sorry and thanks both Estefania and Roberto. I saw that on my first go-round of the game...and then...forgot about it. I blame the beer..but wish i could blame Cap'n Blondbeard....lol

Thanks Leroy too. I have my knife. Now to read back and cheat again.....

ok..Use knife on r/h pillar in statue scene, for a diamond shaped thingy. Use it on l/h side of crystal ball for a crucifix shaped thingy which goes on the spinny thing under the yellow eggs. That gives a wrench. Forward i go..reading backwards to cheat.

Waiting for an "OUT" from clio.......

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:20 AM

LOL... Roberto... me too....

Clue for the astrological symbols???

Whay? This is not Davis Cup ;P

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:23 AM

read every comment 100 times... still not getting the hexagon clue..512634... I push the 5th triangle first then the 1st triangle which should be this pattern.
2 5= first button to push
1 3
6 4

also tried it
3 4
1 6
2 5
as suggest in earlier comment.
still stuck
help please. thanks

You get the symbols after place the ball on plant.

LOL Clio the symbols... switch tween yellow things and right wall and do em one at a time Only way I managed it!!

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:24 AM

@LNS: once you get the missing button, you click the buttons in that order

Adiva you seen the clue for it yet. Might need that first before it works

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:25 AM

I swear POP! Got it.

Wrench/lever goes below brick wall ...thanks to Ellen, Miles and Evans..turning it according to hint on base of of thing on opposite side of brick wall. That give a lever which is the first lever on the up/down slider thing. Reading back for what to do next.

@adivawoman. There are a pile of 6 triangles. When 1st triangle on top is black, means it's number 1
1st triangle black in 2nd line =2
2nd triangle black in 2nd line = 3... and so on.

Clue high up somewhere I think..

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:26 AM

Estefania, thanks .. now on to get stuck once again.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to find the 'ball'? Nothing left in my inventory. Ta everso

thanx - jumping the gun here!

Ah, just realised it must come from the 7 yellow button thingy. Can someone tell me where the clue is for that please?

If you have nothing left in inventory, ot´s time to click the bricks where you used the hammer.

im slow (and a bit pie-eyed too)....shaddup...lol. Im getting there. OK...next bit. Placed lever and then...finally recognised the clue i was supposed to. On immed right of female statue on column base...the missing bit, is where the 6 lever, levers go.

Roberto, I've done that , still got nothing left but have 7 yellow button to solve and the 4 digit .............

got a button which goes on the sarcophagus thing..and now im confused.. Cheat me please..i think im very not able to continue in a sober and safe manner. Too all younger players....NEVER drink and escape. Its too dangerous. Safety first.

Click that kind of ship wheel above shining ball. There you´ll see the clue for yellow buttons.

The clue for the yellow button puzzle is in the alcove above the thing that was held in place by the claws.

Bloody hell Roberto..thanks! Never even noticed that before...i reckon i might get outta here after all...whohoo. Dont hold your breath though..

Thank you!!! Up and running again ............

Took me forever to see those little triangles inside the hexagon, but after that it was fairly easy.

You both are almost there!

I'm out too. Like Clio I missed the symbols over the claw thing - thanks for the hints people.

Will have to finish later :( dinner beckons. Ta everyone ..... Just need to get the symbols right .....................

Man oh man..those eggs to symbol panel were hard for me..but...got the number....and got my key.

Congratulations..im success !! Thank you all soooo very much for your patience. Seriously, no wonder we all love EG24. I bet no other game site has such helpful, patient and friendly comments. Thank you all so much. x x x Whistle me off this ship pls Cap'n Blondebeard. I walked the plank instead. LOL

Great clio!!! I can R.I.P. now!

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 8:53 AM

Thanks for all the comments and help. I am finally out.

Clue high up somewhere I think..
ABOVE EXIT DOOR!

Triangles were so trivial...but these outlined fluorescent circles are NOT...I made it to four of them with trial 'n error...

I miss:
4 digit
ball?
what to do with panel right of eggs
7 buttons.
Help, please

"ball" is called 'mysterious stone' in the game, so don't get confused

4digit is awarded if you get the (extremely) bizarre symbols right (it's tricky)

"ball" needs to be put into that green shape between the "eggs" that looks like some leek or something...

I absolutely love these games! So logical and the graphics are always so nice! Thanks for the fun!!!

Thanks to all for all the help. For those trying to figure out the symbols, they are actually easy if you think about the grid, ie: 6 columns across and 6 symbols, so put first symbol in the first column, second symbol in second column, and so on.

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 9:58 AM

I can't find anything and none of the hints can be used... This game is not difficult, it's just impossible. Very frustrating when I can't find ANYTHING by myself.

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 10:02 AM

I tried the hint on the triangles inside the hexagon (5 1 2 6 3 4), but it doesn't work.

Oh yes, to get you started is the most difficult thing in these games. So here we go...

- Look above exit door. (HINT/CLUE)

- Then, on the huge circular plate with the 6 large buttons, look very CLOSELY if you can make out a similarity between what you saw above door and there.
It may need 2 or 3 looks to spot, you're not the only one...

