I do! Found four, one by the green 9, one on purple logo, one on side of brown clue box, one by entering colored numbers and stuck
Only found 5. Left front box, not sure what's the code. Any help?

took me awhile to find my last escape man: in scene with shape code, you can find a second man.
Stuck with only 3 men. Solved the paisereicto. Can't find the blue/turquoise number

my last EM was under orange part cake in view code shapes
Is it a bug that the EM I've found won't show up in the inventory bar on the right side, only the number of them? All I can see in the inventory bar is a black number 5 (the number of EM I've found)...
Also, the bug I've been experiencing with No#1's games, the one where the game restarts itself (jumps back at the title screen) after about 10 seconds into the game is still present. No biggie, just a bit annoying.
just can't get the cake heights right - tried every possible combo... I quite!

I have 4 Escape Men and the hints above are pretty much useless as far as any help goes.
- "How does 4 Letter and symbol puzzle work - can't find a clue NVM found it" [But WHERE?!? *I* couldn't find it despite spinning around the room until *I* was green with motion sickness.]
- "Once you get to the cake, things move along pretty quickly" [If, however, you can't *get* to the cake, things move along pretty slowly....]
- "Click on the EM in inventory" [My 4 Escape Men in inventory show themselves when I click the big escape man icon, but clicking on them does nothing exciting.]
- "Mel inspect your 5 escape men closely" [I can't find 5 escape men to inspect closely so I'm not sure what that means exactly.]
I have clicked on all sides of the box, including the top - gotten the one on top opposite the green "9", from the 4 letters on side opposite Patisserie Picto, 4 coloured numbers and somewhere else.
JUST NOW - waited on Patisserie Picto side and *POOF!* #5 EM appeared and when I clicked on the group of them, the 4-letters-and-symbol word appeared (I actually TRIED that exact phrase before this after getting inspired, but it wouldn't work until I actually saw the code on the backs of the Escape Men)
Anyway, still posting this, as it is frustrating not to get any small hints that are useful to help move the game along....
m,i so agree dean some time u get oh found this but they never leave clues,wat might be easy for some could be hard for others,years ago there was a great bunch in here that left fantastic hints .... I have 4 men and so stuck.ones I got is side of box where u see no2, where the gren 9 is click above box to get there,,one where theres purple writing, and the colour code.
ok now I get the bit about the writing where no5 is and the one 2 moves to the right.start write down both words start from the left ist letter on both is a p so ignore then look at the 2nd letter again both the same keep doing that when u get to a letter and the other one is different write that letter down. there should be 4 letters
hm word spells cake then theres a @ I typed cake but nothing happens

found it where u change the shapes click at the bottom of the table cloth he hiding there.
How ironic that for all the complaints about poor hints, your hints aren't helping me! Isn't the difference the letters tspi? I've tried them in all sorts of combinations with no luck. Still only got 4 men.
smarties, it's not an anagram of sorts, just use the letters as found in the 'word', from left to right.
the remaining letters I mean.
Checked walkthrough - it's TSIP. Not sure how you're supposed to know which 'i' to remove to get the right order.

So, here we go.
This is a cake-box. Let's start with that lol. Little did I know ...
Click the top of the cakebox. You're looking down on it.
Click both parts you see. One is a green 9, the other Esc.1.
Zoom out.
Click the left side of the safe in front of the cake-box = Esc.2.
Click the right side for a light-blue 2.
Turn left.
Read Patisserie Picto, wait ....... Esc.3.
Turn left.
an orange 7.
And a sticker with colored numbers, one more to find.
Turn left.
a red 5 ..... tear open the sticker = Esc.4
So far so good?

I will continue though, otherwise it's half done.
at the red 5 side there's written 'paisereicto'.
Go through the words 'patisserie picto' from left to right and take the letters that are missing in paisereicto, as smarties wrote above = Esc.5.
Now ... click the question mark at the Esc.men in inventory and read a hint = the box opens ... and there it is .... yummy .... no, not yet.
Click the left leaf = Esc. 6.
Click the right side of the cake.
Click the levers in the order as the cake colors show = strawberries.
But first read a green/red hint, notice the way the leafs are pointing, to the right or to the left.
Go back and click the left side of the cake.
Click the buttons = Happy birthday (beginning of this month, thank you).
Go back and click the card = Esc.7 and a number.
Take Esc. 8 from a strawberry.
Click above the cake to take a look at the other side, use the number on the shapes = sweet clotted cream.
Wait, there's more ... click the bottom of the cake = Esc. 9.
Go back.
Click the green clotted cream icing = Esc. 10.
Now .. blow out aaaaallll the candles.
Fitting, seeing as my birthday was in January.
