The problem about the Halloween games are the spiders in EVERY game. Not good for people with arachnophopia like me.

All games should come with a bug spray Meritneith.

An ENA is just what we need to cool the brain down after that Japanese Parka game!

I left the Parker game out after reading the first comments. I hate games with language barrier, they are even worse than those with spiders. ;-)

I must admit that I didn't solve it but SSS Girl did and clued us in.

I went around and found a lot of light bulbs (missing one by now...) and some stuff. Have to take a closer look now. I think counting cats, crowns, skulls, and pumpkins doesn't make sense at the beginning as you may find more by moving things.

Hi Jessica.

Hi Jessica! Feel safer now as there are folks around who have proved their escaping skills before.

Decanting the wine bottle into the blue jar seems to have achieved nothing so far.

That winded stick from one of the spider nets in the first room appears to be a corkscrew.

It opens the wine bottle.

Austen, you must also pour the ice water in you received from the iron. Gives a scroll.

I think placing the tap might give you your last bulb Meritneith.

so many things clicked...forgot what is there

need one more key to rescue the girl - there are some odd combinations in this game and I must admit I can't remember them all

can't get the 'soul' clue...tried using as telephone key pad...and as a 'mirror' image b/c it was on a folded sheet

the battery is used twice - once to melt the ice with iron and the other for colour combination after placing all bulbs

Not a scroll but a tube with a key. And guess what: I only found one keyhole (the chest), and it doesn't fit. Going on. Maybe I should start counting the symbols now.

stuck also with soul clue and still have axe (or hammer as they call it)

also what's with the clue from suitcase?

Grab coal from fireplace with spoon. Put it in brown Vase, put branch in vase too, light it with matches and pour it into second mousehole.

axe opens chest

Thanks, I have counted the symbols and was lucky. Got another key (not for the chest indeed) and the last bulb. Got the colour clue now.

Got 4 keys, a rod and the "SOUL"-clue.

dig in front of fireplace for bone

The chest can be opened with raw violence - use the axe

lol! i tried everything to pry the spider off the corkscrew...duh!

keys collected go to free girl behind bones

finally out

why won't anything 'stick' in the mouse holes?

fudge...please help with the 'soul' clue...feeling clueless

for soul clue open chest with axe and other suitcase with sd and then simply count lines

Chop off the lock from the chest with the axe! I'm trying now to use my items (axe-solved, rod, and shovel) on everything.

the mouse needs a strange concoction involving the peppermint branch and coal from fire I think in brown pot (?)

Shovel is used on floor in fireplace room.

use rod to pry off panel next to window for sd

Jessi - fill brown vase with wine, coal and branch, light it and pour the hot liquid in mousehole in 3rd scene (fireplace)

Too late for my moment of genius! :-)

will be glad when the dark halloween games are done!

Then it will be two months of Christmas games!

i must be going blind...can't find the 'panel' next to 'window'

Thanks fudge, I hadn't seen that panel!

The window where you got the rod (scene 2), upper left Jessica.

geez! ty austen!

Jessica, it's in the second room to the left of that kind of window, look carefully, otherwise you go one scene to the left. Sneaky one.

It's so dark, I couldn't see the panel. AND you would think you'd need to find a screwdriver to open the panel to GET the screwdriver.

Or maybe the axe!

I would never have solved that SOUL clue by my own. Out now, thank you guys for your help and looking forward to the next task!

yes! i swear i knew i had just missed it! appreciate the help!

Feeling kinda stupid, ... what's the spray for?

By the way, has anybody seen the bear mentioned in the game title? But after that screwdrivergate I shouldn't ask.

lol! the soul clue was wacky.

Typical ENA game:
Not heavy on logic but fun to play and gets the chat going.

NVM. I neglected to click on the cage a second time.

As for the "Where was the bear?" question:
Read the blurb at the top of this page.
She was the bear!
No I don't usually read them either.

Same here...

I just sent a trouble report through their own website about this game. I have no idea if this will help or not.....BUMMER cuz I really enjoy playing the Ena games

I have tried through here & from their own website. Also using FF & IE. Nothing works......

I must be stupid. I don't understand the "SOUL" clue. Count the lines? I don't get it. :(

       Anonymous  10/22/14, 9:32 AM

combo of the 2 papers (from chest & suitcase):

look at which position the letters S-O-U-L are on grid with lines
counting all lines means every line till intersection with another

example

E has 5 lines (2 lines vertically, not only 1)

OMG! Thank you so much, AlphaOmega!!!!

OK what am I doing wrong? I've got peppermint, a shovel, matchbox that doesn't have matches, a brown pot that won't open, 4 keys, some spray.

Where is this spoon and how can you pour wine with peppermint into a jar that doesn't open and you've already used the wine elsewhere?

ARGH

OK found the spoon on the mattress on floor, used it to get ashes, put ashes and peppermint and used matchbox on jar. There was no more 'wine' to put into jar.

Incorrect clues really through me off.

Now I have five keys, I'm missing a bone, and I don't see a 'cage' anywhere...

Oh, place to dig in fireplace room for other bone. Gives cage etc.

still can't get soul clue even with both papers, still need one bone too. Could someone spoil the soul clue please?

can't get count right for cats, skulls etc. and no one even mentioned the colour #'s hint. where is that?

Okay. Ben trying to get this game to load in IE. Not working even with the .swf. Tried on their site and the game doesn't load at all. I just get the advertisement. Love ENA games when the link works. Hope they fix the problem. Whatever they did before has broken again.

Alpha Omega, your explanation doesn't make sense to me. Count intersections so E has two vertical lines?

       Anonymous  10/23/14, 8:52 AM

Count lines, not intersections.

SPOILER

S-O-U-L
Y-K--I-X (in suitcase)
3-3--1-4 (lines)

(well, K in suitcase isn't exactly letter K...)