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 10:09 AM

@arbeitslooser,

Thank you... but I still can't start the game. I can see triangles on the top of the door, but I have to click on diamonds, and triangles are not set like on the "hint" above door. That doesn't make sense at all, I'm afraid. I tried to click the diamonds starting from several different starting points, but none of them works.

This comment has been removed by the author.

No, no, cut that out!
This is not Haretoko *smile* No "starting point".

The triangle symbols are VERY SMALL visible near the buttons you press, they will indicate the '1' and the '5' and so on. Put them in right order, and ...

..../x\
../_\/_\
/_\/_\/_\

This is a '1'.

..../_\
../_\/_\
/_\/x\/_\

And this is a '5'.

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 10:33 AM

@arbeitslooser,

Thank you for your explanations, now I understand ! They should have warned us : don't even try to play this game if you are more than 40 year old...

Huh? What does that have to do with your age? I don't quite get it...

       Anonymous  1/18/14, 10:50 AM

@ arbeitslooser,

I'm not very old, but these tiny triangles were a pain for my eyes (-:

Oh I get it...but still, that's no question of age! :) For one, it's usually people over 50 that have these shortcomings in viewing small objects. And second, they will just be in need of reading glasses then, so no problem.

lol!
I bet a magnifying glass would work!

I cannot make out the strange symbols for the 4X6 panel thingy!!!!
Really, there are many so similar....I even drew the clue and still can't do it...can anyone do a 4X6 grid and X the ones to highlight? LOL

OK....I honed my drawing skills....and got it! LOL and it was 5X6...lol
In case anyone has my problem...here is a grid I wanted... lol

OOOOOO
OOOOXO
OXOOOO
XOOXOX
OOXOOO

One thing that often helps me when it comes to those symbol matching type puzzles is to do a Shift Print Screen, and then open up Paint and paste the screenshot. Then I don't have to bother with trying to write them down. It was a little trickier this time since the symbols were flashing, but not too difficult.

Half on hour to find out that items has to be dragged from the inventory...

@gmm I just used a plain ascii text file, writing in there what I would otherwise have written on paper: just plain prose:

ampersand w mid hooklet , '8' w bezier curve thru it , '6' shape on upper half, lower half unintelligibie etc.

(trust me, though it looks clumsy, it isn't, since drawing this stuff with my drawing 'skills' would probably take me 3 tries each)

HARD BUT VERY COOL

@arbeitslooser - that sounds way too advanced for me! I had to look up what a "bezier curve" is. I don't even think I could come up with the right words to describe most of those shapes.

Forlorn Temple

@gmm Hah, you might even have said I was trying to show off badly with this kinda word, but that's because you cannot know the background story.
Since that's what happens if you had to use ancient software to print musical score in the 90s. I knew this bezier thing through the requirement of having to use these beziers when tieing together two notes; it means there is no rest between the two sounds; it sounds "as one".
'Sibelius' et al. were not even developed back then! So applying ties was an utter hit-and-miss.

Most enthralling game for ages. Great graphics and studied gameplay, just as well, so many clever players are prepared to encourage the slower brethren, on their behalf, many thanks.

For anyone who is still having trouble seeing the triangles in the hexagon:
Forlorn Temple hexagon

This was so not English, I didn't know how to find Play.

Can anyone tell me what kind of symbols those are on the panel and the six eggs? They are identical to the symbols that were on the calendar in Dream Room (anyone remember that demon game?) and they are forever seared on my brain. I've tried Google Image to no avail. Help!

Sorry, I meant Dream HOUSE not room. There are 1582 comments to give you an idea how epic the game is!

See number clue at bottom of the lit globe in the large alcove (opening scene). See triangle clue above exit door. The triangle in black is the number. (top one black is number 1, 3rd one down is number 3 etc). Go to hexagon puzzle and click the triangle symbol according to the number clue.

Get star, put in bottom of lit globe plinth. Go to circular thing above it, claws have gone, open for hexagon. Put hexagon on top of plinth under hexagon puzzle for fork. Put fork in bottom of greek woman statue, get key.

Put key in red keyhole on right of opening scene and get dolphin, put in dolphin statue for hammer. Use hammer on right wall of large alcove, see bricks and hole.

Click on bottom right of the part-wall the hexagon is on and see clue for bricks starting at hole. You can click on each brick to hold your place. Brick opens, click on it for a knife.

Go to pillar on right side of exit door at bottom, use knife to get lozenge. Put in object on the left wall of the big alcove, turn to get special wrench. Look at the bottom of this form for a direction clue. Put special wrench in form under the yellow "cups" turn for wrench (deja vu??). Put wrench in the spare lever slot at the bottom of the right wall of large alcove. Use direction clue to set levers (its the red end that is the 'point") get slider.

Place slider in form on bottom right of wall with the yellow 'cups' in it. Clue is on bottom of left pillar beside exit door. Use the space to tell you where to place the lever. Get round button.

Place button on form on right of exit door. Clue is on back wall of large alcove, click on saucer with claws and look top right of that screen for symbols. Click symbols in order r to l. Get mysterious stone. Place stone in the green form between the yellow cups. See symbols on cups.

Go to symbol stone on right of cups. Click symbols in order, get 4 digit code. Put code into form on left of hexagon puzzle, get door key and go out.
