Finally able to do one without any help ... Either I'm getting smarter or the games are getting easier ... lol
Not THAT easy I must say...
For instance, I must have flipped the lever a thousand times, but there is no effect (not even in the bathroom).
once you flip the lever go to the bath tub and you'll notice the water is not cascading anymore ... clue there
Yes TY, I had overlooked the water intake - d'oh!
The lever shuts off the bathtub "waterfall",
The thing under the bed is a red herring, apparently. Good to know!
any other stumpers that I can try and help with?
Huh? My "thing" under the bed was a remote control for the TV. However, if you can interpret the 'N' on the mirror correctly, you will not need the TV. It's just for the less experienced ;-)
For the less experienced in the game there is a stick on the left hand side of the dresser where the TV is ... use it to get the remote under the first bed ... use remote on the TV ... it will tell you which way is N for the code on the bathroom mirror which is used on the mirror next to the bathtub ... HAPPY HUNTING ... : ))
It says 'nothing' under the beds...
How annoying that it says 'nothing' - just keep clicking about and then you'll eventually hit the remote. Thanks Venn Detta
I just love these games - even the jolly intro and outro music cheers me up - Yes, I'd love to join you for beef steak!
Instead of just saying "you're inexperienced," please explain how the N works? How would you know that the mirror is west? When you look into it, the door is directly behind you. The window is to the west, just like the one in the room is.
I think what people are trying to say is that many of these games add a little complexity to the puzzles by turning the orientation, and the existence of a direction marker suggests that's what is going on. That said, the tv adds the hot and cold water faucets so you actually know what goes where.
