for cupboard in far right room (face to window) (room 1) note black/gray cushions in room 3
for cupboard in room 2 note hint in cupboard (room 4) and calendar in room 5

Clue in 4th room safe and last calendar go together....

A bit more about that code in room 1:
It's not just one black/white code you need. You have to do 5 of them as the rows are in room 3.
for green
look at the shape of the windows
start 5-1
don't get the calendar and backwards red hint?
nvm got it only make red the ones where the letters on the calendar are upside down or backwards.

Wow! This was quite reminiscent of those good old Hottategoya and Shanty-games this guy used to make. Not too hard, but certainly rtakes some thinking. Not short, but not long either. No "maze-like" navigational difficulties between the similar rooms.
Great. I hope this guy really gets back to the quality we all know (s)he's capable of. This one certainly seems a step in the good direction.
Having a math brain fog today, maybe, just can't figure out the code for room one at all...
I am stuck with room 1 too
For room 1 look at the cushions, the rows in room 3.
So start with:
BBBW
Then make that:
WBBW
Keep doing that (chaning one at a time) till you did all row hints from room 3.

I kept drawing a blank with the "window" clue...then I looked closer at the "panes" of the windows... :P
