The arrow beside WUGS must mean something

Still ....nothing! :)

Me also Zazie, Oh by the way HI!!!!

Ok I have no idea why we had to change letters but anyway, I'm out, just anagram the new letters and count them

Because.....we don't usually like riddles....we like your puzzles...still, I don't have it! Can't open the briefcase.....

Well, EIGH = 5987 which doesn't work :(

5984 ? not working

GOT IT!!!!...... the letters spell out HIDE.... use alphabet...

Spoiler8945Spoiler

This one is really tricky, Use the arrow and look a the keyboard. W=E, U=I and so on, then anagram then convert to numbers... Thank Jon the Watch, he's the one who gave me this example for a puzzle. It might be too much!!! Sorry!

Someone spoil??? Please???? TY!

TY TY TY @Jeb!!!!! LOL

Now that you explained that SD i get it, but i had to have your help! never would have gotten that on my own!!!

ARRRRGGGH!!! Sorry, that was just AWFUL! FAAAAAAAAAR too complicated!

That was a new way of thinking... I think I liked it, but I'm not sure.. ;) Thanks for the help SD, and for a good game!

#3 on board for about 10 seconds....lol
I missed 4 coins and I don't care! OUT
Thanks for all the help everyone!!!!

Thank you SD... i still love your games!!! You are awesome!! :-)

Don't understand too. I tried the numbers, turn the word, and nothing

Hey something new, nice try SD but a bit much.

anagram eidh--put to numbers get blue gem

As I said...that was for riddlers...which we mostly are not...I am not fond or them anyway...oh well great fun as usual, Selfdefiant!!! Thanks!

Ohh this WUGS was hard ! LOL but super game !!! Love it when it is not too easy ! Thx SD...

Okay, finally out! THANX SOOOOO MUCH for all the clues, SD and for creating a brilliant game. Although, please don't ask our dear Jonthewatch for help again ;)

And hi Bandy ;-)

I don't think it was all that tricky. We were on the right track by looking at the phone. If only we thought to look at the keyboard instead!!

Oh my... I'm with yoou since first post and ty for the hints. But now it's so difficult...

Coming back from dinner....suppose everything is done by now....((((

Arrow is misleading Up and over was my read. oh well.

flora - enjoy the outcome!!

aaannnndddd... out! finally.. phew!

I will know next time. Other than the WUGS, good game.

Ok thank you! I didn't see that have a second page of posts :)

Yeah... out... But without help I wouldn't have solved the WUGS thing....

@Selfdefiant,

Now I understand your riddle, but you didn't think that some people don't have a QWERTY keyboard ! In France and in Belgium, our keyboards are AZERTY (look here http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Clavier-Azerty.svg ). In Germany, they have QWERTZ keyboards...

Thanks for this great game, SD!!!!
Blue key and WUGS were really tricky, but we want it hard!!!!

SD must have a "thing" about the color blue - lol! Blue key and blue gem - both very sneaky!!

Perhaps he has got the blues....;))))

Self.... --- This one is really tricky, Use the arrow and look a the keyboard. W=E, U=I and so on, then anagram then convert to numbers...

Anneli: Yes, blue key is in 'i'
to the left of the towel, but very near it ad towards the bottom. There is a little drawer that you click on.

I don't get this at ALL! also, when I try to convert WUGS to EIHD I get 5984, which doesn't open the briefcase. backwards or forwards. neither does WUSG converted (re: SD's hints at 10:05). Can anybody please explain this to me???

zoz: anagram EIHD, and you will get SPOILERhideSPOILER. Then convert them to the right numbers.

OK, forget to go to the new page, doh. I understand it now, after reading comments. Still, this is something I would expect on one of Jon and Small-tool's riddles, but not here!
Anyway, thanks for the vacation in a beautiful home @SD!

I figured out that W = E because E is right next to W on the computer keyboard therefore U=I, G=H and S=D... however i can't figure out how to convert those four letters into four numbers... anyone? I've tried 5984 and 3146 but it doesn't work...?

fannar - EIHD is anagramed to HIDE. Then use the alphabet...

I've figured out that W=E because E is right next to W on the computer keyboard... therefore U=I, G=H and S=D ... however i can't figure out how to convert those four letters into four numbers... i've tried 5948 and 3146 but doesn't work... anyone???

Fannar, you first have to anagram it.

EIDH---->HIDE--->8945

Thanks flora :)

LOL, Zoe....)))

and a belated thanks to zoni for the explanation. I love your screen name btw!

Greetings to Iceland!!! (....thinking so because of your name...)

zoz - another "z" - YAY!

Thanks zoz :)
I have a question for either SD or to anyone who might know this: Is there a way to get a notification when there is a new SD game so you can always catch the live games?

What is wrong with these melting-mindz selfdefiant games lately ? I haven't been able to play the last 3 or 4 of them - just get a white screen. Never used to have problem . . .

I must say this is one of the tackiest decorated houses I have ever seen.

zoni: I think someone asked that before in the chat box and the answer was no, but you may want to go there and ask it again - you'd probably get more answers!

d'ont get the FCE hint... help, please

WUGS- HIDE- 8945

WUGS- HIDE -8945

out with 100 coins! some of them were tricky!

So taking the spoiler (which I don't get from WUGS so please explain the logic!) EIDH... anagram... then turn it into numbers. Gotcha!

SPOILER**HIDE = 8945**

Luis: Convert FCE into numbers ---> 635

So stuck... where is the marble in N?

Ligeia (like A.E. Poe's Lady?):
Look behind the plant pots.

Thank you Flora, I was looking so hard at my phone I forgot to look at my fingers...

This comment has been removed by the author.

