The fireplace number should be for the crate with the 5 skulls, but in the end I did it by trial and error. Don't missthe hot spot on the red arm chair for the scissors.

Mine was on the arm of the big red chair - cut the stitches

I never used the fireplace clue (or saw any box w/ skulls). Out without them.
How to read clue paper in inventory? What pixel did I miss? I assume it spells SNOW, which will give last mirror piece for hand puzzle.
Pixel spot was under table in front of red chair.
