ReplyDeleteting ting is right, this is so tempting to count the books, but it won't bring you any further...S-N-E-A-K-Y ....
ReplyDeletebehind a gate there is a triangle on the floor, note the rods of this gate
ReplyDeleteTY Hotzenplotz however... it's not THAT easy.
HINT: Triangles you look at from first-person view can have their top tip on top, right, left or down ...
OK. Almost there.

ReplyDelete@Jools the books make a "digital" number...you have to view them in horizontal triples, not column per column.
ReplyDelete@dabi thanks, unfortunately you haven't told me where to find those numbers. I wanted to know where the clue is, not the solution (I usually want to find the solutions by myself)

ReplyDeleteYes it is, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've never looked at those bars and I was never aware their amount is different for each bed!
So the number is pretty easy to figure out without running around any more...
If the numbers are 1,2,3 just hack in all combinations 123, 321, 213 .. until it clicks. :)))
arby, I really like the Hottategoya games. the riddles are logical and you have to find some sneaky details, and for me it is exciting to realize this details and get the solutions.
ReplyDeleteso for the first comments, I just wanted to give some hints for WHAT you have to keep a look on. just posting the solutions or exactly where you can find it (in SIMILAR rooms) is no fun.
(sorry for my poor English)
I hope, in next games I will give some better hints.
ReplyDelete???
ReplyDeleteWhy this servility?
Your hints were perfect, and I liked it that you did not give away the "specialty of the triangle puzzle". So i didn't either, but was just hinting at it.
I think we two can agree that sometimes we both hate that some people just "throw" code numbers on here without a warning. Since in this case, there wouldn't be any point thinking about a solution yourself. :)
For anyone who needs a visual of the bookshelf clue.
ReplyDelete(right click to open in new window)
bookshelf clue
GMac, looked at your post and did a face plant. For some reason I could not see that...
ReplyDeleteIf the 3 number hint is the rails on the bed...I find 4 numbers, not 3. There are a lot of combinations. I tried visulaising it, but no joy yet. I'm sure it's obvious.....
ReplyDeletePOP the room where you start doesn't count
ReplyDeleteHa! I did it, and didn't even find all the clues! I usually get scared doing the same room thing but this one was logical and interesting! Good job!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best Hottategoya games. I still can't believe the books puzzle. Amazing.