Yes, just like Poe's Lady Ligeia :) Thanks for the help, there was absolutely no active spot there, then I have reloaded, and got it now, thanks to you :)

the number in S?

Everything except the blue gem. Tried different codes on the suitcase in U but nothing till now....

Please help - whats the code for Isobel?
I've tried everything

For once, glad that I missed the live game. WUGS is now EIHD, so you only have to solve a more conventional anagram-numbers.

zoni: SD most often posts on Mon, Wed, and Fri before noon Eastern time. Sometimes, he or his co-conspirators surprise us with a different time or day. I kind of like the surprise of coming to the page and "magically" finding a new game!

LP, Isobel translated into numbers and typed backwards (upside-down) into the daisy keypad is SPOILER738051SPOILER

@LP - if you're still here, I think it was 738051

This comment has been removed by the author.

You just spell out HIDE and count which # they are in the alphabet

Zelda, second scene: up arrow (perhaps out of your sight?)

You just change letters to HIDE then count where they are in the alphabet

Thanks, Flora. I had enlarged the screen and the up line was indeed covered up. << Blush>>

Have all the gems, cannot find safe in AC

You just spell out HIDE and count which # they are in the alphabet

Did you turn all the switches? They are in B F L O V AD.

and out. Thanks for all the help!

Compose yourself, cjordan ;)))) Everything will turn out well!

That darn box behind the towel!!!

Yes , Trig, without Zoe I would have NEVER found that....

Think I missed the switch in F, Thanks Flora. Out with 99 coins.Love these SD games.

okay what does the FCR on the on the hand towel from the bathroom mean. And whats up with the butterflies? And the hint in the mirror BROGY?

Tamara, takethe position number in alphabet for FCR and put the ciphers in ... I have forgotten.
The butterflies give the position for the gems in the safe
Brogy initials of colours (B for browns, r for red) somewhere are dots in those colours. Press them according to the position an you'll get the golden key

okay there isn't a drawer next to the towel FCE in I. I ve used a magnify glass and I ve clicked

okay people here's the clue in I for the blue key. I know its a spoiler and I know you want it. so there IS a little drawer to the left of the towel. Use FCE F=6 C=3 E= 5

Não consegui a moeda 100, só 99

A chave azul está logo à esquerda, na parte de baixo, da toalha. É uma gaveta bem pequena

I can't find the safe to put the gems in

Rose, the safe is in AC if I remenber right. It only turns up when you habve moved all switches

nvm, I missed a switch. IT's there now :)

Thanks SD, I loved this game (and the wine cellar).

Thanks SD. And thanks to the "solution team" for the hints, some of which I could not have figured out on my own.

Thanks SelfDefiant, great game as always especially with the extra sneaky blue key!

This comment has been removed by the author.

Man, this was really sneaky - I did everything on my own besides the blue key and the WUGS. Those would have left me in agony. That WUGS thing would have been nice if there had been a hint for the keyboard. Anyway, it was something else, esc. for those complaining there wouldn't be enough variation (which I don't do). Thanks, SD!

And zoni, SD announces new Sneakys and Asylums in Facebook, just like the Melting-Mindz site.

Soooooooo good, once Selfdefiant gave the clue for the Blue key, all fell into place, Thanks again for a great game

WUGS? Mine says DIEH but doesn't work

This place is amazing if I ever win the lottery I'd be there in a flash, such luxury champagne by the bed, soft fluff sheep skins to snuggle under enjoying the view.If anyone knows where it is,please tell:)

David - clue was changed to DIEH to make it easier. Anagram a word and change alphabet to numbers.

This comment has been removed by the author.

SD thanks for the great game I think it's your best ever, you tricky man you :)

I need one more gem, the light blue

I got all gemstones, but I don't know what to do with them..HELP

       Anonymous  2/11/14, 12:42 AM

@joLow1,

If I lived in such a glittering house, I would have to wear sunglasses even at home... lol

Well, more seriously about the WUGS puzzle, nobody with a QWERTY keyboard seems to have solved the puzzle without help from SD... so, imagine how it could be solved when you have an AZERTY keyboard...

       Anonymous  2/11/14, 12:48 AM

my suitcase says DIEH cant make out a code

Hooorayy!! The game saves!! SD, you are the BEST!

I war prepared to replay the entire game until the blue key find but the game was saved. :-)

That was a great great game. After finding the blue key and after the QWERTZ-unfriendly wugs was replaced everything fell into place very smoothly.

Marc Habers, DIEH is an anagram, think that was said often in above posts.

hello don't understand ISOBEL

babou "return" it

Alright...I realize it is 1:30am, but I have not played games for almost a month, so of course I had to play Sneaky first, which, by the way, was a great game and very, very, very Sneaky ;) Thank you SelfDefiant for a fantastic game!!!!

@Flora: given my propensity to overthink just about everything, I thank you for the sneak peak I finally had to give in and look for to get the panel code :) I was anagramming, using numbers to replace the letters in the alphabet, counting the letters in "Isobel's" message, but did not see what was right in front of me, which were the numbers Isobel formed to turn on the power....lol!!!! Thank you so much :)

Everything else I had fun with...the elusive 100th coin was never found but I don't mind finishing with 99 :)

@Peggy & LaChatonFou: Great WT's...thank you so much for taking the time to identify where everything was! Walkthroughs are truly a labor of, in some cases, pity for those of us who are absolutely stuck ;) And I appreciate the work that goes into creating them. Thank you both!!!!!!

Great game...now I would love an Asylum to haunt and search!

This comment has been removed by the author.

Out with 100 coins plus sneaky, only took 1095 clicks, thanks to the "towel incident" lol

I got all the way through and have clicked everywhere to find the safe...in AC

Ok..I have all the gemstones....now what?!
