I seem to have found a gift tied with string, and a praying mantis which I have given to a girl praying mantis.
I was able to open the box and got something to scare the opossum, got the flashlight, and am now looking at an octopus (or cthulu) in the dark

actually, where do you find the box first. I was thinking it was the the thing in the first scene
found box in stork scene after I pushed the button in the third scene...
holy crap it IS Cthulu! Hail to the dark lord!
Sorry, was playing the other game. Once you put the mantises together they cut the string on the box. Box showed up after pushing the button in the dark, but whether theese events are actually related is unknown.
ok, push the button a few times and you will see that the bird moves

same here, I've spammed everyone with the note but nothing yet
no one wants the note and can't use it anywhere...sure wish I could understand what the signs are saying...
turn note around and see something that I don't understand...lol...
don't know what I did...selected note...tried to give it to all creatures...gave it to squid and he raised his arm and showed me the exit...lol...
just give that note to the dark lord cthulu and he will let you out
OMG Venn Detta, I have tried and tried to turn that note with no luck. At least not until you said it was possible.
I also could tell the squid's arm was a hot spot that hadn't been used yet. Now it all worked.

Oh, I think I got it: select the note, hit about item, then either select it again or click on it and hit about item AGAIN
I got 2nd ending...not sure if I wanna do that again to get other ending...lol...
Cute game - the possums at the end were especially so!
Absolutely no idea how this game works! All I did was get the present, saw the bugs...clicked them about 50 times...nothing ever happened...used the x to get out! LOL
For second end, save the young opossum from the branch. The squid will give you a present. This is the "I got a souvenir" end.
Game may be buggy. Launches with Adobe Flash note, but my flash is current. Other Yonashi games launch with no problem.
