I don't get the L/R clue. Help!

The hint for the L/R puzzle is the shrimp/prawns picture on top of the 3 cupboards (it's just a matter of figuring out which is left and which is right).

I can't find the fish! When I first played the game I saw the place where I needed the letters. Now I have the letters and can't find the place to put them! I feel silly. I've opened the 3 cupboard doors several times but they're empty. Help?
