Used a key and placed a cog. Have bow & arrow, scissors?, mouse & glass. Not sure what to do next.
"scissors" are an electrical.. thing. Click grey box next to where you put the cog.
Use mouse on hotel(?) employee..
Got bow/arrow and stuck, no idea what to do.
Have tried to shoot everyone and everything and dunno where I haven't clicked yet but i can't get anything to happen.
oho! Shoot the dinosaur-like thing's buttons with the bow/arrow.

I took it back after filling the glass with water and used it in the hotel. Now the doorway is lit up but I still can't do anything.

Think I'm nearly done, inventory full, have red ball but yet to find out what to do with it.

hint: thing you get when you light up the green/grey image is a map!
In the hotel doorway, it shows where to throw the ball. I must be missing something 'cause I can't get THAT to work now.
For bow/arrow: If you look at it in the "about item" view, you'll see it's missing something important.
You can complete your bow after you use the bone.
fdbbd, I don't understand the map. Is it the building's, tables, people?
The map is GREEN with GREY rectangles! You see it IN the hotel, what do you see OUTSIDE the hotel?

Another "duh" moment for me.
It's so aggravating when I can't seem to see the simple & the obvious.
Since no one else mentioned it, use the circles in the blue display case inside the cafe for a clue to the buttons on the dinosaur.
I saw no map. And I am out.
I can't even seem to get started. when I plug in electrical thing all I see is a need for a basket ball. No idea what key is for or where to get water for cup. Hints of where you got stuff not just what to do with it would really help me.
Can't use cog anywhere either.
Keeps restarting on me.
Use the key on the house in second scene.
That's where you use cog and electrical thing, but take back the electrical plug after you get water.
For others, check in the bakery under the display case. Use the mouse on the concierge. The cog and fuse/switch thing seemed pointless, I got water before I got the cog and fuse placed, I'm presuming that you're supposed to have to make the pump work before you get the water.
Evans, you have to unlock the house with the key found next to the tree in opening scene, then you can see where to put the cog.
Who said "obvious" just before? That's NOT obvious. The clue (activated with plug in hotel lobby) clearly showed buttons to me, no windows.
Possibly No.1 Game's worst ever effort - terrible!
