Stuck trying to clear weeds??
Eat lots of bananas, lol. Very logical, straightforward, fun, looking forward to tomorrow! Piece of metal in plane piece with color code that is hit with rock. Stick from pulling vine.
nokiaslave, make knife with metal from plane piece and metal rod that you pull out of the ground.
pretty straightforward.
Make a fire and some shelter, then go to sleep.
made a knife from stick and sharp piece of metal from left hand screen and cut away tall grass.

Yeah, hold the rod and then click on sharp metal in your bag to make the knife.
Carried two logs to lower right scene and leaned them against the rocks. Found 3 sticks and some dry grass (behind the bamboo). Lit the grass on fire. Put the 3 sticks down in brown area and grass on top. Now it's night time. I need to find some leaves...
There are a zillion leaves all around, but I still can't find any :-D
need leaves for bed.
Not sure about the wisdom of wandering about with lit grass!!! lol
use the leaves from the tree you cut down zoe
Am I spoiling things too sooon? I can delete my comments if you think I should. I just get so excited I forget that others may not want to know what I've found.

How to light a fire?
I think you need the leaf/leaves on the right in the scene where you got the two logs. Make sure you put your makeshift knife away first. Promising start to what I'm sure will be another excellent series.
linda - Go to where the bamboo is and get the dry grass (it's yellow) and light it where the plane part is still burning. Then bring it back to where you are supposed to build a bed and put it on top of the three sticks you're supposed to find. They're pretty easy to find...
Got the fire lit and 2 logs planted there where are the leaves?

for leaves.. I don't think the cursor changes. Just click big pile of palm fronds in the scene where you got the big logs

As EnJoy said for the leaves the cursor doesn't change - just click them and then check your backpack and they will be there.

Can't combine sharp metal and metal rod.
Oh no. Verizon says it can't find the site Melting Minds.com. Never have I been so disappointed. I hope its just a hiccup because i never had the problem before.
This is what will happen if we don't defend the net from corporations and governments that want to censor and throttle. Just saying..

I only have 2 sticks and can't find the third, I got the one from pulling the vine and the one from chopping down the tree. Where's the other?
somehow found the third, don't know where or how, it was just suddenly in my inventory.
