For the code with glasses and cups, there's one item hiding somewhere else...

Was just going to say the same thing Meritneith!

Haha, Clodagh, nice to see you again! Have another one: The colour hint is on the right side of the shelf with the little boys.

Hello there! I can't seem to enter any of the three-digit codes anywhere, and as for the one with the little bird on top, every time I try to enter its number in the drawer below it, there's a 'squish' sound, and the number under the bird changes to a different one. Entertaining for a while, but 7 sets of numbers later I'm beginning to think I'm wasting my time! Thanks for the colour hint by the way.

Is that a left right hint there too?

Oh, I see.

Okay, I have 11 coins, opened all the drawers except any with numbers and that circle-triangle-drawer. Hopelessly struck with those.

Yes, the left-right-hint comes frome the boys too, as well as the hexagon-square-thing. These are easy, just take them from top to bottom.

i have 11 too. see number 743, but not go..

Yep, had those.

Sadly have to leave now - but looking forward to coming back to notes of your triumphs, Meritneith and Tadas!

Bye Clodagh, but there will be nothing like that...

I wrote down that numbers the clocklike-thingy gave me:
143
905
776
547
The pattern is: for the first number subtract 2, for the second number subtract 3, and for the third one add 1.

So I thought the next number should be 218, and in fact it was. Brilliant, isn't it? But I can't imagine if it is relevant, and if so, what to do with it.

318 it was.

If you click on the EXIT sign at one of the doors you are asked something (I think if you want to leave). I thought there would be another room as there are two doors and left. Game over. Start again.

Same place with the numbers. I tried to use the next in line using the formula, to no avail :(

Haha, and now I have only nine coins!

Figured out the shape code. Look for common lines (from the 4 papers) and work that way, starting with the diamond (non-changing) shape (since all of them start with a circle)

Well, all of them start with a circle except one...

Have to leave for half an hour or so, maybe a mental reboot will help me... Good luck!

I solved all but this bird -clock (blue numbers, 3 digits).

       Anonymous  4/15/14, 3:41 AM

omg, you have just to click not on the arrows... 15th coin

Click on the code box to the left of the upside down 743 and see what happens...!

LOL, thanks Mako

For the code to the bottom drawer of the cup/glass cabinet, look at the partial clock code on the table in the room with the men - there is only one possible number for each partial number...

What about the green numbers?

I don't understand the 4 papers code or the 743 box - I lack logic today

spoiler for green numbers

240

gmm - the hint for that is on the table next to the tall shelf with the men holding the signs.....spoiler: 240 (If I remember correctly)

       Anonymous  4/15/14, 3:54 AM

4 papers codes show all the lines of 3
2 are fixed

hint: start with o-o-triangle in the first line

in the box with blue numbers with a bird - just click the numbers, not arrows

finally got the 743 box open, but cannot for the life of me figure out shapes code

Thank you Mako - I still am not having any luck with it. I am just slow today - so I have to quit before I aggravate myself any further. Thank you anyways!

i'm with Snoff can't figure out shapes

Please spoil 743

I mustn't think of how long we had clicked those clocknumbers in vain trying to make out a pattern. :-(

Magda, put in 743 and click at the side of the box I think. It will turn around to that EhL and you can open the box.

@Magda FR - click around on the box until it turns upside down. Then you can enter the code as the clue shows.

Thanks, meritneith, gmm!

Only have 3 memo for shape. Can't solve blue number (bird's thing). Please help.

Would someone be as kind as dropping me a hint on the birdhead-box puzzle (three blue digits). A hint, not the solution :)

I figured out how the two numbers (the one you set on the cupboard door and the one th bird-head box shows) are related - but I have no idea where I should go from there... I have no "target number" to set in either the door box or the birdhead box...

Found the 4th memo, 14 coins now, only the blue number unsolved

For the blue number, just enter the number that's currently displayed on the clue, but instead of using the up/down arrows to scroll through the numbers, click on the numbers themselves. Using the up/down arrows will cause the numbers to change on the clue.

Oops, Brewster was faster than me :)

gmm, your explanation is better

lol Brewster! - deleted my first answer because I thought it wasn't clear enough.

gmm,
thanks!

But... is there a hint in the game about not touching the arrows? Because if there isn't, than it's more than unfair... If there is then I'm blind.

No hint - just sneaky.

Oh well! Completed all puzzles, but 14/15 coins. Rats!

Might have to replay and write down a coin-through. In case you ask, yes I found the one on top of the tall cupboard.

gmm,
if there's really no hint, then it's not sneaky - it's downright and very unfair IMHO...

Which is a shame, because otherwise this was an OK game.

arbeitslooser - and the one at the back of one of the green sofas?

Coin locations (other than puzzles):
back of right couch
top of tall cabinet with little men inside
cookie bowl on table between couches
inside pitcher
bowl on top shelf of tall cabinet with glasses
behind bird head/blue number clue
bottom of cupboard with blue number puzzle

Thanks all for blue number hint. Out finally.

bottom of cupboard with blue number puzzle

THANKS A BUNCH!
That was the one I never found.

Thank you all for the hints, especially the link for the shape code puzzle. I still don't understand how that works, but I'm grateful that it does!

could someone explain the shapes puzzle? Just from curiosity. Thanks.

Wow - thanks for all the clues with the puzzles. That was hard!
Robin - I think the shapes clue papers showed each line of the puzzle - the perimeter, and the lines within - diagonal, horizontal and vertical. Having said that - I just used the spoiler too...
