pretty easy, the star hints, blue, black, orange, green, must click in order or you will have to 'reset' it.
NMSquirrel
Not playable because the instructions block the whole view of the game :-(
Game won't load for me. I just get a purple screen.
Apparently I need to turn off adblocker. Not willing to do that so guess I will have to pass on this game.
Hm, am I missing a room? The arrow clue shows 5 arrows but there's only 4 rooms plus the exit screen. I have 3 shapes but not sure where to put them; safe numbers a, b, d; opened the top rigth quarter of the round box. Other than that I seem to be out of puzzle.
Ah, the POP of it all. The round box is just extremely fussy about the shapes. Grab a shape and just wave it all over the unopened parts for a while.
not working for me missing a star clue and a safe clue
Disappointing red x for me
And out!
Note: use Chrome, Opera or turn the adblock off in Firefox to play.
Umm....no. Not turning off AdBlock. Playing the game anyway.
Everything seemed to work for me, game played as Ainars games usually do, except this one was nice and bright for a change so you could see everything that you needed to. It was short, as billed, so no major challenges with the puzzles. I experienced no glitches or bugs like the rest of you, so either he fixed them or whatever tracking programs were running on that site were the cause of your problems.
Wave the shapes around the OUTSIDE of the round box, that is where the corresponding shapes are hidden that will open the quarters of the box!!!
Game is super small at top of screen. Large white screen where game should be. Shouldn't have to change my pc settings to play a game. Sorry Ainars, no game this time.
colored stars puzzle not working...?
tried left to right, hitting each star # of times listed, in order listed...
POP left to right hitting stars # of times indicated on papers. be sure to hit reset b4 starting.
Gongtats!
Mary - To re set the star sequence - hit the restart box until you hear a little squelch noise - just clicking the red star is not enough.
I enjoyed this game, thank you Ainars.
Somehow I never encounter the problems people complain about.
Why do they always the blame the games?
I m using Chrome and doesn't load.
Played in Firefox without adblock as requested, and had no problems with anything.
@muhne
I don't think people blame the games so much as the game makers. And to be fair, it is the game maker's responsibility to do sufficient beta testing on each of the major platforms and configurations before releasing a game in order to make sure that it is both bug-free and playable for the majority of people. But that is a rarity here anymore. Games frequently don't work in Chrome, despite it being one of the most commonly used browsers. And they frequently don't work for users of Adblock, despite that being the most popular browser add-on.
Don't get me wrong...nobody can program something that will work with all of the thousand different configurations possible anymore. That is an unreasonable expectation. But there simply isn't any excuse for not trying to make sure that your games work in the most common ones.
I used to have a heck of a time getting games to run, but I don't anymore primarily because I automatically don't even try to load the page they are on, I go into the source code, find where the swf is, and just run the swf on its own. Not only does that allow me to run it free of the host site's extraneous problematic scripts (the usual reason that people have trouble running games), but it also allows me to run it it full size...the size that the game maker designed it at, and intended it to be played at. That allows me to see the details I am supposed to be able to see.
So ultimately the problem is very rarely the individual user or their configuration. It is far more often poor/insufficient testing on the part of the game maker or else the scripts that the host site is running on the game page itself.
In the case of Ainars it is usually the latter, as his game code is virtually identical no matter what the game. Only the graphics and mapping really change, and that wouldn't affect whether the game would run or not.
@Esmerelda P, I know it has been posted here before, but could you please explain what I need to do to find the source code and swf of which you speak?
im using chrome and it wont play just says loading dam it.
tried loading it 2nd time now it playable
nice and easy and out.ty ainars
worked great for me. I enjoyed it very much.
I played in FF and no problems at all, either.
