nippers from couch for fire extinguisher (black wire)
Well, since I'm sucking at finding any codes for the button room, let's give this a shot!
key bottom right in wall niche (room right of couch scene)
Then you can go down to get another wall to find pliers. Weird naivgation.
Place to use the other nippers is a tiny pixel at the edge of the side view of the couch.
Click left arm of couch (when you can still see door) to get another scene. Use pliers to get door handle.

wow, this was stunning, I really had to search for the key. Good one.

Read comments to find pliers and hint for key that I'd already found, but no sign of a door handle.

OK, you have to use the key on the nearest arm of the couch in order to see the scene with the box.
Clicking on the arm of the couch if you haven't first clicked the key won't get you where you want to go.
It isn't a small pixel, as you can see if you cycle through the TAB key.
for me it worked without clicking key(s)...
It's fun playing a game I can solve on my own.
