Crowbar (from plant) is not only used to take the board away, but also to take the code box from top of the cupboard.

Put doorknob in fireplace lol.

Painting goes on red knob on the wall.

Emmes don't drag the Items just click once and it will stick there and go on it

Use srewdriver (after you used the oiled doorknob) on the grid behind the drawers to get screw, grid and knife.

You have to use crowbar on wooden box Emmes.

Use knife on painting (the one you put on the wall) to get purple key.

Is it the electriceye where the pic needs to go ? I know that the objects stick to the cursor but when I want to put the pic there it tells me "you can't reach that".

Use key on top drawer to get a magnifier, use magnifier next to printer to get 3 letter code, gives handle.

Use the grid/vent between the two batteries to get power and then you can turn pc on.

Where is knife ?

Emmes put box under red dot.

Don't know Emmes I just put it up there?? Maybe a bug? I cant get oil to go on Door knob.

POP knife was in vent after pushing button by flowers.

Use knife on other painting too and then use the screw there.

Is there something I have to do first before the oil?

Handle is in 3 letter box.

Use handle on pipe next to the door to put water on and then you can fill the glass with water.

Then fill glass in sink.

The long letter code for the pc is on the pic you did put up on the wall,

Got myself a glass of bubbles, maybe I can find the crowbar now. Also, when you put the screw on the board it moves (really, it's not the bubbles...)

Emmes I think the crow bar was hidden behind the plant were TV was, I think.

clicked that "biep" thing in the plan 100 times ! All of a sudden it turns out to be the crowbar ! Thx. bnadytrc

No idea what the moving screw is telling me, thought it was the 5 digit code but 13442 doesn't work :( And no idea where to use the glass of water.

Ah, you can use the knife on the book too to get a paper and then you can print.

Put the printed paper in the envelope and then put that in the mailbox next to the door.

After clicking the red button on the pc you get another mail back and a key.

5 digit code is using the screw pattern on the numbers on the tv.
Have a clock/bomb in the closet now, but it has no power and I can't take the batteries from the wall :(

Finally got lighter and burned fireplace, used water on fire for key, used on box, gives keycard.

Well, stuck again. Tried every tool on those batteries in the hole in the wall but they won't come off. Now what?

I don´t get the 5 # code s-t.

Can you spoil the numbers ?

But that was an easy bruteforce. It's the 4.

I'm about to give up. Tried every pixel on and around those batteries with every item from the inventory, but nada :(

I think it was using the screwdriver or the crowbar to get it.

You need SD from grey cb. Key is in bin.

Walkthrough posted on Dr Fou G+ page:

-Take painting above sink (revealing a safe with a 5-digit code) and glass by computer. Notice there's no power for the computer and no water for the sink. Also notice blank book on top shelf of the bookcase and envelope labeled "for mail".
-Turn right. Try to take oil can but it is alarmed. Notice the electric eye (red light).
-Right again. Get crowbar in plant over fireplace.
-The switch over the fireplace raises and lowers the rope. Lower it, then click rope to tie it to hook on nightstand. Click switch again to lift nightstand and reveal a vent in the wall.
-Right again. Get key in waste basket. Notice the mailbox, the blue button by the door, and the water pipe with no handle. Also notice key stuck in the door handle, which is screwed tight.
-Use key to open closet. Take screwdriver. Notice paper you can't read.
-Use screwdriver to take screws from vent below nightstand. Take vent cover, then take knife from hole.
-Use the crowbar on the wooden box by the closet. Take a key. Click the batteries in the hole to learn there is no power. Use the vent cover in the hole to complete the circuit. This powers the computer.
-Now that you've moved the box, put the painting over the electric eye. Take the oil can. Use the knife to cut the crack in the painting. Take a purple key. Click the small paper to get a message ("SEND THE KEY"). Click the post-it stuck to the painting to learn that this is the "mail message".
-Use the purple key to open the top bookcase drawer. Take the magnifying glass. Click the paper to learn you have to "burn knob".
-Use the magnifying glass to read the paper in the closet. It gives a 3-letter code (XDF).
-Use the crowbar to knock down the toolbox on top of the bookcase. Use the 3-letter code to open it. Take the spigot handle.
-Attach the spigot handle to the water pipe. Turn the handle.
-Turn on the sink and use the glass on it. Take the glass of water.
-Use the knife to cut a sheet of paper from the blank book.
-Put the sheet of paper in the printer.
-Turn on the computer. Click the sticky notes to find out what the buttons do (red: mail call, yellow: word to print, green: print). Click the yellow button and input the code "SEND THE KEY"; the yellow light will turn on. Now push the green button and the green light turns on.
-Take the letter out of the printer.
-Put the letter in the envelope on the bookshelf; take the envelope.
-Use the key from the hole in the wall to unlock the mailbox. Place the envelope in the mailbox and close the door (the flag will raise).
-Push the red button on the computer.
-Go back to the mailbox and use the knife to open the envelope. Take the blue key. Read the paper by the waste basket (it says "exit closet").
-Use the knife to cut the poster by the door. Notice the two holes in the back of the frame with notes - "drop screw" and "reclaim".
-Place the screw in the top hole in the frame. Click the screw and follow the path it takes. When it reaches the bottom you can reclaim the screw from the lower hole.
-Use the screwdriver to remove and take the door handle.
-Use the blue key to open the hanging nightstand drawer. Take the lighter.
-Place door handle in fireplace. Pour oil over knob. Use lighter to set knob on fire, then use glass of water to put flames out. Take gold key.
-Use gold key to open chest behind water pipe. Take keycard.
-Use keycard to open bottom bookcase drawer. Get remote.
-Use remote to turn on TV and there is a pattern of digits. If you trace the pattern made by the screw over the numbers on the screen, you will cross five digits.
-Input those five digits (2-0-7-5-4) into the safe. Take clock. Read sticky note in safe - the clock is a bomb.
-Place the bomb in the closet. Click the bomb to find out there is no power.
-Face the TV. Use screwdriver on remote. Take battery.
-Place battery in bomb; a red light will turn on.
-Press blue button by door and you hear a boom.
-Face closet and exit through hole in wall.

One of the best games using the Dr Fou engine I've seen. Once you realize that Dr Fou limits free-form text because so many nasty kids try to enter swear words, it makes sense why some things are as they are..The engine and graphics options keep improving, bravo.
