I've found a coin in a fruit bowl and that's it so far. Thought the stars on windows would be for the levers on a cupboard, but it seems not.
Gave the coin to the hippo and a light went on (on the hippo) - 9 more to find then...

Breakthrough! Tilt your head when looking at the bookshelves - 3 digits to get 'water pistol'.
Or 'squeaky hammer'. Pull the lever again for a battery.
Then follow CROOk's advice.
Clue at back of cupboard for 3x3 grid.
Stuck again now with rubber band, squeaky hammer and electric drill.
Guess I need to make a water pistol as the picture shows -maybe with bamboo? Need a knife?

The birds give a clue for picture corners.
Then go back and hit them with the hammer.

Look at the heart on he piano (it's missing numbers), use it on the heart drawer.
Open the barrel and look again, piano key is there.
Why is 'Plus' written on the picture?

Have drilled hole in bamboo and filled it with water.

Don't get the clue about heart code
Making the water pistol goes in different steps (sometimes pistol on bamboo, sometimes the other way around)
Don't forget to use the other part of the bamboo to get the box under the bed.
Don't forget to check things twice (like bottoms of boxes).
The real happy coin you get when the other 10 are in the hippo.

No, Clue doesn't work on box
I'm missing one coin. I think I've opened everything, taken the one from the fruit bowl and one from the plastic case on top of the piano. Also got the one under the fake bottom of the box where the shape hit was as well. What am I missing? I did so well until now, and now I'm completely stuck. :)

Rudi - there's a box in a drawer with different shape buttons - those 5 digits relate to that.

whats the bookshelf clue? because i keep putting in 932 on the hammer thing but it's not working
Stuck again - filled bamboo with water and cannot 'process' hammer..... tried both ways and won't combine.... am I missing a step?

Chris: To process the hammer for the water pistol - you need the cloth from box under bed. (Use other bit of bamboo.)

YES! I put cloth on the stick of the plastic hammer and i put the string and i put all in water

can't make piano notes clue work on sliders and can't find key for box under bed. Help please?

the highest note on the code was one click from the top. Count from that the positions for the others. They don't work like notes (ie. don't count the spaces between the lines), but each line is one click.
I think the key for the box was under the barrel lid. You can get it after you've used the hammer to open the barrel.

For I noticed that the numbers in the green thing where you take the hammer from are still ACTIVE and hence might be wanting a second code...

You have to hit the birds with the hammer while they pop up. If you do it right, the bird will light up like a lamp :)
Tesshi-e is truly brilliant. You can BOTH hit the birds earlier with the original hammer as well as later with the water-pistol you've built from it.

i have teh cloth on the hammer also the rubber band. hole in bamboo.. stuck
IDK if it was mentioned above, I didn't see it, but the wooden barrel has water in it. Once the water pistol is assembled, go to that barrel and fill the pistol with water. Go back to the empty tank and use the pistol to put water in the tank to get a happy coin.

Is anyone else having problems with the 3x3? I've opened the cabinet next to it and I can see the clue. This seems like a no-brainer but mine wont open.
I read the comments but I can't find the 10th coin. I've opened everything, it's nowhere. I'm giving up.
Tesshie are usually great, but this one was too difficult.
Great POP moment ! The last coin was on the piano (almost invisible).
I had to use help all along the game, that wasn't very funny.
Fantastic game, although I wouldn't have got out without the clues thanks to small tool and smarties, and everybody else. Teeshie top marks.
this one was tough, they should send us all a real gold coin for making it out!
my only problem is I want to rate this higher than 5 starts!
My biggest problem in the game was not pulling the lever for a second time for the battery- the rest was beautifully logical and a real delight

This was a really challenging game! We need that once in a while, don't we? My rate: ten stars! (if only I could). Magnificent creator! Would never have made it through that door without you guys.
