Why can't we rate games any more? Have the developers complained that people won't play if they see a low score?

(and honestly, I save my low ratings for really awful games that are buggy. If a developer ain't my cup of tea I can just choose to not play. And I LIKE Ena games, btw.) :(
OK, so I've picked up a lot of crap, and there's a garbage can with no hint for word. No other screens. What am I missing?

Just had to restart, and pick everything up again, but I did bother to read the blurb this time, and it seems we have to make use of things in 'appropriate places' - hmm - off to recycle!

I want to put the flower pots somewhere and plant them up, but apparently they are 'tanks'?
How did you BF the letters Melody? Usually with ENA we can't BF anything - have to see the clue first. Off to try again.
I think my first 3 letters were NON but not sure of the 4th
They are flower pots, they go on the next screen right when you have thrown all the rubbish away.
I put my pots on the ground in the scene to the right of the recycle bin and put in the seeds

I'm at a loss. Tried the letter BF and it's not working. Can't put the tanks anywhere.
I gave up on this - my game bore no relationship to the w/t. trees are suppossed to be chopped down - giving NO NO - but no NO NO for me
Plant the 3 flowers in the field
On the walkthrough, it appears the game starts out with saws in front of the trees. I don't see any saws.
I got a bit worried about my rubbish, because it started hovering over the bin, and only went in when I chucked the box at it. Have a quivering red thermometer (that looks like a rounders bat) on my screen now. Maybe global warming is taking over and I'm nearly too late.

Try "nono" for the word.
Yeah, I was able to get started with the nono word, but I don't get this one. Just when I say how much I like Ena, and the ratings disappear, an awful Ena comes out. Maybe it's a grand social experiment?
This gets an awful rating from me as well. It doesn't seem well thought out and the game is noticeably different from the walk through.
Remove metal stuff from bin with magnet.
Maybe we could just rate this game NO NO on our own.

there was a bug in my game i couldn't chop the trees down at the beginning no saws appeared for me.
This game needs a complete revision!
No no saws cut down my trees so my newly planted trees no no grow. Big No No.

There is a link or something missing from this game and it cannot be played.At the start the trees are supposed to be chopped down (as previously mentioned) after the seeds are planted trees are supposed to grow which seems to open another page but my trees didn't grow.It would be appreciated if this problem could be fixed so that we can actually play this game.I usually enjoy most of the games here but this one is a bit of a pain.Thank-you

So no ratings module ought to really help that whole "most popular" metric be completely accurate.
If removing it was to stop devs from rating their own games, what's to stop them from just clicking on and loading their games a ton to boost its "popularity?" If the problem was the devs didn't like the ratings they were getting, maybe it's because they cranked out really buggy, counter-intuitive, broken, or same-old-same-old escape games to get ad views?

Have just played this game, which has obviously been updated and bugs fixed. I like the idea of the game although the building of the "machines" was a bit hit and miss. If I could rate, this would get a decent 3 stars from me.
